As someone who did nothing with her skin until I found you this year, this 53 year old woman is incredibly grateful to you. You made me appreciate myself and take care of myself more. Thankyou, please don’t stop
I'm 45 and have the same experience 😊 I also appreciate your videos very much, you make skincare relatable and educational. I loved your L'Oréal video. I've started caring for my skin more because of your videos and you've made the ingredients more understandable. I value your opinion ❤
As someone who is plus size and has a 10+ year history with anorexia, thank you for addressing weight loss the way you did. I don’t expect everyone to tiptoe around triggers but there’s a way to be a respectful person❤
As someone who has been plus size my entire life and struggling for 55 years to drop pounds, I agree. I appreciate how respectful James speaks about weight. Many blessings to you💖💖💖
Yes! I lost a lot of weight from being sick and people’s reactions were so unhelpful. Especially as someone in recovery from an ed, I hate to think how the comments would’ve affected me only a few years before. I really appreciate anyone who can talk about this stuff sensibly!!!
James, please make more videos like this where you just talk about your random thoughts while doing your routine. Your magnetic personality really shines through. So sorry to hear of your health issues, it sounds like you really turned your health around. Wish you all the best.
I appreciate that you let us know you have a researcher and a script writer. You have put together an awesome team! Ultimately the presentation and final say is your sole responsibility and you consistently deliver entertaining and quality videos.
I’m extremely happy to hear that the weight loss is due to a positive change in your life. When your last few Welsh Twins videos came out, I noticed a change in you (not just weight loss). You were a lot more calm. I know it sounds pathetic since I don’t know you personally, but I genuinely caught myself worrying about you while just going about my day. You being so open and willing to share this information with your followers is greatly appreciated…at least from me. P.S. I CARE!!!!! And I know I’m not the only one! You are amazing and I’m proud of you!!!!
There's a point where, skinny or not, it becomes all about those numbers, BP, A1C, and cholesterol. Nutrition is so important. Forget what the health influenzas say. 😄 I am SO SO glad that you've found a happy healthy! 🥰 Thank you for sharing your journey. 💙
SIR that title better be clickbait. I cant deal with a mental breakdown rn. I need you, James😂 my face has never been better since I found you and Robert💜🖤
I loved how raw and authentic this video was, and gave me a little insight to you and your vulnerabilities (if that’s the right word 🤔) sometimes when you see people laughing and smiling all the time you forget that they’re probably struggling with similar stuff to you. It’s so lovely to hear how much healthier and happier you are.
I like being educated by you and your brother on stuff you guys are fun and make it interesting. I use to the those period videos of like skincare in ancient Egypt and shit. Loved that! The old school get ready w me and 80s commercials. Fun. 😂
So pleased to hear your health is improving, I had noticed your weight loss and was a bit worried and hoping you were okay. My mum has just been diagnosed with colon cancer (yesterday) so it’s a scary time right now… but she’s staying positive, and it’s a reminder we all need to make sure we get anything worrying checked out. I’m glad you’re still doing skincare content, I love the shorts you’ve done recently but also love your longer videos - my skin has improved so much since discovering your channel 💜💜💜💜
As someone who's been un your position (with her dad), I can 100% empathise with what you're going through. Sending much love to you and your mum, be kind to yourself ❤
Your whole vibe lately has been so zen 🧘 You are glowing and seem so grounded and calm. Something that has nothing to do with weight loss and everything with you feeling healthy and less stressed. So pleased for you! Good luck on your ongoing selfcare journey 🍀🫶🏼
Used to use L'Oreal hair + makeup in the 90s. It was a crusty, dusty time. Tragic. So, yeah thanks for your videos! 💅 My husband gives a heads up whenever there's new Welsh twin content. 🖤 Happy holidays 🖤 🦇 💀 🎃👻🖤
Thanks for sharing James. You're under no obligation to talk about your health, but I think when you share these stories and the information it can give a lot of encouragement to other people that struggle.
