Very practical, I used to mark the attendance in a traditional way, either have my students type their names in the chatbox before living the meet or take some screenshots that take a lifetime to be entered in a separate spreadsheet lol.. Thanks for helping me save time (y)

Thank you so much! I was struggling trying to take attendance throughout the class period. Not having a record was challenging as I couldn't later look to see who may have joined after I began teaching. This is awesome!

Thank you! Very, very helpful.. .This will take a lot of the manual work of monitoring attendance out of the equation for me, which was taking up too much time in the remote class setting. Can't fake it, they have to show up and stay, because it is being "recorded" by the time stamps. Love it. Merci!

This is a huge help with online lessons - one less thing for me to worry about. Something else that would be REALLY helpful, would be to be able to disable the chat feature. My students get very distracted typing on that when they should be listening to the lesson.

I would also like Google to send to all members of the Classroom "Meet Link" of the Classroom as the default meeting location when we choose send them calendar invite via the Classroom. That will help the teacher in NOT labouring through a distribution list while sending an invite

Thank you for all of your advices and tutorials. Just one question. Is it (and if, how) possible someone plans a meeting for me to host it on a certain date? To be specific - secretary will plan a meeting for 30 participants and I will be the speaker/teacher on that meeting (sharing my presentations, teaching those 30 participants...etc...). Thanks a lot in advance.

Do you have a tutorial on the Visual Effects Extension for Meet? On my MacBook the Green Screen option just does not seem to work at all, though the blur and pixellizing options do. On Zoom, it's so much easier, alas...
