I'm glad that all of you have each other to lean on for support! I think there is a larger topic at hand in here with just how important community in general is for our well being. And especially if you are in a niche because of a passion, how important it is to find community within that niche, or it will feel even more isolating. I was into astrology for almost a decade until I finally went to a conference, meetups, and made friends who were also into it and now we can connect and speak the language together. I've been watching James for so long that I can't remember when I started. I can't believe Robert only started his channel in 2020. Feels like I've been watching them both forever! They are two of my favorite "influencers" because of how authentic and professional they are. Their twins channel also shows another side of them that is truly so joyful to watch. It's a nice break from everything else online. I also love their communities and being part of them! Everyone is so level headed and genuine.

This was a fun video. I had no idea there was any drama at all, much less that people wanted to drag the Twins into it. I love these guys, and while I don't know much about Susan, just looking at her skin (and the fact that James likes her), i feel that I could take advice from her.

I didn't know how to do makeup for zoom and Robert showed up in my feed. I didn't know how to look up my history and didn't catch his name. Over the summer, James showed up and I thought it was him, because there are influencers like Tati that also did skincare. Then one day he said he doesn't wear makeup! A few days later the Twins channel showed up and first thing they say is "we are not the same person". I can tell them apart now.

I always thought about showing functional health content online. But I know what publicity can do to someone. And the world is never ever kind to women. Especially if they’re curvy. The internet will always hate on that. I learned long ago that I will never be good enough for some people, and that’s not for me to change. Even though it’s tempting. I just have to be myself. Negative publicity is what makes me just want to do private practice only. I Wish I can reach millions. But only bcz I want to help. If I can do it anonymously, I would. I never want anyone to know who I am. Even though it’d be great to connect to the greater whole 🌎 I don’t think that’s my path. Hopefully, I can reach the handful of people that really really need me. I hope that will be enough. I think it will 😌 Maybe I can reach millions through books I write. Yeah… that’s my flavor.
With the hype around sunscreens there is a new one I've found that says it is 'edible grade' with non-nano zinc technology but it melts into my skin like a chemical sunscreen - needless to say I'm dubious, but it could be absolutely incredible for people looking for the best natural alternative! But I have no idea if the claims are true, it would be amazing to see a review. It's a tallow sunscreen by Sky & Sol, and I would love to hear your take on tallow creams and balms as well! I can't wait to hear more!
You guys have tried so hard to rescue this woman's reputation in skincare. I'm sorry, I will never trust or respect her after the way she lied to her audience and pretended to be testing a product that SHE created. Integrity is everything.