I have IBS, a neurological condition called Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome, and a hiatal hernia from the CVS episodes. This last year, I changed my diet and lifestyle, and not only have I lost a ton of weight (over 40lbs now), but ohhhh my GOD my GI issues are sooooo much better. What we eat really is SO important.
oh hey I have CVS too, it sucks but I never knew anyone else that had which made me feel really awkward and insecure about it when i was younger. it’s more manageable now but it’s comforting when i head someone else knows what cyclical vomiting syndrome is like
I'd be so curious if the fundoplication (hiatal hernia repair) could improve CVS given the main sign of a successful surgery is no ability to regurgitate/vomit outside of like norovirus level bad at least initially. I'd worry it could get weird with the neuro side of things, but as someone who had nonstop vomiting w a known cause that ended up w a hernia repair I hope y'all can get that relief too someday ❤
@@jacqueline4689That is a great question and I am curious too. I work as medical assistant for a general surgeon who does fundoplication for hiatal hernia and management of GERD.
Glad you feel like you’re thriving! It is so hard to prioritize our health, and there’s nothing quite like hitting the 30s for your body to start letting you know allllll about it. Congrats for listening to your body (and medical team)! 💚
thank you for being so raw and vulnerable. it’s so refreshing to see creators like yourself be real. also loving the commentary style vids!! glad you’re healthy and well 🖤
Love this off the cuff videos. Super unfiltered and just casual. Nice balance. I super value that you are committed to long-form content. We are haemorrhaging people off TH-cam long-form.
Globus is the worst. I had it for four months recently when I got hyperthyroidism. It's such a horrible sensation. For me it felt like this pressure all the time, like someone was squeezing my throat. I lost a bunch of weight too because I totally lost my appetite. Lots of people felt like the need to to comment on it and it just made me uncomfortable. I can't imagine being a public figure and having everyone constantly looking at your appearance. Thank for the honest chat, it's so lovely to hear an update on how you are. 😊
Thank you for your honesty and about your health journey. I’m approaching 70 years of age - my advice to anyone younger, be kind to yourself and be healthy. And… you are doing that! ❤
Thankyou for being so open and vulnerable James. Really brave thing to do and much appreciated I’m sure this has struck more cords and warmed more hearts than you realise
Hiiiiii! Haven't watched the video yet, I've noticed you losing weight, but felt kinda rude and inappropriate to comment something, so I'm glad you are updating us 💜
@JamesWelsh thank you for putting our minds at ease. I've been catching up on your podcast recently (pls pls pls consider resurrecting it 🥹🤞🏽) and when Robert mentioned intermittent fasting helped his IBS (and not living on toast and pizza 🤣,) I thought "oh let's have a bash" but holy fuck - it has helped SO much with my bloating and griping tummy pains, and ordered my disorder binge eating. Thank you for your content across the platforms, thank you for educating us on the overwhelming world of skincare, thank you for having such integrity when it comes to your sponsorships, and thank you for being a light in so many of our worlds 🫶🏽🌝☺️🌝🫶🏽
6:57 omg yes so accurate as someone who is plus sized I hate clothes shopping atm I dont want cropped anything I really dont want to be giving Homer Simpson chic. Im happy for 90s aesthetic but make it more for everyone. Also thanks for being so open with eating habits ❤️
In the 90s, I worked high end retail, so I wore a lot of pantsuits and things in flowy materials that gave coverage without being "old" for me. Crop tops and bike shorts on time off. You can go crop and wear high waisted pants, too.
James, you literally saved my mom’s life. It sounds dramatic, but she got bad advice and was using retinol morning and night. Destroyed her skin barrier (and we live in South Africa so she was out in the harsh sun) and she started getting sun spots. I’m a simple skincare gal but love your vibe so I often have your videos on for company while I work etc and managed to figure out the source of her problem from random things you’ve mentioned along the way. We have serious cancer issues in the family and if I didn’t know what you’ve taught me, it could be a life changing situation. Anyway, I sent her a bunch of your videos explaining everything and her skin is back to being normal. I appreciate the shit out of you 🫶🏻♥️
I literally started tearing up when you were talking about how unhealthy you were and how you just weren't feeling yourself anymore. I've been going through the exact same thing for the last few months to a year. My doctor can't figure it out I've had so many tests and Scopes done and she thinks it might just come down to stress and anxiety and poor diet for me as well. I also skip breakfast hardly eat lunch and have a huge issue with binge eating all night, I have my whole life. I too also have rosacea and get really bad pains in my side when I eat almost anything. Hearing you express that you've done the same and that you now feel so much better changing those things in your diet is really inspiring and is pushing me to feel like it's time for a change and time to take my heath into my own hands. Thank you for this update because it made me not feel so alone.❤
I have been watching you and Robert for years now. You two are the only people i trust in the beauty world. This video was honestly so wholesome. As much as your viewers understand how much you like to keep your private life and work life seperate, it was really nice to hear a little bit about you. Thank you
I found your channel during the pandemic and I'm so happy that I did. Before that my skin was awful! Now I'm 51 years old and my skin is doing so much better. Thank you for taking us on this youtube journey with you.
