When using sensitivity toothpaste as you suggested, can you incorporate a whitening mouthwash as well? I'm not sure if using a mouth wash together with a sensitive teeth toothpaste (pre, during, post) would interfere with other active ingredients in the toothpaste making it less effective.

The Light systems don't do much beyond the first day. They give the appearance of whiter teeth for 24 hours because they dry the tooth (and thus customers will intially be happier). After that first day the diff between normal whitening and the light whitening is nil.

Hello Zarrin! Thank you for following! White spots can occur for various reasons. They may present as areas of hypermineralization that occurred during tooth development. There are dental procedures that use materials to help reduce the appearance of these spots. Perhaps your dentist can advise.

Hi Matthew, try using Sensodyne Extra fresh toothpaste, it helps with teeth sensitivity and whitens the teeth also. But if you want to achieve a pearly white teeth over a short period, use the CREST 3D whitening strip(20 days treatment). Brush with sensodyne toothpaste 30mins before applying the strips, it helps prevent sensitivity and in less than 2weeks, you would start seeing visible difference. i hope you find this helpful.

Very helpful. Do the 3D crest whitening strips are they damaging to the enamel or is the only downside sensitivity? Does it cause permanent damage? I just wanted to know a little bit more about the side effects

Arianna Mendoza hello! I’m so glad you found the video helpful. Crest White strips are not damaging to enamel. They work by breaking apart the stains and returning the teeth to their brighter potential. Temporary sensitivity is a common side effect and can be minimized by using a sensitivity toothpaste.

@@DrBrigitteWhite Hello! I have a question. My enamel is already heavily damaged - ten of my teeth at the front have noticeable transparent areas. Would you still give the okay on wrest whitening strips or do you think it'd be better if I went to a dentist to get my teeth professionally whitened?

So crest 3d white strips are actually okay to use as long as I use a toothpaste for sensitivity before, during, and after treatment? I REALLY want to whiten my teeth but I also REALLY don't want to damage them or cause too much sensitivity or enamel loss. I've heard good things about the strips and bad things and I can't decide whether I should try them or not.

@@fakefakefake7952 omg I have no idea, sorry. I've never tried them, I was trying to ask her a question but I'm sure you can find a yt video on how to apply them! Sorry, I can't help! But good luck! She was just talking about if you use those strips, u need to use a toothpaste for sensitivity daily, like sensodine, so it can help prevent increased sensitivity in ur teeth. Does the box have directions? Let me know how it goes and whether u like it please!

I just started using the whitening strips. I've seen a bit of change and im on day 2 now. But basically they are designed to be safe for your teeth if you use them correctly. They do not harm your enamel if you use them as the instructions tell you to. And also to add to it when you start doing whitening strips, its often recommended avoiding foods and drinks like coffee, chocolate sodas etc because they could cause staining or some harm, because the way the whitening strips work is that they basically penetrate a layer of your tooth into the enamel and then they chemically whiten the enamel of your tooth. So basically for a little time after using the strips, foods like soda and coffee can get into your teeth more easily and could potentially cause staining and erosion, so it is recommened that you stay away from those. You can find a list of all the types of foods you should avoid and what not to do after using them. But other than that, as long as you use them as instructed your teeth will be just fine. They might not work as well for everyone but for me they seem to be working great!

Hello. Thank you for your advice/help! So the crest white strips are just a milder version of the in office teeth whitening with hydrogen peroxide. I was terrified of using the crest white strips, considering I heard differently. I have chronic dry mouth, extremely bad! I get white bacteria at the back of my tongue and a little forward which causes bad breath.😣 What do you recommend your clients to rid of bacteria on the tongue? I brush it off daily and it returns quickly! What do you suggest to rid of dry mouth with which I believe is causing this bacteria. My dentist do not have answers. Any natural remedies your aware of? Thank you so much! I look for your reply.
