Great video as always. Some of my friends don't want smoke flavour, so what mode do you suggest for this. I don't want to use Grill cuz you can't dial in the temp and cook low and slow like you can with the Smoke setting. Or, do I just use the smoke setting and leave out the pellets? Thanks for your help.
Can I do severral whole racks of spare ribs on this rack or just baby backs? I have the XL and I did two racks of spare ribs one at a time and it was rediculously too long. Or do you have another suggestion for doing two racks at once without the rack? Saw something in the comments about stacking but never heard of it.
Looks like the key is to flip those racks during the cook, and they did end up looking pretty good. I hand used the Kinders seasoning and a friend turned me onto one of their bbq sauces and it was good too
Have you tried the stacking method? I have used it on my weber charcoal grill with a stack of three partial racks of ribs. I rotated them about every twenty minutes or so for at least three hours and they came out moist and tender. Haven't tried it on the Ninja yet.
I’m from the UK and was wondering are the temperatures you’re showing on your machine in Fahrenheit or centigrade? Also, I’ve been using the probe a lot, but I find it overcooked the meat and dries it out. How do you program this without the probe?
I use Fahrenheit, but I try to share the temps in Centigrade too. I don’t use the probe much, I prefer to use my Bluetooth or instant read thermometers.
Awesome as awlays CJ. You're my main goto channel for all things woodfire grill and bbq. You're making me consider making ribs for the family when they visit now. I doubt it, but do you know if the rack will fit in the standard woodfire grill?
Great videos, C.J.! I've learned so much. You recommend the stand-alone probe thermometer. Have you found the Woodfire thermometer inadequate? Got the Costco Back Ribs going now! [Key song, "Anticipation"]
Mmmmmmm, Those ribs looked really delicious. It's getting a little cold here in Preskitt for outdoor smoking but I still might give them a try. Will that rack work in the standard woodfire grill? Take care and stay safe in the I.E.
Quick tip- I hate cleaning the plate. Everything I cook that doesn’t depend on contact with the plate, I put a piece of foil down under the rack. The grease can still drain, much easier to just throw the foil out.
Thanks CJ. Great looking ribs. Have a great new year. Looking forward to your 2024 videos. 👍
Thanks you!! Cheers
Looks like that rack works great, as long as you remember to flip. Beautiful ribs👍😊
Hey thanks Bobbi! Happy New Year!
Those look fantastic CJ! Awesome year , can’t wait to see more bangers in 2024! Happy New Year’s to you and Mrs CJ. Cheers brother 🥃🍻🥂🎊🎉
Thanks brother! Cheers!
I could see Ninja doing a stand alone smoker. As soon as you buy one product they release an upgrade or new device that you want to get. Lol
It’s like the iPhone, always something new. I haven’t heard anything from them on anything Woodfire related coming though.
Does one round of filling the smoke box give enough smoke flavor
Yes it’s plenty
How often did you refill the pellets?
Nice attachment, cool that you can get 4 racks on there. 😎🔥🍻
Yessir!
My brother loves his Uncle Steve's spices I sent him for his birthday! thanks for the pro-tip!
Awesome!
welcome back has not been the same without you to teach us
Thank you!
Quick question... Do you keep refilling the pellets or just fill it the one time and let it run?
Just once and let it roll
does that rack fit on the original woodfire grill?...or only the xl?
Nah just the XL

If you don’t have the bake or roast setting, then you can use the smoke setting without pellets

Looks delicious 😋 yum
Thank you!
Killer racks...Happy New Year! 🎉🔥
Thanks Brother!