Good for you & Robert! You both have spoken about your health on your channels, and the persistent stomach issues. I wish you all the best in your journey!
Thank you for talking about your weight in a healthy way. I've struggled for 30 years, had bariatric surgery, and am now 6 years into eating disorder recovery. It's still a journey (and at times a battle), but my weight has finally stabilized now that I've stopped dieting. I've been through all the same diagnostic stuff as you and it's miserable. I'm glad you're coming out on the other side of it and feeling better.
Your story almost exactly matches mine. Colonoscopy and ensoscopy done last year, excruciating pain in my lower left abdomen but no diagnosis other than IBS and hiatial hernia causing GERD/acid reflux. I now eat better, eat earlier in the day and am 4.5 stone down, no longer needing surgery to fix the hernia either. One of the biggest changes I noticed was how much better my skin looks, helped massively by actually taking care of my skin on the outside too thanks to you
That’s wonderful! Glad nonsurgical intervention worked out so well for you. I’m saying this as a medical assistant for a general surgeon who performs fundoplication for management of GERD and hiatal hernia.
I lost 20+ lbs while I felt nauseous with IBS. In the US, the GI doctors wanted to just prescribe a pill rather than talk about lifestyle changes. An elimination diet helped me the most. It took 3 GI specialists and a 6+ month waitlist to finally get the help I needed. I’m glad you got the support you needed to recover and have taken steps to manage stress.
thank you for addressing the weight loss section in such a respectful way. i suffer with binge eating and have started my health journey. ironically, i love watching your videos when i'm at the gym! however, this time instead of all the fad diets, i have built a healthy relationship with the gym, and i am trying to build a healthy relationship with food, too. i am so happy for you and your health journey. never stop being you!!!
Wow, I'm surprised how much in common I have with your medical issues. I've lost a lot of weight in ten months, my stomach's always been pretty messed up, had an endoscopy which found an ulcer, had issues with night binges (Seroquel's fault - so glad to be off that stuff), and now at 32 after medication, lifestyle and diet changes, my rosacea is much better and I haven't felt this good (mentally and physically) since my early 20s! It truly is a small world. Glad you're doing better James! Cheers to our good health 🥂
James, SO good to hear you are feeling better and getting to know what your body needs. Its easy to slide into a rut when working, and even though we may feel like we're 25 in our heads... our bodies have other plans ;) Love the skincare & other videos you've put out over the yrs. I take good care of my skin, and have learned new things from watching your channel. Look forward to seeing what is down the road for you & your brother in regards to content. I can say, having been your age a lifetime ago ( I am 61) by taking care of yourself now you will be thanking yourself down the road. 😊😊
I got into skincare as a hobby instead of a chore because of you in the last few years. I love your investigative style videos as well as your skincare reviews and advice! I'm glad after a crappy year of doctor visits and cameras you're feeling all round better.
Thank you James for sharing your story. I think stress is the number one cause of health related issues. I took on too much stress in my 50s and by the time I hit 60, I have lots of health problems related to stress, chronic inflammation being the main problem. Oddly, that's how I ended up watching you and your brother. I can't handle the news so I turned to youtube. I love both of you. Your videos are informative, I' ve learned so much about skincare, makeup and the stories behind it. Plus you are both fun and calming; you two are my de stressors. Keep doing what you love. 💜
You introduced me to Korean skincare & using ingredients to benefit my skin & I can’t thank you enough. You changed the way I care for my own skin & made me infinitely better as a beauty therapist ❤
Bored eating is such a hard habit to break. Trying to figure out your IBS triggers is such a hard journey! I'm literally 11 years into it and still don't feel like I've got it right. Our bodies are such a mystery, and the journey to health is a lifelong slog.
