So I just got the auraglow from amazon yesterday. I paid about 50 bucks for it.. I used it for 30 mins yesterday, and I used it for 10 this morning. I must say, I had my doubts... I smoke cigarettes, and I drink coffee, so I figured this wouldn’t work, but low and behold, after MY first USE my teeth were whiter, not by much, but you could tell the difference. The reason I did 10 minutes today, is because I felt a ping of pain in my front tooth, so I turned it off- Still worked. I actually enjoy this product. I did how ever use a sensitivity toothpaste for my teeth called Pronamel afterwards... So that I think helped calm things down a bit. But overall, and so far, I’d give the auraglowa 8/10. And that’s just because I’ve only used it two days. I’ll continue to use it for the rest of the week, to see. Thanks for reading! I’ll probably post again once the 5 days are up.
Kayondo Thomas alright, so I’m going to be 100% honest. This really does work... I’m pretty skeptical about things like this, you know? And I didn’t think it would work. But it does. Seriously, get it if you’re wanting a whiter smile. I absolutely love mine! Now, the only downside? Sensitivity. My teeth have been a TINY bit sensitive, BUT using my pronamel has helped it. My cousin had the same issue, but she said after a week and a few days her sensitivity was gone. So overall I now give this product a 9/10. Get it and try it; you won’t regret it. And if you do get it, hit me up here, let me know how it is!!! Edit: and like I said in my comment up there, I smoke cigarettes (sadly about a pack a day. Nasty I know. I’m trying to slow down and then STOP) I drink about 4 or 5 cups of coffee a day, so that doesn’t really help... but this auraglow literally pushes through that and whitened my teeth. And this is my personal experience, nobody is telling me to say this.. I swear it 100%. Anyway; that’s my input on it. Have a fantastic morning /day/night!! 🤗
@@wireduponthedew.6636 Wow awesome...been doing peroxide mouthwashes and coconut oil pulling for a week now and am not seeing any changes yet. Once my tin of coconut oil is empty and am not seeing any improvement i'll damp the regiment and go for this Auraglow you recommended. Thanks alot.
I use the high-end Crest 3D White Supreme Flex Fit strips. The whitening is profound, lasts a long time, and doesn’t cause any sensitivity issues with me. During the whitening period (20 days!) I really try to avoid coffee, wine, etc. It is encouraging and exciting to see the daily progress. After about day 15, my teeth are almost too white, if that’s possible, and I sometimes save the remaining strips for a shorter touch-up regimen later on. I also try to deal with food stains right away by brushing. Many people have complemented me on my teeth, even strangers, and ask what I do to make them so white. Crest strips, watch what you eat and drink, brush as needed or at least twice a day (I use a basic Sonicare.). That’s it. I also visit my dentist-who I think is the best in the world!-for regular cleaning and checkups. There must be other Creat strips fans out there.
For ease of use I'd say the Crest Whitening Strips are best, especially if you're a busy person. The Opalescence product looked to have worked really well and hits a marker of ease of use while also being more potent. Both Doreen and Skylar had relatively great results for each of their products. I would also agree that the MI Paste didn't seem to work at all, so i'll probably avoid that product, hopefully Debora can find another product that will work for her.. Other than that, the volunteering for the products are great. There aren't many product reviews and the information about the products coming from workers in the Dental offices makes that evaluation more reliable. Thank you!
I really find the crest strips work really well for me. I'm 66 and a smoker and I definitely noticed my teeth were whiter even after one application. I keep them on overnight. You may feel a little sensitivity at first but that stopped by regular use. Definitely recommend them and inexpensive. Thank you for this video. It would have been better if you had shown the people who were older and actually had stained teeth. If you have already beautiful white teeth stain free then whitening products like these are not going to make them look that much whiter. Teeth can only become whiter with professional Lazer treatment which is very expensive. Thanks anyway. 🏴💫
Wanted to make a note about blue led lights! Regardless of whitening effects it absolutely kills bacteria. It will heal a canker sore fast, my medusa piercing was getting infected and it healed that in 2 days. (With sea salt water rinses) ♡ have gingivitis? Floss, brush, sea salt rinse, water pick helps, mouth wash with that medicine from the dr. Us mi paste and the mouth wash will stain teeth over time so only use it when gums are actually infected. Do everything the doctor days then add blue light led for up to 10 min every other day. When your gums heal, then get another cleaning for plaque staining. Then use a whitener! ♡ continue using mi paste if you use whitener.

