      That's a pretty dramatic change. It is interesting how you are able to control your blood pressure using only the power of your own mind.

    I am only 28 years old sir and my BP sometimes goes up to 140/100, usually it is 130/90 and I am so worried about my health but whenever I listened to this I would feel relaxed actually helped my BP goes down to 113/80. I wish I could lower it down to 110/70. This video is a blessing. Thank you so much!

    I am having a really tough time believing what I'm experiencing. I've been taking BP medication for the past 15 months or so. It was making my limbs feel weird or I thought it was because I had no other explanation for how I felt. Taking the BP meds my blood pressure was typically in the high 120s to 130s unless I was under a lot of stress and then it was in the 140s - even ON MEDS. With the way my limbs were feeling (imagine a muted sense of pins and needles) I stopped taking my BP med last week - 8 days ago. Within a couple of days my BP was reading 158/90. SO I got a different prescription that I picked up yesterday, which I have not taken. I found this video Friday and this is my 4th day watching it. On Friday I watched 3 times, Saturday 3 times, Sunday 2 times and today so far 1 time and I'm about to watch again. My average blood pressure today has been about 117/70. I do know know how this is possible which is why I've been monitoring it all day long. I am blown away, My high for the day was 136/80 and it was like that twice. Aside from that it's been in the teens or low 20s. My BP hasn't been this good in YEARS. I'm fully alert and conscious when listening. But judging from my BP readings all day something is controlling it because I've never been able to control it before when I tried to control it. But I have to stop writing because the more I talk about my BP, I can feel it go up right now.. THANK YOU, Glen Bledsoe, for the amazing gift today of an entire day of normal blood pressure with no medication. I can't think of anything else that can be responsible for the BP day I had today. It's been amazing.

      You're welcome. It appears that you are highly susceptible to suggestion (in a good way) and that you are able to use this to your advantage. Continue to listen to the recording as often as you need to get the results you want. There are always side effects to drugs. There are no side effects to hypnosis.

    • @kimme148

      Glen Bledsoe, today was day four of normal blood pressure throughout the day. Average readings in the low to mid 120s. Early morning watching the stock market can top it out in the 130s but it quickly comes down with a deep breath and touching fingers. The weird feeling is completely gone in my arms and getting noticeably better in my lower extremities. It WAS the BP medication just as I thought. The doctor did not believe the med was the cause and dismissed my complaint as “aging nerves.” Although that explanation was amusing, it was otherwise unhelpful. I am still at a loss for why and how listening to your video has had such an immense impact on my blood pressure. It is astonishing to me. It leaves me wondering what else hypnosis or suggestions in a relaxed state can do to improve quality of life. This opens up a whole world of possibilities in my mind. I cannot think of another reason for my blood pressure to be normal. And at the same time it’s hard to believe listening to the video a few times a day has had such a dramatic impact. Again, THANK YOU. This has been an amazing week. I feel so much better.

    i was feeling different a couple of hours ago ..i had 250 bp and was on emergency ,was given 6 meds a day for 2 weeks it was awful 3 months ago.thqt changes my diet of low to no salt food,no sugar and low carb to whole wheat foods,taking more vegetables and fruits.no more coffee and ive been drinking green tea and black currant tea with the help of amlodepine meds. this just gave me feeling of relief after during the 1st minute of listening . i pray this will cure my hypertension just by listening.

      High blood pressure can debilitate and kill. It's nothing to play around with. While many people benefit from diet changes and this recording they does not take the place of care by a medical doctor. If you haven't seen a doctor about this issue, I urge you to.

One new teacher was going to not be able to teach if she failed her exam again. She passed easily her next exam after hypnotherapy. I have helped doctors pass their exams. A while back I worked with a police officer (who had not passed the test the year before) pass his exam to be promoted. He scored highest out of 11 people (even college graduates) and got the job. I have helped literally thousands of people, including myself. Good luck and much success in your work as a hypnotherapist. The world needs you.

    I forgot I listened to this over a year ago and found it in my liked list. At the time, my BP was mostly ok but I dreaded having to increase my meds. I've done this for 2 days and I hadn't seen a diastolic read of less than 90 in weeks. But I took it last night and tonite and was 118/79 and 116/80. I don't know if this has long term effects but I'm so grateful to know that I can get it down with suggestion. Thank you so much!

