can you please do a video on QR codes for dummies, so I can understand
It is very useful, thank you. Do I find it in QR CODE way, for example, by giving my students the QR CODE slip and I scan it with my phone?
Love the video man! I just want to know if it is possible to make the students data (names / IDs ) be drained from a another google sheets? If so, the students can be specific to a certain period ?
An example would be, the teacher selecting a period (example: G1), than a specific group of students ( the G1 student group) shows up to register attendance.
That would help me immensely, but even so, your video was amazing anyway!

What do i type in the date command when i only use the days wednesday and thursdays? so i start on wednesday?

Could we use this system where the students still submit their attendance? I am a Barber instructor and need to log hours for them I treat them as if it were a job, so they are responsible for clocking in and out at the beginning and end of class. Could you help? I use the qr code system, however, it's the sheets that look a mess. I need help streamlining that data.

To create a clock-out time, just duplicate the app - one for clocking in, the other for clocking out

hello hash, I am having a problem in 9:28 to 9:45 ...... first I didnt understand how did the dollar signs appear themselves in B2 and AC ..... second is when I do ,0 in the end .... for me the present/absent just disappears... they dont come... IDK whats the problem.... pls help me ASAP
Hi, the dollar signs appear because I clicked the F4 key on my keyboard when the cursor was in that part of the formula. The F4 key toggles those dollar signs. I think on Mac it's Function + F4 but I'm not really sure.
For the ,0 problem, the only reason it would do that is if the names don't match perfectly. The ,0 is required otherwise you'll get mismatched information, but you need to make sure that the name in both tabs are exactly the same.

But over the next few weeks I have some alternatives that get away from QR codes because they worked great during the pandemic, but they have some flaws we need to avoid! These alternative (non-QR) methods are easier to set up and most teachers will be able to adapt very easy with them with little-to-no tech knowledge when things go wrong! Stay tuned!