I've been struggling with foof since I was a teen. I recently lost 35 lbs (unhealthily due to anxietyand depression) in a month and have been struggling to get myself back to normal. Im so glad you're doing well!
Also wanted to add that your channel really helped me re-set my skin care routine a few years back, you were the most important channel for sure, in part because now that im over 60 i finally have combination skin rather than flat out oily skin so all the advice for normal people about the transition from oily to combo in your late 20s was perfect for me!
Please keep the skincare stuff. It’s really helpful and you’re probably the only one I trust. (Since a few years, you helped me realise a product was actually bad for me. It helped me look at skincare very differently.)(I’m 46, never too late t learn about skincare) I also love your other videos. Well, I love everything really 😻
I do really like the long-form, researched content! I have been watching each weekend! I appreciate your neutral approach and how you are up-front about inserting your own thoughts/opinions. I am glad to hear your weight loss is a result of feeling better and more healthy! I have been working on some issues, as well, and if you are willing to talk more about your health journey, I would love to hear about it. Wishing for more success coming your way!
Please never leave us! You or your brother. Best twins on my TH-cam fyp. Also as far as weight loss goes I have lost 25 pounds this year so far! I’m hoping to lose another 11 pounds before the year ends and then I’ll be under 300 for the first time in 4 years
You and Jen Luc should do a collab on a deep dive / behind the controversy. She just did a 5 part series on James Charles that was fabulous . You two would make a great team
I have had crohn’s disease since i was 15, so i feel you when it comes to the stomach issues 💜 i’m glad you’re feeling better! i got a blood test to see what foods triggered my immune response (crohn’s is autoimmune) and it was so eye opening. random things like lettuce, plums, and lentils have been causing my immune system to attack my intestines and i had no idea! figuring out what your stomach can tolerate is definitely a process but changing your diet to meet your specific needs really does make a difference! thank you for being so open about your struggles 💜
i’ve been marathoning you, robert’s, and the twin channel for two weeks now and this scared me so bad lol. so happy to hear that your health has improved a lot and i appreciate how candidness and vulnerability ❤ i’m excited to see how your channel grows
James, thank you for sharing your story about your health issues. I also struggle with something similar and often am amazed at how much nutrition and digestion can play a part in one's life. Like, if you're just fine, eat whatever and not have any issues, you don't even think about it. But once it becomes a problem, it turns into a nightmare, cause no matter what you have to eat... And a lot of it is triggered by stress as well. And then you stress about your health and you get even worse and so on... After hearing you talk about it, I feel less alone. So thank you again ❤
I subscribed years ago for the skincare content, but I've stayed for you! Really love the direction your channel has gone recently, and I love the behind the beauty series! I always watch them when I'm doing my makeup in the morning. The amount of content you produce at such a high quality is amazing, you're on fire!
Just got back from my MOHS doctor's appointment, he scheduled surgery on my Basal Cell Carcinoma on my scalp for this Monday. We will drive there the night before & get it done the next day - WEAR a HAT OR CAP Y'ALL!! Protect your scalp!! 🤠
You're so lovely, James. Glad you're feeling better and it's nothing serious. I did notice but wouldn't have said anything. But so happy you found the cause of your issues. Take all the time you need to find your path and we'll be here waiting.
I am a skincare enthusiast gal and don't even remember how I saw your channel, it was probably recommended to me amidst my skincare searches (at the end of last year? Beginning of this one? I really don't remember)! Later on, I found Robert and for half a millisecond thought it was you doing make up, but quickly saw it was a twin because of the different name and thought it was quite wholesome that you two work with stuff that complements each other! Then, found out you had a twin channel and holy moly, that is SO MUCH FUN! Both of you, Ashton and Marcus have been my light and uplifting entertainment, helping me through a little bit of a mental burnout in the middle of the year! So thank you for introducing me to the Welsh Twinsverse and I hope to have your company for as long as possible!