    • @LightsOnMultiMediaMindArts
      @LightsOnMultiMediaMindArts  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      You're very welcome. As for the long term it's entirely possible that the effect is ongoing. The more you enter trance, the easier it is and the deeper you go. Repetition strengthens the suggestions. The suggestions are directed at lowering stress as the source of elevated blood pressure. If there are other reasons due to pathology then we wouldn't want to cover that up and probably couldn't. I'm not a doctor, so always follow your doctor's advice. I wish you good heath and continued success.

What a hypnotist does is pass suggestions to the unconscious mind to in turn place them where the biological mind can heed them to squeeze and relax appropriately for the task needed. The conscious mind can't control the automatic functions of the mind, but if the conscious mind allows the suggestion to be passed onto the unconscious collective, then yes the heart can (and should) relax between contractions. The unconscious mind manages millions of processes of the body all at the same time, something the conscious mind couldn't begin to deal with. I'm glad you find application for this in your childbirth classes.

      Linda, communicating through TH-cam or other social media sometimes is like trying to watch a movie through a keyhole. It's difficult for me to ask a series of questions and get the kinds of answers that could take place during a conversation. So let's begin very simply.
      1. What is it that you want to have happen?
      2. Do you know that the subconscious mind listens no matter what? And that the conscious mind doesn’t have to do anything? It can think about something else or it can think about nothing. All you have to do is be willing to allow your mental state to change just a little. Allow those changes that the subconscious mind designs without your conscious participation to take place.
      3. What's it like when you are relaxed? There are times when you are relaxed, aren’t there? Everybody--even the most tense person--is relaxed sometimes. And when you are relaxed tell me what that's like.
      4. How much relaxation do you think that you must experience for these suggestions to be effective?

    Honestly I still have things on my mind whenever I look at the video but I am getting there slowly but surely. This is a good video and it is working. One more thing about me personally is that at the beginning when we are to take the first breath and breathe out slowly. I always yawn. I can never do it properly.By the third breath it is a total yawning festival for me. I can't seem to stop yawning.

    • @LightsOnMultiMediaMindArts
      @LightsOnMultiMediaMindArts  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Everybody has a mind and that mind is divided into the conscious mind and unconscious mind. It's often useful to think of the unconscious mind as divided into the unconscious mind and the biological mind. The biological mind maintains your body (healing, growing, digestion, heart rate and importantly blood pressure) and the unconscious mind houses your emotions, memories, values, learning, spiritual self, etc. Your conscious mind is the smallest segment and it does several things: it makes you self-aware, it acts as the critical faculty (meaning it prevents you from believing everything you experience otherwise you’d be fooled by anything and everything). The conscious mind can only handle about 5 - 7 different tasks at a time. More than that it can't handle--unlike the unconscious mind and especially the biological mind, which handles millions of things at the same time. This recording addresses the biological mind.
      It really doesn’t matter that you still have conscious thoughts during this process because the conscious mind and the biological mind don’t directly communicate. What you’re experiencing when you say you’re getting there slowly is you’re becoming increasingly hypnotically flexible, which is a very good thing. Despite what you might read or hear elsewhere hypnosis is very closely related to sleep, so yawning is fine. Your biological mind is just attempting to increase the amount of oxygen in the body as it prepares to relax more and more. This recording artificially activates REM sleep and the suggestions are ingrained into your long term memory. (This is very different from what happens in a hypnosis show, by the way.) So you can yawn whenever you feel the need and experience even deeper relaxation as you gently slide even deeper into trance. Enjoy the process as your blood pressure continues to become even more consistently normal.

      I recently created a personalized video for a client much like this only somewhat more advanced. I’ve learned a lot about hypnosis and multi-media since I produced this in 2014. It turned out quite well.
      The difficulty is everyone has different ways they symbolize issues and while hypnosis is generally an intentionally artful way of being exquisitely vague, it still helps to know, for example, if you prefer being in a forest to being on the beach when you’re relaxed. There are questions I need to ask you so that I can collect those symbols and by considering the questions you can reflect on what you really want and need. One size fits all hypnosis isn't as effective as personalized. It's not completely ineffective as you can see by the comments here.
      It takes a huge amount of time to create these. Everything involved is from scratch from the animation, to binaural beats to the script to ambient sounds and music to the mixing and assembly of all content. I do it all. Maybe I need to set up a patreon page. Do you think something like that would be successful? What issues would you like to see addressed?

BP is coming in to the 120s/70s more of the than it has in a long time. I fall asleep to it but it doesn't seem to matter. I must be getting the benefit from it still. I'm loving this hypnosis.

