Europe / North America decided to dismantle China at the Bilderberg meeting in 2010. Then, the massmedia that are working for the Bilderberg group, started an anti China campaign in 2016. The West wanted to control the 4th Industrial Revolution, which means control 5G, hence the attack on Huawei. Guess who is a top industrialist member of the Bilderberg group? Wallenberg family from Sweden, which owns Ericsson = 5G. Sweden media since 2016 have always been extremely anti China. It's my theory, as well as the virus was release by that group in order to f.. K China. Well, they failed, and now the West look like a headless chicken running around.

    • @sylvainracine1678

Why the media are all anti China and just talk about the negative? Easy, they work for Bilderberg, Reuters, AFP, AP WORK for Bilderberg. The West is controlled l by Nazist billionnaires.

Unfortunately I can't give any financial support Cyrus but if I can do it I can support your cause if your doing what I think your doing.. lol. As a fellow Canadian I just want you to know. I have been watching US interference in not only Chinas affairs but against foreign nations all over the world via media manipulation, hate spewing, divide and conquer BS.. and now it is infiltrating Canada and we just can't let it happen imo. Look at the damage they did in hk. Look at the lies of Chinas human rights violations made by the ones who are openly committing human rights violations all the time and no one says shit sbout that right? Now US is pumping out more BS garbage like lab theories against China and saying, 'scientists across the nations are coming out alarmed with info that covid was made in a wuhan lab and US must demand investigation? Well all those scientists from universities across the nation came from within the same country. Why did not one scientist from the other 96 percent of the world come out? Now I I see ads and smear campaigns by US and other influencers running ads about how Trudeau is the reason for Americans losing jobs because he won't open our border and some guy in a lab coat saying that he doesn't understand why he doesn't listen to science because apparently mr. lab coat says according to his science, our border should have opened months ago and I also people insinuating that he is intentionally doing stuff like that because he is an evil dictator who wants to tank the economy on purpose because he is a communist who wants people depending on the government so he can rule us with an iron fist? Or opinion posts by people with no credentials in economics saying economic gurus say that Trudea is ruining the economy because he is spending on weath redistribution and investing in people and again, trying to make people too dependent on government. WTF? If people can't depend on government who can they depend on? The article was writen by a Canadian conservative but I question if she is working in Canadas best interests or on behalf of some outside influences best interests? They ran a story about the Uyghurs yesterday and the comments were all anti China hateful crap, but I saw one comment that said. 'I am from Xinjiang and a Canadian citizen, please stop this!!' And people are replying with shit like, go home zippy and other negative shit. Then I respond with 'maybe go back down to your hole troll' and it wouldn't post because it didn't meet standards.. or 'narrative' is more like it. So I made a complaint about it and reported it as disturbing content and said it was racist bullshit that was false information because I just saw that China let in Muslim media and foreign leader in to see for themselves and they were praising China for their kindness and compassion for the Muslims and minority groups like Uyghurs and I take there word over US who hasn't had a great history of showing love towards Muslims. For Canadian news you should be better than this'.. they didn't immediately pull it but they heard me. Enough is enough.. you know? As Canadians we need to push back. Otherwise we will have our government 'captured' by corporate capitalists, then it's 'capture,' the media, privatize, defund and dismantle our healthcare and education systems, sell out our liquor and any other government controled markets, then all the workers with fair wages and pensions get those hollowed out and end up being nothing more than corporate commodities for the one percent. I know how this shit works and see what it has done to our southern neighbors and unfortunately the divide and conquer fake news propaganda machine works well. We must fight back.. Nice to see CBC is running a documentary online later tonight about the deep rot in American journalism and how it is designed to promote hatred and division. And had a scientist on today to call out against US lab theory and saying that US is not being transparent enough, that even if they investigate and found it was from a lab that it doesn't really make much difference over the handling of the virus, and he also said that he felt it can be damaging and causes more harm than good because there is a very good chance that it could just go on forever and never be 100 percent solved. So it isn't like we are just going to bow down and join US in any anti China propaganda BS but the propaganda machine is strong and if it works and we get those convervstives in we are done. When they wanted to allie with us and declare genocide the conservatives were all over it and forced a vote but when it came time to vote, the liberal party got up and walked out. Then all over mainstream it's 'Trudeau is a coward and Chinese commie lap dog who stabbed his allies in the back ect.. Even those fox wannabes at sky news Australia were spreading hate and saying the same anti Canada pro US bullshit.. I get why they are saying defund the CBC and O'toole is blasting Trudeau becsuse he should do his duty and quit the UN because Canada should stand with US and Israel. At first I thought it was just a campaign strategy but I don't think that it's that simple anymore. So my opinion on the future of China Canada relations is.. It depends on if we roll over or stand up to fight. I don't know, I just know you are a fellow Canadian who might want to hear this. As far as myself goes, I feel if we don't do something than an evil empire is going to do the democracy by force thing and it won't stoo until it takes over and controls to rule China, Canada and probably the rest of the world. I can't say for certain and not making solid accusations but i am entitled to my opinion so.. there it is. I don't know what to do about it though.. I will support you financially when I can but was also pondering a channel ,Canada first' or something to try to spread awareness and gain more support. But that's just a thought for now. The best way to fight ignorance is with awarenesd, education and promotion unity over division. I feel once someone sees it for what it is it can't be unseen so the truth is a good thing to have on your side but it's just a matter of getting it out and people to listen. Good luck. I watch an independent US journalist, Kim Iverson on TH-cam who just came out and said US is trying to pass a bill to ban all US independent journalists from TH-cam so to join her website just in case. But TH-cam is a good platform so if they ban her she won't have a voice outside of her private site. I don't think that applies to independent Canadian journalists though and if it does, it just shows how powerful the propaganda machine can be. Funny how it's independent news they are after rather than fake fox cnn msnbc. ect.. which solves my case.. lol anyways good work and thank you for all you do. I am here if you need support and will let you know if anything becomes of the Canada first crap I was thinking of. I really don't wsnt to. I am shy of appearing or speaking on camera. Lol I do photography and play around with shooting and editing videos though and getting pretty good at premier pro and such. So in a way I feel obligated to try even though I don't want to..lmao. just a thought to think about i guess. I will let you know if i decide to though if you don't mind though ok. Anyway take care and have a good day. Sorry for such a long rant but I had to say something so.. At least I did that. Peace