Yeah for sure. Thanks and Hapoy New Year!
Also, is apple cider vinegar appropriate for spritzing?
Yes if you like it use it.
cool review, mine is being delivered today (UK), are you topping up the smoker pellets throughout the cook?
Thank you! No usually just burn one cup of pellets.
My first time watching. Have you used the probs that already come with it? I have the woodfire pro connect xl
Yeah they work good enough, but I like my Thermopro products so I use them on my cooks for the most part.
Looks amazing!! Did you add another cup of pellets or just one cup only? Happy New Year's!
Thank you! Used only one cup. Happy New Year!
They look great. Love your videos.
Does this rib rack fit in the original ninja grill
* Original grill does not have the height
No it doesn’t. Just the XL
CJ the baby back ribs look really good happy new year brother 💪🥃
Thanks brother! Happy new year!
Those looks great, how many rounds of smoke did you do?
Just one. Thanks!
Would the rib rack fit in the Ninja Woodfire oven?
Nah, it's just for the XL grill.
Hi can I use this same technique for slow and low on my regular Ninja Woodfire?
Yes definitely
People knock the Ninja pellets but they are actually made by Bear Mountain.
, But it's the individual pellets they chose that are pretty nasty in most peoples opinion. Other bear mountain may be fine
I don’t have a problem with them. I dig them. But I use any pellets that I feel like. Don’t really try to stick with one brand or flavor.
They are not good quality.. Royal oak charcoal Pellets and Kingsford make the best! They were around the cookout when I was 6 in 1972 😂
That is a very nice looking rib cook. The results are awesome. Hope you have a Happy New Year. Cheers, CJ! 👍🏻👍🏻✌️
Hey Happy New Year brother! Cheers
When you use one fill of pellets and it runs out? Will it continue cooking ?
Yes it will
Have you tried the stacking method? I have used it on my weber charcoal grill with a stack of three partial racks of ribs. I rotated them about every twenty minutes or so for at least three hours and they came out moist and tender. Haven't tried it on the Ninja yet.
Nah I haven't. It's possible in the woodfire for sure.
Another sweet blade! Glad I found your channel!
Thank you!

Thank you!! No that rack is only for the XL
Look awesome.Got two slabs in freezer.Out they come!!
Awesome!
Does this rack fit in the original ninja woodier grill? the non XL model.
No it doesn’t. Not sure if they made one for the original yet.
Does flipping affect the flavor or just the color?
Just the color. Just wanted to even it out.
Got racks, on racks, on racks!
Yes!!
How much water to pineapple juice do you use for the spritz? I want to try this recipe out on my NJW XL! 😊
Usually 1 part juice to 4 parts water.
What do you prefer for taste in the Ninja, wrap or no wrap for ribs?
I think the wrapped is better. Little more tender and you add more flavor to it.
Heck yeah CJ those are some good looking racks of ribs! I had no idea ninja makes a smoker! Rock on dude!
They actually make two. Double check to make sure you get the right one. I believe CJ is using the larger one.
Yes this is the XL grill.
Thanks Jeff! This is the XL Woodfire grill. I would go with it if you’re trying to make a decision on which one to get.
Great videos, C.J.! I've learned so much. You recommend the stand-alone probe thermometer. Have you found the Woodfire thermometer inadequate? Got the Costco Back Ribs going now! [Key song, "Anticipation"]
Thanks! I just like my Thermopro thermometers. The ninja thermometer works good enough.
Low & slow . Always spritz when using pellet smoker. Always.
Did you use just one smoker box worth of pellets for the whole time?
Yeah, normally only use one batch of pellets. Gives it enough smoke.
Any racks like this for the normal size ninja?
Not that I know of.
Would this rack fit on the regular Ninja Wood fired grill
How many pelets you went through?
One cup.
Looks deicious.
Thank you!
4 and half hours. Did you had to refill the pellet box for smoke?
Nah, one cup was enough.
Mmmmmmm, Those ribs looked really delicious. It's getting a little cold here in Preskitt for outdoor smoking but I still might give them a try. Will that rack work in the standard woodfire grill? Take care and stay safe in the I.E.
Hey thanks, nah it's just for the XL. Have a good one.
Good looking ribs CJ.
Thanks brother!
Lay a piece of foil on top until the last hour
Would love to see you do smoked pulled chicken breast!
I'll add it to the list.
I'm going to be smoking some oxtail in mine later this week, see how that gets on.
Let me know. I’ve been trying to find some around me and do a video on it.
Ribs look amazing but sadly ninja don't do a non XL version of the rack.
Yeah I couldn’t find one for the OG.
Tried to add a pic but mine were great!!
Right on!
Four-rib-rack, easy for you to say 🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂
Your knife looks like a Klingon weapon 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
lol! Love it
Small brisket like a 4lb
Can you try making a whole duck? I can’t find many videos on TH-cam of anyone trying it
I’ll work on it. Thanks!
I'm surprised there's enough headspace clearance to use that rib rack.
Yep. It’s perfect for the XL.
Quick tip- I hate cleaning the plate. Everything I cook that doesn’t depend on contact with the plate, I put a piece of foil down under the rack. The grease can still drain, much easier to just throw the foil out.
Great tip! thanks
Have you done duck yet?
Not yet, it's tough for me to find at my local market. But it's one the list.
Is the smoke amount simply relative to a person's taste? If I wanted to smoke for the entire cook is that too much for the ninja
I think it might be a lot, but part of the fun is experimenting. Give it a shot.
How often did you refill the pellets?
Just one cup is enough.
