    This is one of the best fishing video that I've ever seen on TH-cam. A video with real information, not a bunch of music that has nothing to do with fishing. Well done, sir.

They were money and routinely where the trolling gear that got hit time and time again. Cool video. What long handle gaf do you use or recommend?

I want to go to Tom Canyon. Have you been out there? Three years ago I caught a real nice Wahoo there. The water is warm there now. Todd from Gateway is such a great guy! Really depends on where you're fishing and what size fish you are targeting. For NJ/NY smaller school fish you can't go wrong with some Sterling Tackle wide tracker bars and Crazy 8 chains for trolling. 30 class reels work well. I fish all Talica 25IIs and International 30 wides for trolling.

    28 inches,not trying to be a dick but that little yellow was close.Also always keep your boat heading straight and moving forward that way you don’t have to clear all your lines and because they are straight off the stern they won’t get wrapped up.Most spreader bars float so the only lines you may need to clear are your flat lines and your weighted rigs,like joe chutes

    • @CFalicon
      @CFalicon  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on where you're fishing. For inshore midshore NJ TLD 25s will work, last few years the fish have been trending towards the larger 150 lb class and then you might be asking a lot of a TLD 25.

    Do yourself a favor, dump the 250 and get twin 150's , your taking a big chance every time you head offshore, take some advice from someone that use to fish the canyons off of R.I. in a 1985 25 foot hydrosport cc with twin 150 everscreweds. You will one day get caught out there, it's inevitable. But I give you a lot of credit, regulators are good rugged boats for sure, pic your days and always have a backup plan. Oh, by the way, we use to get YFT up to 200lbs, what a shame that all you see now are fish in the 40 to 80lb class.

    what types of rods/reels are you using?

      @CFalicon  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'd have to go back and look but primarily for trolling I have custom calstar stand up rods with Shimano Talica 25s and Penn International 30vsws. For jigging a mix of black hole and saltywater tackle rods paired with shimano saragosa and twin power spinning reels and jigging master conventional reels. All my popping rods are from Saltywater Tackle.