I used opalescense and it worked really well for me! I gotta get myself some more tho. I’m addicted to coffee so that doesn’t help with staining 😅 Thanks for this review Doc
I really like the whiting kits with a mouth guard. I’ve cried the crest white strips but they don’t fit as nicely as a custom guard. My favorite experience was at a home show in south Florida. They had a service to lighten my teeth under LED lights for an hour and I lifted 3 shades !
For the darkness of the teeth from the beginning to the end I believe that the crest white strips I believe it was Doreen. Because the other people in the beginning didn't really have that dirty of teeth to begin with. For Doreen to have almost white teeth with her teeth being that dark before those were great results.
Tony Stark depends on your pain tolerance. I used it before and never had a problem. I took a long break from it then used it months ago and it hurt like crazy. I have sensitive teeth too so it made it worse. Felt like I needed to go to the dentist
I have used opalescence 35% for years. I have custom whitening trays from my dentist's office and buy the opalescence from Amazon. I put the Peroxide gel into my tray at night and leave them in all night. It's a bit overkill since the 35% is only supposed to stay on for 30 minutes, however, the results for me are almost immediate when I wake up in the morning (5-6 hours later). I do it 2 times a week for 1 week and I am usually about 3-4 shades brighter. I will say, for some reason, the peroxide effect still lingers after a while. The peak whiteness for my teeth usually comes about a week after my treatment week. I think the bleaching effect may intrude into the pores of the teeth slowly which means there is a delay for best results. I am completely happy with this setup mainly because it is extremely inexpensive in comparison to in-house whitening. My custom trays were the most expensive part, it cost me about 240$ but it was easy since I already had a custom mold of my teeth from my retainer.
The MI Paste has alot of bang considering it actually helps with sensitivity. It lightened the teeth by at least a shade or two. Hydroxyapatite toothpaste will also lighten teeth in a similar way.
Opalasence works. You can buy 16% - 35% peroxide. My mouthguard was made to measure by a dentist. Still fits like a glove 20 years later. Put it in before bed & then sleep.
MI Paste is for re-mineralization of the tooth enamel. Perhaps long term it may also provide whitening effects. . I would use both a tooth whitener (short term) and the MI paste long term. MI Paste prevents decay.
I would also liked to see how the products affect the health of the teeth and what they actually do with the teeth. Like some pro's and maybe risks while using. But overall thank's for the Video🙏
No surprise that 20% peroxide would give the best results. But that would definitely make my teeth sensitive. I've used Crest 3D before and it's a bit milder, but still made my teeth sensitive.
Thank you so much for doing this! This video was very helpful. I have been wanting to try out a teeth whitening method but have felt Leary due to sensitive teeth. Thank you for the info!

I'll just stay with my Crest 3D white strips. The My Smile from Amazon seems to whiten your teeth a bit. But, the mouth tray is so big it stretches my mouth too much and my cheeks start to ache. No thank you! Thats a deal breaker. Plus they only give you a litte of the whitening stuff in those syringes, so no again! Too messy., literally you have to drain the drool every 4 minutes or so. Too much of a hassle!Might try the Opulence thing . Thanks again! Great video! 💗😁💗
Looks like Skyler and Doreen have the best results...i personally tried the crest whitening strips and i love it because is convinient to use and save you for messes and irritated gums. ..
I like the crest white strips. I actually currently buy the crest white strips and the Walmart knock off brand. I use the strips everyday but alternate between the crest strips and the knock off ones. I’ve seen a huge difference in the color of my teeth. Sensitivity occurs during the first few uses and also if you happen to apply the strip too much on top of the gums rather than just over the teeth. I liked Beths transformation. Hi
Joseph R Nemeth DDS & Associates - Hey Doc, Yes! They are exactly the same, other than the taste. The knock off ones taste like a chemical, while the crest white strips taste minty.
How do you know that these products wouldnt hurt the gum, though? Also every time my dentists scratch my teeth with tools hard core, I feel like it hurts my teeth...wasn't it as bad as using abrasive stuff?
