Can air in the power steering cause the vehicle to have have a hard time shifting gears. Or affect the Transmissions shifting? My truck jumps today. Has not done that before.
@@VoltisArt Haha yeah, I wasn't really referencing the video as much as replying to the comment seeming unconvinced about the ATF. These AI videos are getting more and more convincing, but not quite there yet...
It almost seemed like this was written by a human being. Almost. It clearly wasn't spoken by a human, and no live video editors were harmed...or remotely involved...in the making of this film. Also...sigh...please don't _remove_ your steering wheel if trying to repair your power steering system. Other than that, the advise isn't horrible...

Good intent, seemingly, but, content is in need of accuracy ( one is oil dipstick check vs PS fluid reservoir check ).
My citroen C2 VTR doesnt use fluid and has stopped work before then worked for months this morning suddenly stopped what causes this please
It probably uses an electric motor to power steer. New small cars do this.
How to fix it though I wouldn't know
The car engine is on or off during bleeding
off and wheels in the air to easy steering manually without the pump
That's interesting
😂 ps pump in a tesla? That is an electronic steering system 😂
I stopped watching at "turn the power steering hose"
I steering is just like locked up ..cls500 2005
Hello everyone i am a steering engineer by profession I work and repair all kinds of steering pumps and racks for all kinds of cars..
Do you have any info for subarus? I have an 07 legacy that I can't seem to bleed correctly.
What is the best way to get air out your system?
Prime the pump befor you install it then it will bleed of the air
Transmission fluid.....huh
It’s actually pretty common for power steering systems to use automatic transmission fluid.
@@How3Kiwinot _from_ the transmission system, which is one of the clips shown in this AI-assembled video.

My 07 Dodge Dakota uses ATF. Not circulating it from the transmission, it's got its own power steering fluid reservoir.