America has interfered in the governments of over 80 countries worldwide during the last century. Almost every country the US has run interference in, they have been left in economic ruin. It's the American way of remaining the best country in the world. Just look at all those South American countries like Bolivia, Chile, and Venezuela just to name a few then look over in the middle east, where were the WMDs in Iraq? You destroy their entire country and economy and never found those WMDs. Now you want to smear China for Uighur genocides with satellite pictures and sketchy propaganda footage because China is growing beyond the US.

The Meng situation is totally resulted from CA's poor decision and judgement in the first place. A wise government would not be foolish enough to arrest Meng in the first place.

Just read the comments by Canadian netizens on social media about China and anything Chinese. Pure racist cancer. And it's been that way for YEARS, not just since COVID or the two Michaels' arrest. Also, Vancouver is now dubbed the anti-Asian hate capital of North America, according to a recent article published in Bloomberg. The next runner up is Montreal. Today, they have adopted the philosophy and practises of our neighbour, that of a superiority complex, disrespect, threats and bullying. This will not be a good ending. Our political leaders, both Trudeau and O'Toole come off as kids on a playground trying to impress the leader/puppet master, the US president. In the end, the US will lose all respect for us, as will China and the world. Great job guys! Try showing some respect for a change, and of course listen and you will see the truth. Cultural differences exist btwn China and SE Asia, the Middle East, Africa and S America. It’s relationship with them are not nearly so caustic. The cultural arrogance and possessiveness of the West, their dismissal of non-Western cultures are what makes cultural differences a problem.
The funny thing is the West, especially the US, violates the values they think give them superiority far more than the non-West. They bash China and Russia for being dictators. But the US is a dictator on the international stage. They think they are entitled to tell other countries who to trade with and even what regime to have. They go on and on about human rights. But they have a low threshold for bombing other countries and deprive millions of the most basic human right, the right to live. They brag about their freedom of speech, but how tolerant are they of opposing narratives?
The problem is not Western values vs non-Western values. The West values aren’t in play. The problem is just plane old bullying by the powerful.

