Superb trio and phenomenal playing from Matteo. I'm surprised that Rick Beato hasn't featured Matteo, I can just see him going crazy listening to those high-speed runs.

i know there a re great guitarists out there, super fast and technical and or bluesy, but this guy is in a higher level in many ways, melodically and technically speaking incredible, great composition, refreshing to hear something as creative and not just a copy in sound and style
At last a very correct comment! Who speaks of "only technique", dont has any musical sensitivity. MM Is a very rare chemical complex of technique, taste and soul. It's very difficult to find these three qualities together in a unique musician
Matteo is my favorite guitarist here and now (not including stuff composed and performed by Holdsworth/Lane/... in the past), his improvisations and technique/emulations completely on point. I've now listened to this tune 4-5 times and I still hear a lot of Guthrie Govan (first album). I'm sure he'll be able to step away/forward from all those influences and reach new and unique heights very soon. It's almost like AI, at first you can witness the learning process but then it finally hits that spot where all bets are off, the spaceship travelling to places truly unknown.
What a talented guitarist, Matteo can play high-speed solo efforless and so smothly as his breath, no wonder the World's guitarist finally has the new fresh unique star shinning
Just when I think I have the sound of this song pinned down, it changes. It bleeds seamlessly from a hard rock sound to country western, back to hard rock, then prog as fuck, and then somehow manages to end up sounding like the best Opeth song I've yet to hear.
There are many virtuosos on the guitar. Few have a specific technique. Even fewer can fluently span multiple genres in a single song. The ones who can do all of that and have a fantastic melodic talent you can count on the finger of one hand. Matteo Mancuso is one of these limited bunch. In this song alone I can hear hints of Satriani, Santana, Vai, Dream Theatre, Marillion, Queensryche, Al Di Meola, and many others. Grande Matteo! Avanti così!
I've often wondered where else a human being could take the six string electric guitar. I'm still left wondering but, standing on the shoulders of giants, Matteo has reset the bar! And uniquely so!
Probably one of the few guitar instrumentals in the last decade that moved the needle... Exceptional feel and timing - the size of the pocket is large.😂

besides the great music and great playing, also a great video with a great location 😍
Thank you, I really love your music and riffs. I wish I was younger and could start again! 🤗
Mostruoso e fenomenale
I'm back again. This is virtuosic fusion but not show off-y. Always truly musical. Loving ALL the musicians here. Reminds me of seeing the Jimi Hendrix Experience for the first time -- a massive update!
Superb trio and phenomenal playing from Matteo. I'm surprised that Rick Beato hasn't featured Matteo, I can just see him going crazy listening to those high-speed runs.
Rick Beato does not miss a beat. He’ll mention him soon enough.👍
I've mentioned it in comments before a couple times but I'm just a small fish. It might be that he is respectfully letting Matteo build a platform based on his own merits and will eventually reach out to him.
@@andreashofmeyr9583 I just left Rick a message on Matteo today in the comment section of the Tears for Fears live video Beato put out today. Everyone should do the same! Bomb Rick today!
What is there to feature. He has some good technique but nothing to add to any real musical discussion. These guys are a dime a dozen on youtube. This song in particular, I just don't feel it. This music is about 30 years behind its time.
@@rodneybrown4304 The great Al Dimeola does not agree with your assessment and I would be more prepared to listen to him rather than an unknown quantity such as yourself.
Cleanest guitar tone player Ive heard in awhile.
Nice. Can hear the Guthrie and influence from Ner Ner
Without a pick...
Love the Hoodies he's always wearing! I guess we have a new style name "Hoodie Guitar Rock". LOL!
Ahah🤣...but there's something other beyond the hoodies, differently by some rappers...
Killer cut and shout out to the bass player and drummer too!
TIGHT and LYRICAL. Love it.
Lyrical??
@@JamesDean-p5wwell, the guitar speaks. With very good phrasing so yea it's musically lyrical
Descubro por casualidad a Matteo.
virtuoso,grande.......muy grande,impresionante,etc,etc,etc.........
Why can't I like it more than once?
Phenomenal guitarist tour tour tour then tour again, share these skills around the world 🤟
Wow, very cool!
My fingers have cramps just watching. I can hear Matteo's influences in his playing, but his expression of those influences is unique. The entire trio is fantastic! Awesome bass tone, reminds me of Jeff Berlin.
I agree. Very good comment.
Great!
My brain just melted. Jeff Beck, Shawn Lane and Tuck Andress have had their DNA spliced and fused into this guy. I thought it was decent at first and then...BAM!! I was sucked in. This guy motors on another level. I would gladly go see Matteo play live. Incredible, just incredible.
I see him live. I can confirm what you said. Stunning concert.
Claro
Completamente de acuerdo!! Bestial!
Since I saw him shred Donna Lee crazy fast a few years ago, I've watched most Matteo vids... He really is beyond incredible, that technique gives him amazing freedom! 🔥👏💯
I've heard these amazing virtuoso guitarists over the years. I was waiting for Matteo to get nasty. He Does! 3:44 🤘😈🤘👏💥Amazing!!
Top music video of the YEAR!
everything about his playing is superb - don't stop
I wasn't expecting that badass bridge. Astonishing!
This is amazing! Reminds me of classic Steve Morse Band but the style of guitar playing is uniquely you. Absolute fire
I know EXACTLY what you mean!!
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes he finally released that bit from the Promo Video. MSG surely loves this
Love the tasteful licks and dynamics going on! Bravo!
Fabulous technique, marvelous timing, incredible tone, amazing music, I love it! 👍❤️
i know there a re great guitarists out there, super fast and technical and or bluesy, but this guy is in a higher level in many ways, melodically and technically speaking incredible, great composition, refreshing to hear something as creative and not just a copy in sound and style
At last a very correct comment! Who speaks of "only technique", dont has any musical sensitivity. MM Is a very rare chemical complex of technique, taste and soul. It's very difficult to find these three qualities together in a unique musician
YES and YES!!!
Great !!
3:43 the moment Matteo goes haywire the producer blew 100 knot wind in his face got me :D hahaha
Please, please , MORE! That's the most satisfying rocking tune I have heard in a long time!
21 july album out
Very beautiful music ❤
Bringing back the days of "taking listeners through a musical journey".
Love the overall mixolydian bluesy color of the tune. ❤❤🔥🔥🤘🏼
You young man are
THE GREATEST 🎸 👍
ciao ✌️
WOW... grande Matteo!!! 🔝💥🔥
Just when I think I have the sound of this song pinned down, it changes. It bleeds seamlessly from a hard rock sound to country western, back to hard rock, then prog as fuck, and then somehow manages to end up sounding like the best Opeth song I've yet to hear.
I knew that it's going to be badass - and it is.
Matteo, you are more precious than all the diamonds beneath the earth. Your sound is a perfect inner reflection of the universe.
Grandioso!!