      There are many times when hypnotic language is ambiguous by design. Your conscious mind doesn't have to pay attention or make sense of any of this. It's your unconscious mind that is the audience, and your unconscious mind is capable of teasing out a meaning or several meanings out of words of the hypnotist.
      If however you feel the need to make sense out of it, you are free to pick any interpretation you like because any interpretation that works for you is fine. I wish you continued success.

      David, you are very perceptive. Hypnotists often present words that can be interpreted differently--words that sound alike but are spelled differently, words that have several different meanings depending on context, words that are different, are spelled differently, but sound similar if they are not clearly heard. Hypnosis is, above all else, the art of being exquisitely vague. The momentary confusion causes the conscious mind to drop its guard and a positive suggestion just in the background passes into the unconsicous mind more easily. You have permission to interpret the word in whatever way you find most useful, if it is important that you assign a given meaning to that word for this to be of benefit to you.

    • @LightsOnMultiMediaMindArts
      @LightsOnMultiMediaMindArts  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are words used in hypnosis which are amibiguous by design. Often times a word might mean something to your conscious mind, but something quite different to your unconscious mind. Having double or ambiguous phrases is one method to circumvent the conscious mind, which can act as a gatekeeper filtering out good suggestions. So to answer your question, it doesn't matter if the word is always or all the way. The act of your conscious mind scrabbling to make that determination misdirects your attention so the positive suggestions can flow freely to your unconscious collective.

    After the hypnosis, I took it immediately and it was real high. How long should I wait before taking the pressure?

    • @LightsOnMultiMediaMindArts
      @LightsOnMultiMediaMindArts  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you take your blood pressure regularly? If not, then I would suggest you take it twice a day. Maybe once in the morning and once in the evening. Do this for a couple of weeks to establish a routine and to establish your base level. Then following those measurements listen to this recording and compare the resultss. You don’t have to wait following the hypnosis before taking your blood pressure.
      Having said I’ll add that I’ve been unable to find accurate blood pressure devices in the last couple of years. The only one that works for me is the old fashion, bulb, cuff kind found in doctors' offices. The newer digital devices aren't even remotely close. If you do use a home device I suggest you take it with you to your doctor's office to see if it's close to accurate.
      As always consult with your doctor if your blood pressure remains high. Hypertension is a serious condition. As useful as this recording has been to so many people it is not meant to be a substitute for medical treatment. Be well, Lorraine.

      @Glen Bledsoe I just read Lorraine Woods-Moore's comment about having a phobia of taking her blood pressure. I suffer from white coat syndrome as well. I have my 6 months check up with my doctor ( for high blood pressure) soon. And I have been checking my blood pressure throughout that 6 month period. " I'm terrified of that little machine," but my blood pressure was normal. And now that my doctor's appointment is near... It's been high! because I'm nervous, I can't keep my mind from wondering while trying to stay calm. I will keep listening to this video and maybe it will help me. I also suffer from anxiety. I wish you could make a video on white coat syndrome. :-)

    • @LightsOnMultiMediaMindArts
      @LightsOnMultiMediaMindArts  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@annabee8476 I suppose the only thing that really matters is that your blood pressure is normal during your normal daily life. If your blood pressure device matches your readings in your doctor's office and you keep a record of your blood pressure readings then all should be fine. But being terrified of "that little machine" is also something that can be overcome. The White Coat Syndrome is common and I have to wonder if someone will invent a new technology that avoids that characteristic sound from digital cuffs inflating and the sensation of the pressure around the wrist or arm. In the meanwhile I’ve started thinking about a hypnotic approach that will diminish the uncomfortable aspects of the experience of blood pressure devices.
      So I have a question or two for you. There are manual cuffs that the nurse wraps around your upper arm. She or he inflates it with a squeeze bulb. They place a stethoscope to your forearm to listen and they read a gauge to determine your blood pressure. These devices are usually very accurate and less unpleasant overall. There are digital devices that can be purchased at a drug store. They either wrap around your upper arm or wrist. These you place yourself in the appropriate place on your arm. You press a button and they begin to inflate making the characteristic sound. You feel the pressure increase. Then the device takes its own sweet time in making the calculation which is at last displays on the display. Which of these two kinds of devices do you use? Which of the two does your doctor use? Which of the two is the better experience?
      Yes, I hear you. I will work on this and get back with something that I think can help.

