I have been told not to brush after drinking coffee. Reason being, coffee is acidic and momentarily softens your teeth. If you brush immediately after you could be stripping away your enamel and making your teeth even more porous. Instead brush beforehand and drink water with coffee to wash the coffee away from your teeth.

Hey Jade, we like to use a whitening strip once every 2 weeks to once a month just to keep our teeth looking white. How often you need to use them depends on how often you drink/eat staining foods & how white you want to keep your teeth, but that's what we've found works for us 😊
I’m really scared to give crest 3D white strips another go.. I followed the instructions a few years ago and did them every day for a week and by the end of the week I had little holes in the sides of my teeth and they’ve only gotten worse over the years.
I’m not even surprised the Crest strips is their favorite because it actually works. Michael Jackson used Crest toothpaste with the whitening gel and his smile was one of the most gorgeous smiles I’ve ever seen. No need for expensive kits.
It's such a weird concept to me for people to have sensitive teeth. In the 20 years of my life I can't remember ever having a tooth ache. My teeth aren't perfect or the healthiest of healthy (pretty normal actually) but I've never felt anything on them, wether I had a hole or drank/ate something really cold or whatelse. I just get a slight feeling of discomfort when I have things stuck between my teeth. Also always be careful with activated charcol, as it is indigestable and binds not only poisons but medicin, nutrients and minerals in your digestive system as well. I know it's cool and black (believe me I love black) but be aware of those side effects
You should have your husband make you bleaching trays from your current molds and then use desensitizing gel in the trays such as UltraEZ, 3% potassium nitrate, .11% fluoride to reduce your sensitivity as your postules are exposed during the whitening process forming sensitivity within the roots.
I was at an In-N-Out Burger one night a couple years ago and had a brief conversation with the security guard working outside. He was around 30 years old and had the absolute brightest most stunning teeth I've probably ever seen in real life. I asked him, "How in the world do you get your teeth so white?" He proceeded to tell me that he brushed his teeth with baking soda and hydrogen peroxide for 10 minutes every 4 days. He said he'd been doing it for over 10 years. I asked him if he had any teeth sensitivity and he said no. Would love to know your thoughts on this technique. Is this guy in for a rude awakening with his dental health one day?

I feel like you summarized the video pretty well (I did watch it) with product advice for sensitive teeth. I appreciate that! I’ve actually had a tooth appear to crack the enamel? It’s been 10yrs since I’ve tried strips and I’m sure they’ve improved since then.
Loved the video Sara!💞 Definitely have new ideas of how to keep my teeth white. I haven’t asked my dentist if I could use the crest white strips with my braces I’ll have to ask him next time I see him. But I cannot wait to try the strips once I get my braces off!😁
So I asked Grant about how to whiten with braces & he said that you have to be careful not to whiten too much because when you take the brackets off later your teeth can be dark underneath those because the whitening didn't reach that part of the tooth so it's better to wait until after the braces come off. Definitely ask your own dentist who knows you best, but that's what he told me lol Your teeth are going to be GORG when you get them off I'm so excited for you Karlee 😻💗

I just got my teeth whitening kit off amazon. Its called Ms. Dear but its actually the exact same kit as a lot of other ones. I noticed an immediate improvement after 1st use. Just finished my 4th session. I went about 10 minutes longer this time. Not much improvement this time. I'm wondering how often i should change the battery in the blue light .
Woah! Their teeth are amazing. Remind me wear sunglasses next time.
You guys are such a cute couple 💖
Aw thank you so much 🥰
CREST - I was so worried these were going to be on the bad list, haha! You can't get them here in the UK - next time I'm in the US I'm definitely looking into getting some. Feel so lucky to hear from an actual professional on this stuff - good job, Grant!