I’m so sorry about your gut stuff! I’ve somewhat developed PI-IBS after a crazy c.diff infection earlier this year. I lost A LOT of weight in like 2 months - it was not great. Hopefully your video helps people to know to go to the doctor if something is weird in their body and see a GI doc!
Hope you are feeling better now?! My mistake was leaving it so long and putting it off. The moment I noticed blood…where it shouldn’t be 👀 I should’ve seen a.l dr right away. But instead I put it off out of fear. It’s never as scary as you think it’s going to be
@@JamesWelsh Yes I’m doing much better after 2 different antibiotics! I’m a pretty tiny person, so losing as much weight as I did in like 2 months was VERY noticeable - like you, I should have gone to the doc much sooner than I did. And omg yes that symptom is very scary!! I hope it all continues to heal as best it can. ❤️
So happy things are going well. You look amazing, as does Robert. Genuinely enjoy you two both separately and together. I'm excited to see what's to come!
So, so glad you got answers! As a Mama Bear- my son, 37- was diagnosed with Crohn's a couple of years ago- he'd let the pain go on until he ended up in the ER- always listen to your body & never stop sharing skin care & a spot of 'Tea' with us 😂 - XX from Memphis, TN
I love your videos. Your commentary videos I do enjoy. And I tend not to watch influencers except a couple of derms! You make me laugh, and think, and you're fun to watch. I get the impression you work hard for what you do and I respect that. So thank you! :)
As someone about to be 30…I’m glad (but not really lol) I’m not the only one who is having all these issues with food at this age! I’m also starting my long journey of changing my habits. Slow and steady this time 😊
I love you James! You are the only Skincare channel that I watch (plus Robert for makeup). Thank you for being honest and transparent. Thank you also for being sensitive to people’s triggers surrounding diet and weight. I have always had belly issues, and was recently diagnosed with diverticulitis 😮 So, I really have been paying attention to my triggers, and eating mindfully, it has helped so much. Keto and IF have helped (as long as I eat a lot of high fiber veggies!). I am so glad that you are healing! Also…I think you would be amazing at doing audio books. You have such a soothing, calm voice. I could listen to you all day!
Self care is so important and multifaceted... Thank you for opening up and sharing these aspects of your health journey with us, especially as a man. I’m especially glad that your problems are something that a lifestyle change can improve (and not, as you said, colon cancer or something).
Thank you for this James. This was so validating. Binge eater here too and it can sometimes feel like I'm the only one so it is so nice to hear you talk about how well you're doing. I'm 41 and having the same experience of having that wake up call and wanting to implement better habits as i want to live a long and healthy life. Thank you again and well done, you are glowing!
You are always so bloody refreshing. Your honesty and natural ability to make people feel comfortable is so much appreciated. Thanks for another great post
I am so glad to hear you are feeling happier and healthier, and most importantly you seem to be more content and peaceful. Which is so freaking hard to do in this day and age, so you should be extremely proud of yourself! And I know it really sucks when age really starts to catch up with us, and the shitty habits we have built over decades just to cope and get by, are literally destroying our bodies. But it is so worth it to do the healing needed to be able to break those habits, and as a result we heal our soul in the process.
I'm glad you're feeling better. As someone who's had chronic health issues since age 11, you have no idea how important it is to take care of your body until it doesn't work how it's meant to. I love all the variety in your content. Do whatever makes you happy!!
I'm 36 and in a similar position with health and weight. It's lovely to hear you talk about it and say your in a good position. I also want to thank yourself and your brother for your video's. You both always cheer me up
Please don’t give up! You are personally responsible for my skin being the best it has ever been. You were the first beauty influencer I found and your advice has truly been invaluable 💜
I’m so happy that you seem to have your health mostly under control. Stress and anxiety can really do a number on your body, and health issues can get you incredibly stressed, which in turn exacerbate the health issue. Vicious cycle. I wish you continued health and happiness!