    • @LightsOnMultiMediaMindArts
      @LightsOnMultiMediaMindArts  7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      By public readings are you referring to readings at the doctor's office? It's often the case that someone's blood pressure will go up while under pressure at the doctor's office. It's called white coat syndrome. If you have a newer device for measuring blood pressure at home it may automatically record your blood pressure and you can show your doctor the results. First you have to see how close your home device is to the equipment at your doctor's. Take your device with you when you visit your doctor and compare the results if you haven’t done so already. Since you spend very little time at the doctor compared to the rest of your life it's more important to get good results outside of the office, so I wouldn’t put too much importance on your white coat syndrome response. It occurs to me that I could create a recording specific to visiting the doctor's office. I may do that.

    • @LightsOnMultiMediaMindArts

      You have to ask yourself what is important. Is it important to have normal blood pressure in everyday life? Or is it important that you measure your blood pressure in public and incur anxiety attacks? If it were me I’d not bother measuring my blood pressure in public settings if my numbers are good at home and I know my device is accurate. Talk this over with your doctor and see what he/she has to say.

    • @Rhythmandosyche

      It's a suggestion that your conscious mind doesn’t need to concern itself with. Think about something else pleasant. Think instead about something you’re looking forward to or something in the past that you really had fun with and enjoyed. Let your conscious mind go "off-line" and completely ignore only any and all of the suggestions. It's nothing that you need to consciously manage in any way. Repetition is important. • @LightsOnMultiMediaMindArts
      @LightsOnMultiMediaMindArts  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Helping someone deal with panic attack and anxiety is difficult to do without an extensive face to face interview. I would have to determine where the attacks come from and why you experience anxiety when there is no reason to. Then I would have to show you how to change your mental state just a little so that you remain only as alert and cautious as you need to be in a given circumstance. That's really the issue, isn’t it? You're being more alert and cautious than you need to be given the situation. It has to do with your mental state, unless it's the result of hardening of arteries or other heart disease. You should always consult your doctor to determine if that's the case.

      You're afraid of the device because of what it reminds you of? Or what you think it's going to tell you? Or because of the way it feels on your wrist or arm? What is it about the piece of plastic that makes you feel afraid?

    sure sir, does fear increase blood pressure?

    • @LightsOnMultiMediaMindArts
      @LightsOnMultiMediaMindArts  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, fear does increase blood pressure, which is why you want to practice taking your blood pressure at home so that your fear will decrease. Otherwise your doctor will have trouble getting an accurate reading. Start by sitting the device in your lap and watching TV or reading. Later put it loosely on, but don't use it. Then after a couple of days have someone else put it on you and turn it on, but don’t even read the results. Then have someone else put it on you and have them read the results, but not share them with you. Then finally you do the whole process yourself. Slowly step by step. Soon it will be as natural to take your blood pressure as stepping on a scale to weigh yourself.

      It may help if you write down the changes you see in your blood pressure readings. Sometimes the act of writing fixes the suggestion for improvement in your mind.

    In order for me to get to stage 1 order and or 2 sleep state i need to medicate, I'm in stage 1and 2 one hour before and on hour after waking when the medication is fully affected and put me to sleep, as I understand it this is real hypnotic state but I'm not sure if being medicated is advisable to hypnotist.

      Sorry I missed this when you posted it. Medication usually isn’t an issue with hypnosis unless the medication makes it difficult for you to concentrate or focus your mind.

      That may indicate that you are particularly susceptible to hypnosis, which is only a good thing. That means that you have easy access to the power inside your mind to make the changes in your life that you want and need. Hypnosis is absolutely safe so long as you listen and enter into trance at an appropriate time and place.

    • @LightsOnMultiMediaMindArts
      @LightsOnMultiMediaMindArts  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The repetition can be annoying, can’t it? You may, however, find that the suggestions that annoy your conscious mind may begin to work subconsciously. That's all the matters, isn’t it? It's actually okay that you consciously find the repetition annoying so long as you unconsciously follow the positive suggestions because it's not your conscious mind that is the audience. After all television commercials are annoying, too, and yet they are extremely effective otherwise corporations wouldn’t spend millions and millions of dollars on them.

      The suggestions that you repeat over and over, my conscious mind doesn't quite understand what they mean. Is that normal or am I missing something. I just found your video and listened for the first time, got really relaxed and plan to continue. I was so relaxed I almost didn't want to wake up at the end. Thank you for such a great video.

      When you are ready to change your thinking, words are only symbols. Without the words, without the symbols no change occurs. Listeners come here to change their ways of thinking about their health and sound effects are not enough.

      Turn off your phone if you’re using your computer to watch this. You don’t want to be interrupted by a call or a text. If you're listening on your phone, then obviously you can ignore that advice.
