  • Hey All,
Finally got to do a comparison video Ninja Woodfire vs Kamado Grill.
My vote is a Kamado Grill, but have to say Ninja did a good job cooking ribs, wouldn't say it smoked them, more like an oven type ribs. Its a good little grill.
Let me know in the comments what else would you like me to compare on both Grills.
Take a look at the Unboxing of Ninja Grill too

Now add cost wise , how much coal cost , and how much power you used on ninja, and pellets , will be good to see that also

Could you do a vid on which Pellets work best in your experience, Ninja ones seem expensive but it would be great to know what else is out there in UK

      Depends what Smoker/Grill you have?
Personally i would do it on my Kamados, but definitely would try Ninja, knowingly that Kamado will give more smoke flavor.
Also personal opinion that beef joints more for oven cooking, as they are very lean. But worth a try on charcoal too.

@@LARRYGBBQGUY Good morning Larry . We have a minimo and the limited, no Ninja’s in this house. We have cooked very lean pork with great success, but want to try Beef with Hickory and some fruit wood. Not sure of the rub though, Would you say similar times to pork ?
      Thanks Mel.

Nice video. If you can get hold of a different brand of pellets you may improve the results from the ninja. Their own pellets are “not good” to put it mildly. Even then it’s not going to out perform a live fire.

      Thanks for watching,
Matter of fact ive run out of their pellets already, so definitely will try different brands.
Live fire and charcoal is the way

@@LARRYGBBQGUY I’d say the ninja exceeds expectations.

its definitely good electric grill, as no other electric grill can offer so much

Thanks for the video! The ninja wood pellets are very substandard. I would guess they are about 30% actual hardwood. If you use something like Kona pellets or other high quality pellets, you get a much stronger and more flavorful smoke flavor!

thank you for watching, i did notice, couple of days ago i did some chicken thighs, i filled the pellet hopper with wood chips and slightly topped with pellets, and got better flavour results.

@@bas4241 the only thing was, without topping up with pellets, there was a flame, as soon as topped with pellets it did stop flame stopped.