Thanks! I did not start looking at whitening my teeth until I was in my late 60’s and tried the Crest 3D strips, as well as some other brand using the trays. While I got good results, I began to find that one of my front teeth whitened more than the other one. Plus I have fangs top and bottom that also whitened more than all the rest ... yikes! Then I tried some dried charcoal powder and brushed throughly for at least 5 minutes and got much better results between the teeth and by the gums. (but realize now to not do this very often or never again, because of the abrasiveness of the charcoal :((( ... anyways, seems doing tests with folks over 60 would be a better experiment. AND how to address teeth that do not whiten evenly. (I was thinking about cutting up a colgate strip to fit only the tooth is not whitening like the rest. And do the same from all my bottom teeth between the 2 super white fangs ... 😂 ... we are so vane ... I see folks like Peter O’Toole whom clearly never whitened his teeth and he still got roles 😂
Place the photo of person & product used..when ranking results…You’re the expert…are these safe for your gums and teeth in the LONG RUN…I would use unknown people with lesser than white teeth..I did NOT see much contrast in any before & after pics…The Crest Strips did a great job ..my whitest teeth that I can ever remember!!
Im currently trying a product called ARC whitening system but its only the first day so i don't know if it really works yet. One of your volunteers used Opalescence. I love that stuff!! It works beautifully. When i worked for an oral surgeon i got a one year supply of it for $50! People used to tease me and say that they needed sunglasses when i smiled at them. Lol. Anyways, thanks for sharing your experiment results with us!
Professional input and very helpful comparison. Thank you. Currently using whitening strips by Alpina White. Saw a big difference after the first two usages, not much after that. I am almost done with the 6 days treatment. Good for the price but expected a bit more towards the end. I guess any low percentage at home treatment can only do so much.
I’ve always tried the crest whitening strips they work but this isn’t a forever whitening you must keep maintenance and know if you smoke or drink your teeth will be stained
Hi great channel and I subscribed! I enjoyed the effects with the first product AuraGlow and thought that was the best option and worked excellent. It's important to find what works best for us and I appreciate you going over these options to help better educate on what works for tooth whitening. Thanks
I like your contents 👌🏼 following you from Nairobi 🇰🇪.. otherwise next video use some coloured teeth so that we can really tell the difference..I really want to use one but I don't know how I can access them in Africa..
I notice that in 90% of teeth whitening comparisions, the "after" photo always has a cooler white balance compared to the "before" photo. I see that happening here, especially on Skylar's photos. Look at the skin colour of the before and after. It's subtle, but enough that it would also affect teeth colour.
How does an LED light (which doesn't produce UV light) help the peroxide in the whitening gel? The fundamentals of tooth whitening is using peroxide (which is really bad for your teeth) mixed in with UV rays to speed up the whitening process.
Sklar! I absolutely love your videos. I am a new subscriber, and I'd like to thank you and your associates for taking your time to educate viewers and reinforce all the aspects of dental health your videos encompass. This education is invaluable and much appreciated!
Opalessence didn’t work at all for me even at the 35% strength. I used it one day for 35 min but not multiple times. It’s hard to find a good wide arch tray for whitening too. I will paint it on and put wads of padding in cheeks to keep it from migrating but I’m wondering if yellow stains will ever come out without killing your enamel. There is supposed to be a Dr office whitener for tetracycline stains which my husband has but I forgot.
1-Brush,wipe by using baking soda, than, floss and rinse with mouthwash minimum twice a day. 2-Use Crest whitening strips once a day. 3-Visit yr dental office/ hygienist at least every 6 months. 4-Drink milk, eat calcium rich nuts, vegetables. 5-Avoid ,smoking, sugary drinks, sweets treats, chocolate as much as possible. 6-The money that you spent for yr oral health is the best Investment you can ever make.
Heres the thing. I feel like some people pay extra attention to brushing when they're whitening their weeth, like, more than usual. Which skews it for me. So far,its the LED thingy. Least I can use the light to read lol.
I'm hoping to buy AuraGlow Teeth Whitening Kit, LED Light, 35% Carbamide Peroxide from your description; does it weaken enamel or cause any damage at all to teeth, sir?
Bad staining f years of smoking and black coffee used crest white strips IMMEDIATE discomfort and the entire next day severe sensitivity and my teeth literally felt like they were cramping. Is this just me? Better alternatives f sensitive teeth w nicotine/coffee stains? Thanks in advance!