That is such a bummer you can't buy them in the UK! That seems so weird to me. Haha I kind of forced Grant into filming with me 😅 I told him that it's not going to be nearly as legitimate coming from me as it is from an actual dentist! I'm glad you agree ☺️💗
I think there must be different charcoal types cuz I use a charcoal powder. It’s very fine...and not gritty or abrasive at all! AND IT WORKS!! 😁
Solid advice, definitely not a channel that I’ve ended up on. Honestly though when I want too know about certain things, especially comparing products, it’s always channels like yours that give the best advice. So I’m not a subscriber because topics like this aren’t in my main viewing preferences, but I really appreciate all you guys taking the time too make good, informative content. Now when I go too buy whitening strips I’ll spend the $40-50 and get results instead of wasting it on the equate brand lol. Big thumbs up and I’ll subscribe because you guys kept me from wasting money lol
I’m happy I found this before I started my teeth whitening journey! Thanks for the advice!
I use Colgate Sensitive whatever. Sara, I have sensitive teeth too. Thank you soooooooo much. I have a dentist. I took after my mom's side of the family, my teeth are really bad. I"ve had 3 root canals and a ton of cavities.
My teeth are so sensitive, & I hate it. Thankfully I've learned to make them less sensitive by using sensitive toothpaste & cutting down on my whitening treatments. I'm sorry to hear about your root canals & cavities- sometimes there's just nothing you can do to prevent them 😟 I'm glad you found an awesome dentist who you trust & who takes great care of your mouth 😁 I love hearing from you as always Michelle 💗
@@TheStyleBlog My dentist says to use Listerine (the purple one), because it's the only mouth wash with flouride. I should double check to make sure the Colgate I'm using has flouride.
I use sensodyne true white toothpaste and so far my teeth has been stay white and not sensitive anymore.
And once I get them nice and white what could I do to maintain that other than of course regularly brushing? 😅
Thanks for the video! I was wondering if you could share with us what toothpaste you use or what you would recommend for daily use?
Cost-effective: Crest white strips (10% hydrogen peroxide) + Sensodyne (reduce sensitivity)
Expensive: Zoom Teeth Whitening (25%-40% hydrogen peroxide, better protection for your gum, fast)
Crest stripes are obliviously so bad for your teeth. You can get really sensitive teeth
How
I’m not even surprised the Crest strips is their favorite because it actually works.
I know it's cool and black (believe me I love black) but be aware of those side effects
having sensitive teeth feels like nails on a chalkboard and a bit of pain, that’s my best way to describe it
@@fvckitmx that sounds unpleasant
jcm00 it is hahaha
You should have your husband make you bleaching trays from your current molds and then use desensitizing gel in the trays such as UltraEZ, 3% potassium nitrate, .11% fluoride to reduce your sensitivity as your postules are exposed during the whitening process forming sensitivity within the roots.
This dood is super chill, he sounds like he's from Texas or Alabama. "We love spending the afternoon with you." You spent 7 minutes with us. :D
Ima need someone to tell me if this works
"Let's bad mouth loads of products and hype up one particular one". If this isn't a "silent" ad, I don't know what is.
Hey Hutch, as we very clearly stated in the video & description, this video is in no way sponsored. It would be illegal to accept payment or product in exchange for an advertisement & not disclose that. We truly just wanted to share our favorite whitening products. We also weren't "bad mouthing." We were simply explaining how each product has its own set of pros & cons to help you make a more informed decision. If you don't agree with our product recommendations, you're free to move on to another video!
r/wooooooooooosh
This negative attitude towards everything has to go, I use to be like that and I realised that it was a waste of time and a loss of opportunities.
Crest white strips made my teeth very sensitive long term and I only used them once or twice.
Amazing video, love the tips. Grant looks so charming, kind and compassionate. He makes me forget the usual fear that going to a dentist implies. As for me I prefer the last tip. I Will rather go to a dentist and let him conduct my teeth whitening process. My mouth is not a lab where I will try various chemicals to see what works lol. Thanks for the video.
You mentioned Opalescence, carbamide peroxide, and crest. Sounded like your opinion was biased towards use crest.
Me: bout to make a comment about being a smoker.
Y'all: calling me out immediately 😐😐😐
I felt this im a smoker too
Thanks for the info🤙
Can you drink coffee while using crest strips ?
How often do you need to use them?
