So by the time you finish installing the manager app for EVERY SINGLE POWERED COMPONENT, a third of your ram is gone just keeping the damn things a single color, or off. If any of htem would standardize to be able to save a preferred palette (or to stay the heck off), I wouldn't have a problem with it. but they won't, so I do.

      Even people who doesn't think they need to lose, will lose some weight. Because this fasting will help you remove fats inside your body that is not visible on the outside, but should not be there.
      It will make the body work better overall, so it's for everyone.

    I'm really enjoying this style of building. The montages are cool and everything but there is something nice about watching the trial and error and thought processes you have while building a rig. It's nice to see how you overcome some obstacles during the build process. Like how you cut the notch for the wires to run towards the socket instead of out the back end of the GPU. That's a really cool idea that I'm sure one of us viewers may use in the future! Also the banter between you two is hilarious! You guys never cease to bring a smile to my face! I really like the idea of painting the res and masking off a single vertical line to see the fill. Imo, applying this same idea to painted tubing would look AMAZING.
    Acrylic tubing painted engine black with a single crisp line masked off along the entire length of each tube...or maybe just a couple of select tubes for a visual bang.
    I know you’ve said that you are leaning toward distilled water, but the above mentioned painted tubing and res would likely be visually stunning if filled with yellow fluid.

      EXACTLY!

    • @JohnLGalt_1
      @JohnLGalt_1 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Spot on - a strip across the 'top' (when the mobo is laid out flat on a desk) of all the tubing would allow for easy visibility of bubbles, and then when it is in the case and vertically aligned, those strips become view bars, in which yellow fluid (or even other colors, like that of ethylene glycol) would look great in.
      Leaving a corresponding strip unpainted on the polar opposite side of every piece of tubing would allow for some fantastic lighting looks as well.

    Should use some vinyl wrap. You can get the colors that you want depending on the wrap. And its easy to work with.

    Why not use a black or carbon fiber vinyl on the reservoir? Easily removable "permanent" option. Or use vht nightshades turn signal/brake light tint spray if you want a translucent blacked out look. Ive used both for various applications on my cars, motorcycles, laptops and consoles.

    Why not use a very dark automotive window tint for the reservoir. Nondistructive, not permanent if you need to reuse it, in a blacked out case it will look jet black and you shine a bright light through it if you need to see inside.

    Recently i was doing Corsair Hydro all watercooled build. The CPU block, radiators and reservoir were really easy to install even for watercooling rookies.However i come to the problem with GPU. I have ROG Strix RTX 2080Ti GPU and unfortunatelly Corsair had only reference GPU waterblocks at stock at that moment. So i went with EK Vector waterblock and man, that was a really hard work. No thermal pads preapplied or even cutted in height and width. After 1 hour of measuring and cutting i finally mounted the waterblock. I was phew finally, now just screw in the backplate. I opened the package and saw another bunch of thermalpads for backplate. However all of it was worth it, but i think, i will never go over this process again, at least in recent years.

    various textured black carbon fiber look vinyl wrap is dirt cheap, you could cover the nickel portions of the gpu and cpu blocks with a contrasting finish(matte/textured or matte/shiny) CF logo/whatever and then use the same wrap on the psu shroud and other areas to bring it all together in a blacked out way.

    Jay you could go to an auto parts store and get some of that carbon fiber wrap sticker material and do a 95% wrap on the reservoir allowing the vertical viewing of the level. Doing this you wouldn't have to mask anything to paint it and also if you didn't like the look you could always just peal it off. Just a thought.

    You should mask off parts of the acrylic tubing when you spray paint them, leaving very small thin and very angular lines on the tubes where the coolant will show through and then you can choose a color to accent the build that can also go with your RBG color choice. Just an idea but I think it would look cool, dark knight just makes me think of his tank and how angular it was, plus that was a bad ass tank.

    Jay ... copper stretches really, really easy. Just need to get a pipe expander of the right size (er ... anyone mention Harbor Freight??) and expand it out about a millimeter and you'd have been golden with the copper. Polished copper with some clear coat would have looked AWESOME inside the blacked out case.

    Hey Jay, What about clear tubing and Res, but going with Black Water? Then you could even vertical mount the GPU as a lot of the chrome would be blacked out, and no need to paint Tubes and Res because they will all look Black.

  • @GLZEPHEAD69
    @GLZEPHEAD69 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    if you paint the tubes you could do a lowrider paint trick and use some kind of fabric wrapped around it and paint through it to leave a texture or lace pattern on the tubes. i've never seen anyone do that on a pc build.

  • @anci3ntr3turns
    @anci3ntr3turns 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    @jaystwocents why don't you paste long and thin stickers the length of the tubing spray them Matt black then remove stickers showing a thin line which displays the color of the coolant. This would fix the matching of the resivour and have the tubing mostly black.