I'm so sorry for all that you have gone through, but I am really relieved that right now you feel at your best, you really do deserve it. I would say I discovered you a couple of years ago because of your korean skincare reviews in particular, but nowadays I've also grown tired of only watching that content and I love that you have included more discussion topics and that you're so straight up honest with us. It's so comforting hearing your voice also 🤭. Thank you for all the hard work you put into your career and the content you deliver, and I really really hope that you stay as healthy and happy as you are now 🥰❤
I love how honest and humble you are. Please don’t ever change babe, you’re just amazing. I’m a skincare and makeup junkie and I’m rather knowledgeable on skincare and makeup through years of experience, courses, research and work and I watch you because you’re one of the only people I know I can enjoy your content and watch everything of yours, regardless of my knowledge and experience I have. I may think differently to you sometimes, I may not even agree sometimes but I never say anything because I respect you as a person and your content is genuine and from the heart always. Don’t ever change babe. Love you just the way you are! Xx
So glad to hear that you don’t have continued health issues. So sorry you went through all those IBS/GI issues. I’ve been there, before I was diagnosed with celiac disease. The cancer scare is very real. I think the biggest issue with the weight/diet on social media, is the focus on the weight number and appearance. Instead it should be focused on health, energy response to foods, and consideration of food as medicine. Our food interacts with MILES of the gut, it covers MORE surface area than the skin. And our gut nervous system interacts in such a weird way with our brains and no one really understands it. After decades of damage, it can take a long time to heal. Paying attention to the content of the food in our bodies, the pattern with which we eat our foods, and how it affects our body sensation in response to them. And I’m so glad you’ve had a positive experience with this journey so far.
Oh sweet. You look amazing but your personality shines through so much. I have EOE and a globus feeling where I get food constantly stuck in my esophagus and just lost my Dad to oesophageal cancer in May. Never felt so alone in my life. So, thank you for this video. Also, just been referred on the 2 week cancer pathway for camera up the bum. As lot of issues there. Thank you for making me feel like I’m not alone and for being so open with what you went/ going through. You and your brother are such gorgeous humans that have kept me sane since losing my Dad. Thank you x
I'm sending you my love from Australia. I look after my dad after we lost mum and my big brother in 2021. He coming home tomorrow after 7 weeks in hospital so I'm very excited. I know the huge hole that can be left after losing a parent ❤
@@EmEm872 thank you for being so sweet. Seriously, thank you. It means so much. I’m sorry for your losses and I wish I could help take the pain away. It’s a cruel world. Massive love to you and your Dad. Please make sure you look after yourself as well as your Dad. You are just as important, never forget that. Massive love and hugs xx
It's so nice to hear that you are feeling so much healthier again. It's a lot when you have medical issues and tbh I don't know how you do it. All that filming and being you on camera , it must be hard when you're not feeling well. So well done James , I'm sorry you've been through a lot but glad you're feeling bettter.
I don’t know why but it’s just so lovely to have you talk about all these issues. You are a wonderful person. Wishing you the best on for your journey to stay healthy.
I’ve recently discovered both you and Robert and I love your individual channels as well as your joint, you’re both incredibly entertaining alone and together and I’ll love whatever content you decide to put out! Taking care of yourself is the best way to be your best self and it shows so much in someone’s demeanour imo I’m glad these are good changes for you 🫶
I never comment. I like just watching your videos. But today I was really moved. Thank you for sharing your journey. So many times we get the fake a-- what's happening in my life. Most just seem so un authentic. With you, I could hear a genuineness . You are such a breath of fresh air. 😊
I love this. We should grow and change as we move along in our lives. I’m 50 now and believe even more strongly in the power following your heart. Looking forward to seeing the new path you and your brother are embarking on.
Your fun personality makes me come back and watch your videos even if they aren't about skincare as I get to learn about other things and making it interesting. I also like this type of video, as I believe a lot of us care if something is happening with your health, so please as long as you have the enthusiasm to post videos I'm going to be grateful and having fun watching them.
i’d love to hear more about your health journey like what type of fitness/exercise you’re incorporating now and how you switched from only eating in the evening and binging to a more well balanced eating schedule
I adore your random life update videos! I never took care of my skin until I found your channel back in early 2019. It's a little heartbreaking to hear the skincare videos will be taking a backseat in the future, but excited to see how you'll choose to evolve this channel ❤
So glad to hear you’re feeling healthier and overall better from the last year. As someone who is plus sized and grew up plus sized, the diet culture is so scary and the resurgence is concerning. I hit my highest weight at the beginning of this year and have decided to make life long changes. It’s difficult but once it becomes routine, the difference is crazy!
