I made this recipe yesterday, first time making ribs myself. I still have to step up my sauce game but the meat came out absolutely perfect, so thank you very much!
I get horrendously bad residue from the ninja pellets too, from both the all purpose blend and robust blend. Glad it's not just me as I couldn't find anything about it online haha, it was reaching the point where the residue was making my smokebox get stuck in the unit or the smokebox door would be stuck down and need a fair bit of force to open it. Ninja said it's not normal and that I probably just had a bad batch or too much humidity in my area (not really avoidable in the UK though), but I've tried 3 different bags of all purpose and it's happened with all of them to some degree. Just ordered some sample packs from the pellet man and looking forward to trying them instead
Hi. Did one round of pellets last the whole 1st 90 minutes of smoking or did you have to refill the pellet chamber at some point? I heard they only last about 30 to 40 minutes.
Thanks for the response. Just so I'm clear (smile), - you leave it on the smoke setting for the full 90 minutes, even after the pellets have turned to ash?
If you had other meats or things to cook on the grill for say a larger than family gathering how would you go about reheating the ribs or pulled meats or whatever ?
Great video. Mouthwatering ribs. You mention your umami oomph? powder 2:59 but no follow up…. Just got a ninja for the coming summer and was hoping it’s a recipe you can share?
I'm happy to hear you use the standard size. I can't afford the xl and thought I would regret having the standard size. Looks like you have no problems!
No more pellets added. The ninja gives you a nice smoke without being over powering. At around 60c meat tends to stop taking on as much smoke so adding more pellets won't change much anyway
Hi Tom it’s good to see you are using the wood fire I’m thinking of getting one but I’m a little bit concerned about cleaning the fan as yours is getting very greasy with little use is there a easy way to do it great channel by the way Regards Wayne
I've seen people used hot soapy water on a pan with the ninja on full wack and it steams the grease you can then clean it but it's never 100% clean. If your on Facebook there are a couple of good groups on there full of die hard fans they could probably shed some more light. facebook.com/groups/953923025988778/?ref=share facebook.com/groups/ninjawoodfireuk/?ref=share
@@BBQLIFE they were amazing! Did a dry one and a wet one and they were both so good. Couldn't pick which one I liked more, thanks for the recipe, it's a keeper!
Honestly that seems like so much work.. I have an instant pot, and just throw the ribs in there on high pressure for 25min, then take them out, put them on a baking sheet, put bbq sauce on them, and broil them in the oven for 5min and they are perfect and falling off the bone. I just got the Ninja grill for my birthday, it that rib smoking seems like 4x longer of a job than the already perfect instant pot method..
Can't cook won't cook, however followed the instructions to the letter and wow, the ribs were gorgeous and cooked to perfection
Glad you are happy

Glad I could help
If ribs are falling off the bone they are overdone. You might as well just cook pork shoulder.
Totally depends what you want some people want there ribs only falling off the ribs. Personally I do prefer a nice bite through

Steve is a top guy I never have any issues with his stuff
My pellet box sticks too. I normally thump it a couple of times to get it open.

They last around the 30 to 40 minute mark. I have never added another scoop though and find it's enough smoke

@MyYvFr yes the smoke setting let you cook at a lower temperature than other settings.
Easy....and they look amazing!!!
Dam good ribs these!!

I would cook in advance double wrap in foil and towels to keep warm. Them cook the shorter cook time foods
@BBQLIFE cheers pal ill give it a go, ribs on the go as we speak 😬

Great video Tom, and who thought you could cook fall of the bone ribs in 2.5 hours! Thanks for the shout out on the Pellets 🙏
Super quick
I have the xl version of the woodfire grill which doesnt have a bake setting would would be its alternative please i have grill air fry and roast
I'd use roast but turn down the temp

Oomph powder is not currently for sale. Its something I may go back in tbe future. Glad you enjoyed the recipe
Can I use wood chips for blending instead of pellets?
No I don't believe its safe to do so
@@BBQLIFE Many thanks
I have used chips from the grocery store and also simply cut up dry dead oak limbs with pliers and they all work perfectly fine.
Thanks for the info
Just bought a Ninja wood fire gril makin these first. Cheers
Enjoy
Do you use the standard woodfire or xl version?
Standard
I'm happy to hear you use the standard size. I can't afford the xl and thought I would regret having the standard size. Looks like you have no problems!
Standard
It's great
Did you add more pellets throughout the cooking time? If not, how was the smoke taste? What is pronounced smoke flavor or barely a smoke flavor?
No more pellets added. The ninja gives you a nice smoke without being over powering. At around 60c meat tends to stop taking on as much smoke so adding more pellets won't change much anyway
This was wonderful to see.
Cheers 🍺

Very nice good cook
Cheers
I was gonna say that at 100 degrees, that won't cook jack. But then I figured out you are using Celsius not Fahrenheit!😂
Uk buddy 🇬🇧👍🏻🔥🍺
My ninja arrived yesterday, making ribs later today
Enjoy

1:43 or you can use some shears or scissors. LOL Much easier!
Disagree lol

An insta pot will not smoke.
I've done Instant Pot ribs, and they aren't even remotely close to Ninja Woodfire ribs. I'll NEVER do them in the Instant Pot again.
Nope.
That is aluminum foil. It is not tin
Same difference 🤣
@michaelmally7288 JFC man everybody knows what it's made of, and everybody calls it tinfoil. Pedantic much?
Everybody calls at tinfoil we know it’s aluminum foil lol
