      In all seriousness, that wasn't Jackson's decision, that was WB forcing his hand. I'm sure he would've been content with just two, or possibly even one. He hadn't nearly the creative freedom and the time to do what he wanted on The Hobbit, since he was dragged in once del Toro backed out.

      I kind of want to see jay do soft tubing with barbed wire coiled around it. Just to see the response this would garner. (You can do it with thin gauge, long spiked wire, you bend the pins out into a cradle and use them as a tube support so you can bend it and direct the tubes. Think of this as mean looking training wheels for your soft tubing.) It looks pretty sweet too. (Pretty sure it improves the savagery of strangling people with soft tubing too, as a bonus!)

    I'm loving this build, it's so nice to see your reasoning on why something goes or not in the build. That paint on the acrylic looked like it came out the factory that way, so much better!

    11:45 Jay, the Dark Hero has a dynamic overclock feature that'll let you have separate profiles for single and multi core so you can get the best of both worlds. That's one of the reasons why the damn thing is sold out everywhere. Use it! 😊

    I did my first watercooled build a few weeks ago and had no idea about the ZMT tubing until researching the parts I needed.
    Was no question over using the clear stuff or even hard tubing.
    I've had nothing but compliments over the ZMT and how good it looks.
    Thanks again, Jay. You helped a lot with deciding on what rads, fans, etc to buy.

    I used soft tubing on my current build. Was my first time ever doing a custom loop and I think it looks incredible. I probably won’t do hard tubing for any build since soft tubes can look good if planned correctly.

    I did my first water cooling loop this year. There was quite a long wait on some of the hardline components that I ordered, so I ended up doing a quick soft tube loop just to get the system running. I liked it so much that I haven't bothered installing the hardline stuff yet

    I built my first custom liquid cooling loop in June of 2020. I'd long debated hardline vs. soft tubing. Then, while watching a JTC video one day, Jay said "make it your own". Moments later I purchased EKWB's soft matte black tubing. Problem solved! I, too, prefer that industrial look. Couldn't be happier with the resulting build.     Thanks for the uploads! I am really appreciating this! I have all my parts for my pc build besides the gpu. Watching these vids have helped me plan my build better and make me aware of things I didn’t know about before. Hopefully, I’ll have better luck getting my hands on a gpu next month. Also, I like the flex tubing especially seeing how the vertical mount on the gpu can rock back and forth.

    Ive watched your videos for years. Your videos as well as others helped me get the confidence to go water cooling. If i can do it anyone can lol. the benefits are so worth it. I have a thermaltake core p5 with an ek water cooling kit and 2 radiators. LOVE it.

    I just want to give a shout-out to Nick for doing some wonderful camera work and getting some nice shots of the painting of the reservoir. After jay was finished, it literally looked like it had been made that way.

      We all know Jay isn't very good at working with his hands, carpentry, mechanic abilities, and spray painting, but there was nothing that he did that was dangerous, if a competent man does it.

    Just a tip for future reference. When the back part is not in view I usually cover it in aluminium tape. This makes sure that absolutely no light can bleed through.