As someone who had a health scare and plenty of hospitals last year, I get the need to adapt now. My team is all MD folks 😂 lifestyle changes here, slowly and looking at my makeup and skincare and considering those changes. You and your twin combine into a fabulous information and humorous resource. I loved the cooking romp. I am noticing many of my age beauty content creators branching out as they need to adapt to their body. Good for you for making the lifestyle mods before your fifties. It gets harder the longer you wait. Sigh.
Stress and anxiety affect so many areas of our lives: mentally, physically, and emotionally-and it's not the same for everyone, so no easy diagnosis/remedy. Wishing you continued health and happiness 💜💜💜
I'm so glad to hear that you're taking care of yourself now and are less stressed. That's what I need to do. Watch what I eat and manage my stress better. I would love to lose weight. I'm trying to exercise when I can on a regular basis. Keep up your best care of yourself!
Thank you from Toronto-Canada! Your videos, listening/watching them, I learn about new products and your voice is very soothing. I'm glad you continuously put content on TH-cam.
As someone who did nothing with her skin until I found you this year, this 53 year old woman is incredibly grateful to you. You made me appreciate myself and take care of myself more. Thankyou, please don’t stop
Also 53 here, also appreciate your videos and also thank you 😉
63 here and I am also very grateful!
I'm 45 and have the same experience 😊 I also appreciate your videos very much, you make skincare relatable and educational. I loved your L'Oréal video. I've started caring for my skin more because of your videos and you've made the ingredients more understandable. I value your opinion ❤
Girl me too!! I'm 45 and thanks to James I've learned so much over the past year
I hope you wear spf everyday too!
I am SO SO glad that you've found a happy healthy! 🥰 Thank you for sharing your journey. 💙
I don't know if it was purposeful but calling Influencers "Influenzas" is brilliant.
@@nicolabaker4391 😄 I've been hearing it used to refer to shady influencers.
I appreciate when you discuss the business of social media because it helps me understand the how/why behind the choices content creators make.
SIR that title better be clickbait. I cant deal with a mental breakdown rn. I need you, James😂 my face has never been better since I found you and Robert💜🖤
Haha it is a little! 💜💜
I know, I had to get here as fast as possible, had a right panic thinking he was giving up 😂
@@JamesWelsh I also slightly panicked that you were quitting. You and Robert are amazing. 😊
Defo enjoy the commentary style videos, you are so funny and honest, and we love seeing that side 💜🖤
Thank you! Glad you enjoy them!
I like being educated by you and your brother on stuff you guys are fun and make it interesting. I use to the those period videos of like skincare in ancient Egypt and shit. Loved that! The old school get ready w me and 80s commercials. Fun. 😂
Ahhh haha. We are hoping to bring those back in another way! We just ran out of time periods!
Thank you! Sending all my love to you and your mum. 💜💜
Love to your mum xxxx
Prayers for your mom ❤️
As someone who's been un your position (with her dad), I can 100% empathise with what you're going through. Sending much love to you and your mum, be kind to yourself ❤
@@krysab6125 Thank you 💜💜💜
I absolutely love the documentary style videos…it just seems natural to change up your content as you, yourself grow and change🥰🥰🥰
Your whole vibe lately has been so zen 🧘
You are glowing and seem so grounded and calm.
My husband gives a heads up whenever there's new Welsh twin content.
How did you go about it? I'm dealing with IBS and HH and tired of the flares!
oh hey I have CVS too, it sucks but I never knew anyone else that had which made me feel really awkward and insecure about it when i was younger. it’s more manageable now but it’s comforting when i head someone else knows what cyclical vomiting syndrome is like
I'd be so curious if the fundoplication (hiatal hernia repair) could improve CVS given the main sign of a successful surgery is no ability to regurgitate/vomit outside of like norovirus level bad at least initially.
