This is a great web app with collaboration. Thanks. In my situation I do not need collaboration so I prefer to use Openboard, then share my screen. In the rare case that I need someone to use the whiteboard I would just give control although probably a bit slower. At the end depends on what the requirements are and then choose the right tool. Subscribed, we need more videos like this.

Such a wonderful resource! Thank you for sharing! My only question is whether students can see each other's answers which would, of course, lead to copying rather than thinking for themselves? If so, is there a work-around that you know of? I teach firsties.

thank you so much for the information and turorial! I wonder whether there is an online shared whiteboard which teachers can see the whole process of students writing something on the board? I am teaching Mandarin online and the writing session is not efficient as I can only see the final writing but not the order of strokes which is so important in Mandarin. Thanks again!

Again...thanks for explaining all the classroom tools so clearly. I have one problem with the whiteboard...the drop-down list of the whiteboard....freezes and takes a lot of space on my screen. Also...to type text ...that's what I need to use...am teaching french...is not particularly efficient. When I click on A to write a text..I get a small window on the whiteboard...and have to fiddle around to get it bigger....to you have any other suggestion for a whiteboard that I don't need to share...but where typing text is the most important tool? For questions, is there any copy-paste option? Also, is there any typing option as students would be bored of writing answers using paintbrush kind of thing.
I am a complete fan of yours. You are the best teacher on the Internet! I am a physician (Latin for "teacher" so I'm hopeful of your assistance). I'm using Google Sites to create a non-profit emotional health resources page (I'm a psychiatrist). I am starting with music. In particular, I have been a collector of music that might have a specific therapeutic impact, either to highlight problems or facilitate change. As such I have a complex problem of sorting and navigating this complex area.
I have many components of Framework/Context, Condition-specific options, plus, I have also long been a fan of David Burns, M.D. who has a list of common self-defeating beliefs, the importance of Testing, Empathy, and then a long list of "methods" for change. Each will require explanation, but for the resources themselves, I was considering the use of "Awesome Table" despite it's $60/mo price tag. I'm not a programmer so I'd sure like to follow your lead on something this complicated. First, I'd love to know if there is something less expensive, but if not, I'm thinking I need to keep track of and sort for:
The performer(s)
Likely a background picture of them
The date of publication (I like the date range of awesome table for narrowing down to the late teens, early 20's of our lives)
The various therapeutic themes (framework, conditions, self-defeating beliefs, testing, empathy, methods)
Typically a youtube video of their performance (although maybe just audio)
The lyrics, (perhaps chords if permission is granted)
Preferred ways to contribute to the artists
Geographically, their home base would be fun to have
Professional commentary for that selection
Public commentary about how the piece might have touched them
And finally, ways to share these resources with those in need via email or other social networks.

If possible please do share the settings where we can restrict our students not to record lectures. Secondly advice for easy writing for mathematics, as it is not so easy to write with free hand using whiteboard.
Thanks for the video. I'm looking to make TH-cam videos where I record the screen of the laptop and show handwriting and handwritten equations for explanations and tutorials. Which is the best whiteboard for that in your opinion? Also, I assume I will need a pen and tablet for that as well, which one is the right one in your opinion? (I use a MacBook Air, in case that changes things). Thank you for sharing.