Thanks
Thanks I love how you started with the do nots
Thanks so much Enmanuel! Glad we could help!
I feel good for watching this video before trying anything else. Who knows what would've happened to my teeth if I tried those "miracle" methods
So glad this was helpful! Thanks for watching!
These weren’t really “at home” options. What about baking soda? Peroxide?
They were all “at home” options.
Will whitening strips make white spots on teeth worse or will it make them less noticeable?
This was really helpful, I’ve been struggling with stained teeth for a while so I can’t wait to try this
so,how was it?
Are the Crest White Strips okay to use if you have receding gums?
Is that safe to use braking soda and lime mixture for teeth whitening?this method we see on TH-cam most of the time
May I ask what everyday toothpaste you recommend for me and my family.?
This was all such great and helpful information.
Love to see you and Grant together in your videos! :-)
Thank you so much!!! I always enjoy hearing from you ☺️
Great tips in the vid. No mention of using baking soda though?
thank you so much for this video I watched it a month back and have had amazing results whitening my teeth I am unable to use the White strips every day but every other day has really worked for me the process is taking a little bit longer but nonetheless it’s working I have implemented the Sensodyne which really helps with zinging in addition got the crest gum detox toothpaste I do plan on getting my next dental check up next month so I will probably ask about the opal escence and see what my hygienist says
I feel like you summarized the video pretty well (I did watch it) with product advice for sensitive teeth. I appreciate that! I’ve actually had a tooth appear to crack the enamel? It’s been 10yrs since I’ve tried strips and I’m sure they’ve improved since then.
Real talk... where did you get that handsome man? I’m waiting for the full review
The wife is gorgeous!
They're a great looking couple!
TheStyleBlog Oh okay tell Grant I said thank you! I’ll definitely talk to my dentist when I go back next month. Thank you so much Sara!!❤️😊 I’m so excited to get them off and see my smile!😁
Use Sensodyne BEFORE whitening, then use after for several days if you have very sensitive teeth like I do.
Just wondering if it's safe and effective to use the Crest Whitestrips on teeth that have been bonded???
Hi 👋 how are you doing?
Worryingly I just went to look for the crest strips only to discover they are banned in the UK!
I am so glad you’re back 💖💖
Thank you Megan! Me too ☺️❤️
I have seen lots of reviews regarding using hydrogen peroxide on teeth. Some just apply with q-tip and others via mixing with tooth paste. Would u recommend this?
I'm just wondering how I'm supposed to do the hydrogen peroxide😅
You two willing to experiment? Try the crest 3D with the at home light. I used to use the strips when I would get in the tanning bed 😬🙈 and I swear it lightened so much fast!
Thank you so much for saving my teeth!!!
So glad we could help ☺️💜
Which toothpaste is better?
Thanks for the vid! I had no idea whitening toothpastes were bad for you 😦
Thanks so much Ines! Honestly I didn't either until we were filming this & Grant says, "Wait, this is the toothpaste you use? I didn't know that. Let's find a different toothpaste for you." 🤪 I'm glad it was helpful 💗
@@TheStyleBlog so is optic white colgate bad for teeth?
Thank you for sharing this information! Would these crest white strips help at ALL if I was exposed to tetracycline as a child and my teeth never were really white. They always have had a discoloration no matter how much I brushed them. Any suggestions!
Awesome video! You guys had great tips and were super helpful! Thank you so much keep up the great content! much love!❤❤🤟🏼
I purchased the Crest Whitening Therapy Charcoal with Crest 3D White Glamorous White Alcohol Free
I brush two to three times a day but oftentimes I brush twice I try to brush as often as I could I’ve noticed a bit of improvement but not as much some portion of my teeth has gotten whiter sparingly but the rest are still strikingly yellowish perhaps I should’ve buy a charcoal brush.
Just added all these recommendations to my cart. 😂 Whiter teeth coming soon! 🦷
Yesss! You go girl 😅 The white strips make a world of difference!!! 😁💗
Does peroxide work? Heard rumors about it damaging your enamel, but only if you don’t dilute it with water. Does the dentist have a perspective on this?
