Much thanks. $2 in parts and 10 minutes working on it. Worked like a charm!
👍🏾
Why did i have power steering fluid come out the reservoir after changing out the pump and the o rings?
Air was inside from the changing of the pump. It should subide after a few long minutes OR something didn't seal properly.
good video, I like the comparison with the second car. seems it mostly but not entirely fixed the issue. Mine has no sound or bubbles but does have a small leak from the top line. I will try the o-ring solution as well.it's cheap and easy enough. Do you know if the orings are the same in the 2.4 and the 2.0 engines (euro accord/same car)? thanks
After a week the noise completely left. I guess it had to create a proper seal but in the video, it's night and day and an attempt to show the difference the rings make. I cannot speak on the euro accord. I would assume that they didn't completely redesign the power steering pumps and their components due to location. Frankly, your guess would be better than my own, there.
hey how was your car when you first started it the next day? all good?
Just fine and still doing well ...
@@DIYD cool ,,thats good ,i did mine right now ,and at the moment it fixes everything ,thanks good it was just the low side o ring ..thanks for the video brother .
@@juniorundersea if it is the power steering pump then it will make itself obvious in about two weeks if not earlier. But believe me; it's easy to change as well 💪🏾
Do you have to bleed p/s system after replacing o ring?
By all means. However, we did not and it's completely functional. YMMV
did that fix the issue?
Yes.