I also have CVS and a hiatus hernia, and had no idea they could be related
Glad you feel like you’re thriving! It is so hard to prioritize our health, and there’s nothing quite like hitting the 30s for your body to start letting you know allllll about it. Congrats for listening to your body (and medical team)! 💚
thank you for being so raw and vulnerable. it’s so refreshing to see creators like yourself be real. also loving the commentary style vids!! glad you’re healthy and well 🖤
Thank you for all your vulnerability. I’m actually watching this while sitting in a hospital bed waiting for my 1st colonoscopy. Health is def wealth
I hope you get results soon and they're good.
@@maryeckel9682 TY for the kind words! Clean bill of health 🤍
I enjoy all of your content James, but definitely appreciate you keeping us updated on the “goings-on”!
Thankyou for being so open and vulnerable James. Really brave thing to do and much appreciated I’m sure this has struck more cords and warmed more hearts than you realise
Hiiiiii! Haven't watched the video yet, I've noticed you losing weight, but felt kinda rude and inappropriate to comment something, so I'm glad you are updating us 💜
Heyyyy haha as a rule I don’t like to comment on people’s weight but a lot of people seems concerned lol so I felt like I had to talk about it 😅
@JamesWelsh thank you for putting our minds at ease.
Girl, same! You never know the cause of it and don't want to feel people as if they're forced to talk about their own (possible) trauma
It’s lovely to hear that you are taking such great care of yourself and I’m excited for what’s to come ❤
Your story almost exactly matches mine.
I love watching you and your brother! You guys are so handsome 💜🖤
Thank you 🥹
I lost 20+ lbs while I felt nauseous with IBS.
2:55 your honesty and genuine opinions are why we watch & love you! Don’t ever stop 😊
thank you for addressing the weight loss section in such a respectful way. i suffer with binge eating and have started my health journey. ironically, i love watching your videos when i'm at the gym! however, this time instead of all the fad diets, i have built a healthy relationship with the gym, and i am trying to build a healthy relationship with food, too. i am so happy for you and your health journey. never stop being you!!!
happy to hear you’re healthy and thriving!!! just know whatever you and robert post/do i’ll be seated waiting for it!!!
I feel like my triggers change all the time. Safe foods turn on me out of nowhere.
I’m so glad to hear you’ve sorted out your health issues. You deserve a great quality of life. Love your content 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Please keep the skincare stuff. It’s really helpful and you’re probably the only one I trust. (Since a few years, you helped me realise a product was actually bad for me. It helped me look at skincare very differently.)(I’m 46, never too late t learn about skincare)
I also love your other videos.
14:13 go parasocial relationships! Yes, we DO care ❤🦄
Omg she’s so much better at me than this 😅
it was so nice listening to you ❤ we care about you, James ❤
So excited to see what’s next and still happy to keep getting skincare updates. You are one of my sources of new things to try
I love the behind the beauty/ugly beauty videos! And more than anything it is good to see you doing well ❤️
I subscribed years ago for the skincare content, but I've stayed for you! Really love the direction your channel has gone recently, and I love the behind the beauty series! I always watch them when I'm doing my makeup in the morning. The amount of content you produce at such a high quality is amazing, you're on fire!
I’m so glad you’re feeling better! God, after 30 you really have to start taking care of your body. It is ridiculous that it is such a difference.
Just got back from my MOHS doctor's appointment, he scheduled surgery on my Basal Cell Carcinoma on my scalp for this Monday. We will drive there the night before & get it done the next day - WEAR a HAT OR CAP Y'ALL!! Protect your scalp!! 🤠
Wishing you the best of luck and quick recovery!!!
@@stauroulapatsourou7278 Thank you muchly!
Slow and steady this time 😊
Good for you! As a voice teacher, I'm happy you found one who helped! 😊
I'm so sorry you've not been well. Sending lots of love and support and it's wonderful to hear that you're feeling better ❤
Please never leave YT!!! I’d cry
Your honesty and vulnerability is beautiful here. Glad you’re healthy, you are fabulous either way, but your happiness glows!
It's amazing having someone around my age to easily teach me about skin products and I'm grateful. ❤
Sigh.
Aww James this video made me soooo happy!!! I’m soooo glad to hear that you’re feeling great after making healthy changes!!