Thanks again! Great video! 💗😁💗
Looks like Skyler and Doreen have the best results...i personally tried the crest whitening strips and i love it because is convinient to use and save you for messes and irritated gums. ..
“Next victim.....I MEAN volunteer” 😂😂😂😂😂😂
All looked good before, I see no difference after !!
because they are all American !! lol
Very greatful 2 you dr.thankyou so much
I like the first 2 options the best! I do want to try the Crest white strips considering I have been wanting to try that for years.
So did u try them?
Did u try them???
@@markrak5895 damn, this was 2 years ago? Lol. No I haven’t.

I think the second product and crest mentioned worked very well
Venus white is the best. Except for the sensitivity. You see results right away.
I feel burn on my bottom gum😢 when I use Auraglow .Why is that ?
MI Paste is used for re-mineralization of the enamel with hydroxyapatite.
Thank you for the great info! And honest reviews! :)
Of course! Thank you so much for commenting.
2:12 *It is a combination of 20% peroxide.*
Ok, but it it safe to use it? Any long term downside ???
Hello Dr.Nemeth, which toothpaste do you personally use?
Professional input and very helpful comparison. Thank you. Currently using whitening strips by Alpina White. Saw a big difference after the first two usages, not much after that. I am almost done with the 6 days treatment. Good for the price but expected a bit more towards the end. I guess any low percentage at home treatment can only do so much.
What would you recommend between Auraglow and Crest whiting strips?
I’ve always tried the crest whitening strips they work but this isn’t a forever whitening you must keep maintenance and know if you smoke or drink your teeth will be stained
Thank the person with the whitener strips get the best results
Hi great channel and I subscribed! I enjoyed the effects with the first product AuraGlow and thought that was the best option and worked excellent. It's important to find what works best for us and I appreciate you going over these options to help better educate on what works for tooth whitening. Thanks
I like your contents 👌🏼 following you from Nairobi 🇰🇪.. otherwise next video use some coloured teeth so that we can really tell the difference..I really want to use one but I don't know how I can access them in Africa..
This was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks
Thank you all for doing this. It was very informative and helpful.
All these people had guns to there heads lol
Thank you for this video so helpful
what do you think of charcoal powder
when did larry king become a dentist?
What is the best toothpaste for gingivitis
hello sir is there any toothpaste which can remove bad smell from mouth
Perhaps the costs of these products would be useful information?
Whitening strips are the best to me!!
Please advise which whitener you recommend and the cheapest half dentures
I think Skyler got really great results!! I wouldn’t mind trying that at all. Love your videos!
Sklar! I absolutely love your videos. I am a new subscriber, and I'd like to thank you and your associates for taking your time to educate viewers and reinforce all the aspects of dental health your videos encompass. This education is invaluable and much appreciated!
"Skyler"
Are the volunteers wearing dentures? And, would this whiten implants?
Opalessence didn’t work at all for me even at the 35% strength. I used it one day for 35 min but not multiple times. It’s hard to find a good wide arch tray for whitening too. I will paint it on and put wads of padding in cheeks to keep it from migrating but I’m wondering if yellow stains will ever come out without killing your enamel. There is supposed to be a Dr office whitener for tetracycline stains which my husband has but I forgot.
just had my tooth extraction but why did i laugh when the dentist said next victim
I'm here with the auraglow with LED light in my mouth and listening to this video. Lol
Haha I hope it works for you!
@@josephrnemeth it has worked for me before after stopping coffee wanted a revap.. but it works

Heres the thing. I feel like some people pay extra attention to brushing when they're whitening their weeth, like, more than usual. Which skews it for me. So far,its the LED thingy. Least I can use the light to read lol.
I saw white teeth w Skyler, and though "WOW" when I saw them! Doctor you did NOT make a recommendation???
I'm hoping to buy AuraGlow Teeth Whitening Kit, LED Light, 35% Carbamide Peroxide from your description; does it weaken enamel or cause any damage at all to teeth, sir?
35% is definitely a very strong concentration. It may cause some tooth sensitivity and gum irritation.
Bad staining f years of smoking and black coffee used crest white strips IMMEDIATE discomfort and the entire next day severe sensitivity and my teeth literally felt like they were cramping. Is this just me? Better alternatives f sensitive teeth w nicotine/coffee stains? Thanks in advance!
your guys teeth are so PERFECT