The problem between China and the West, from the eyes of many S.E. Asians is that it seems that for the first time in a probably more than a millennium, there is a Non-Western civilization that has risen to the forefront of global development in many fronts. Given the length of time the West has dominated the world, it is understandable why this epic rise coming from an unfamiliar civilization is making many in the West uneasy. The issue lies, however, in answering the question "How does the incumbent power (the West) deals with this?" Does it learn the changes and adjust what is needed to prosper in the new environment, or does it put up a wall and refuse to acknowledge that it exists and is inevitable? I and my family and friends in S.E. Asia may not agree with everything the Chinese government does, but we as a people do not antagonize the Chinese. We cannot do such a thing not only because it is unreasonable to shut out all opportunities for negotiations, or god forbid look to war as an answer, but because we have been living in peaceful coexistence with them for thousands of years. We lose on some issues to China, but we also gain on some things as well. Even on the issues we have sticking points with with the Chinese government, our government (at least from the news, my own and friends and family ideas) strongly believe there is credence in talking at the negotiations table. In the end, we see that with the rise of China, the people in this world have another good choice(s) on how they want to live. By this, I do not mean political ideology. I am purely talking in material terms. We have more choices in travel, education, goods and services, medical, innovation, etc.. I could probably go on much longer. If we all (people in this world) work together, we have a terrific chance at a better world in probably ways that will be epic. If we choose to fight it out in the battle field, be it economically, culturally, scientifically, and militarily, we guarantee ourselves a VERY SEVERE degradation of our livelihood, if we even have one at all at the end of that road. My only wish is for everyone in every country to talk to each other reasonably, find a common space, share the wealth, and enjoy our lives as we build for the next generation.

However, given the news I am reading from Globe and Mail these days, I feel like Canada media has been captured by the American and Australian mass media.

To differentiate between CHINA influence and interference, it is imperative to consider these activities under three categories: covert, coercion, and corruption. All 3 are approved methods by the " Chinese style communism" AS it's Foreign Policy.

As a Chinese Canadian, I admire Pierre Trudeau for his strong leadership and courage against the negative narratives at the time to start normalizing relationships with China. It has been proven that he is on the right side of history!
The Chinese government has done a lot for its people and is continuing to do so. I firmly believe that China has no intention to impose its values and system onto other countries unlike the United States!
I am surprised that the current Canadian main stream media only have US and Canadian sides of the story but not from the Chinese side.
I am worried that Canada would become the 51th state of USA in ideology and relationships to the rest of the world.
Most importantly, thank you for taking the time to research and present the alternative viewpoints covering both sides. You have demonstrated open-mindedness to solve controversial issues for the greater good of both Canada and China.

Canada has an obligation to honour the extradition treaty with the United States. However, Canada is not a robot nor vassal state. It is capable of independent thought and judgement. Canada should have had the wherewithal to recognize the context within which Meng Wanzhou was being detained: that the Americans were using the arrest as a political ploy to undermine China. With this understanding, Canada should have had the presence of mind to reject the action on the grounds that it violated Canadian values and placed Canada in an untenable situation, which unfortunately did manifest in the Two Michaels fiasco. Our government failed us and we should be deeply ashamed.

There are not many brave reporters that dare to stand with the Chinese side. Thank you for a balance report.
I also would like to add that the chinese are fully aware of what is happening in their country and globally.
Most Chinese would bitch about their government if there was an issue. For example, some 20 years ago, Chinese used to bitch about the corruption in China. The government took severe measures and many public officials were removed, assests confiscated and some were executed. Now i don't hear about those anymore.
What Chinese hate most, is the west telling a lie and slandering their government. This invoked anger not only in China, but asians in general too. It displays the condescending attitude of the west against China and Asians too.

As an overseas Chinese in Canada, I am worried about the Canadian society, or should I say, the western world, in general. The problem of having very biased China-related reports will not harm China, instead, it harms Canadian, and society as a whole. I have spent almost 12 years here in Canada and the US. I saw many cities in North America had not developed at all when comparing to what they looked like back in the 1970s. Local people only care about local news without knowing the development of the outside world, including Asia, South America, and Africa. When they read bad reports about China, what they really get is a fake sense of superiority, which serves themselves and, of course, the politicians because they would not worry about losing votes and power and money as long as people feel good about themselves.
However, in long run, we should know that the fall of a nation, a society starts with not knowing that you are behind.
It is really not the China I worry about.

What I m about to say will definitely trigger a lot of people out there, but I will say it anyway cause I prefer to be real about it.
The only possible way I see the 5 eyes(with some exceptions to New Zealand) and China burying the hatchet at this point is for the 5 eyes countries to experience their own traumatic event(akin to their own “Opium War“ or “Century of humiliation“.. doesn t have to be that long, but whatever) that would really humble the people and get them to see their own deficiencies first hand. China obviously had to learn the hard way, and now leads the way in terms of technological development and innovation. A lot of western leaders still like to point fingers, and talk about human rights, this and that while conveniently forgetting how most of their own countries got ahead in the first place via imperialism, exploiting overseas colonies, etc.
When people have had it too good for too long, they become indulgent and are unable to relate to the perspectives of others, unless they get similar experiences. You may feel free to disagree if you wish, but I stand by this point either way.

However, if we can reach a level of acceptance on those differences, there is still plenty of common ground that can be utilised to foster relations and to the betterment of BOTH parties.
