    I am from MELAKA, Malaysia.
Since 15th century China already trade With Melaka. They never conquered us, only trade. BUT the west Portuguese, English and Dutch came with cannons to conquer us and said we belong to them. They each stayed for years.

Actually China has been trading with this region for thousands of years. If you are a history buff you will have to refer to the chinese records to know about this region historic past. Since Melaka was founded only in 1402, a chinese admiral, a trade envoy started to visit Melaka in 1403, a year after its establishment.
Once the Europeans managed to find their way to this region, they started to invade the kingdoms. Except for Siam, all kingdoms in south east asia were conquered by the Europeans.. portuguese, spanish, dutch, french, english, american for more than 400 hundred years.

It's all Pivot to Asia containment.
This is why the United States keeps talking about China, and the United States blames China for its wolf warrior diplomacy. Americans feels angry when they failed to bully China.
The way the United States wants to maintain its hegemony is to trip up its opponents. It's the equivalent of putting nails in Bolt's shoes.

These days many children know that through cooperation one can achieve more than through competition and fighting is bad.. Visionary is someone who knows where humanity "has to be going" like Confucius who 2,500 years ago said that, When the perfect order prevails, the world is like a home shared by all. Virtuous and capable people are elected to public offices; trust and peace are the maxims of living among the people..."
The closest thing Kishore has said is that we are all on one ship and the ship has no captain. I have not heard him to say, what steps humanity has to take, to have a world governing system to avoid wars and bloodshed. And to guide humanity out of collective danger it is facing.
If he has written anything expanding on the analogy of ship, please share it.

    • @seeker2118
      @seeker2118 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@TheVafa95 The analogy he shared about the planet being a ship and we being all passengers in different cabins is from his book, I think "The Great convergence" where he goes deeper into the great dilemmas humanity now face. The idea of putting our differences aside and ignoring our selfish tendencies as if we don't learn to work together we will end together. His other titles: "Has China Won" and the very short but profound and in my opinion prophetic "Has the West Lost it" are extremely good as they basically predicted the issues that we face today and his suggestions on how these issues could have been avoided. His books will be more interesting for people from the global south as we are better able to relate, but more difficult to accept by Westerners who hold on to a sense of entitlement and superiority.

Indonesian here, I watched what is happening in Ukraine with trepidation. This war should not have happened. I believe that NATO should be disbanded after the end of cold war and Warsaw pact was disbanded. Instead the US keep it going and expanding into Russia border. The consequence is what we are seeing is happening in Ukraine today.
Now, I'm also seeing that the US has intention to replay what is happening in Ukraine, in Asia. Despite some Asian countries having territorial disputes with China, the region was largely at peace for decades. Today, tension is so high, and in every hot zone, you could see the US hand in it. Like the Nancy Pelosi's ill advised visit to Taiwan, that created nothing but troubles. I could see war break out in the near future as long as countries in Asia keep letting the US provocations uncheck.

What happened to HK? There was a HK man called Chan Hung ka murdered his girlfriend in Taiwan while on holiday there. He fled back to HK. As the crime was committed overseas, HK police couldn't do anything about except charged him with fraud as he spent on his murdered girlfriend credit card. However, there is no extradition treaty between HK and Taiwan. The HK government tried to change the legislation so that the man could be extradited to Taiwan to face justice. Unfortunately the media instigated the protest and riot. The government backed down and the legislation didn't get passed. Until today, the murderer is till roam free in HK. Isn't that ridiculous! If people think that they are on the protesters side, think about what you actually stand for!

Knowing the Americans care so much about the human rights, freedom and democracy for the people in Taiwan, please issue them Green Card or US citizenship and accept them either as refugees or immigrants with open arms. After that, China can take over the Taiwan island peacefully. Problem solved !

No we in Asia does not mind with China rise . It’s the US that imagines that it’s a threat without solid evidence and it’s the one who coerces her so called allies to gang up against China like a bully gathering up his weaker counterparts to a corner their victim in the school yard. The mediator is doing a great job . Thumbs up for Prof Kishore too for his amazing great wisdom, so much needed in this chaotic world. He is a pillar for promoting peace.
Taiwan is the first island chain in the south China seas and is only three hours from Fujian Province of China, therefore it’s of strategic interest to US hegemonic ambition.

Western countries have come to Africa for centuries to rob Africa of its resources. They should be admitting what they have done. Some are rich because of the resources they took from Africa.
They never thought of helping Africa to develop. They Subjugated Africa. They took the political power, economic power and then made them therefore socially to have no power at all. Africa have to fight to liberate themselves. Western Countries were never there to help, they were here to rob. After decolonisation they continued to do so. Western countries could no longer use political power, they influence it indirectly but they held on to the economic levers of these countries.
Western countries were dominating, there were benefitting, they were doing nothing to help Africa. They created banks that were instrument of subjugation Africa.
Western countries would say for an example to the IMF ( The International Monetary Fund)
when the IMF will say Africa country is in trouble, can you help, it will put conditions that will put Africa in a worser situation than before, so it was not helping.
Meanwhile China is coming and saying here we are, we know where Africa come from. They are here to work with Africa. For the first time when china came here, highways, railway, ports and infrastructure began to imagine the continent of Africa that where never there before china were here all the time. China is working with Africa, focap is one example that china as a country is ready to sit down and discuss how they can so to help, how do they relate to one another. And perhaps many other forecast summits that took place before people are not very clear this forecast that has taken place here in South Africa has made matters to be more clearer than any other time the kind of pledges that china has made and the kind of relations that it has with different countries.
China is not at Africa to Rob or to colonize. China is here to help Africa develop. President Xi Jinping said it himself they need to develop together. They are together making progress. For an example the issue of infrastructure energy many others, nobody took care of these matters, even if they said to western countries that they need a road they never came. If you talk to china, china says let them come to help to make the roads.
Now it is even voting money so that they can quicken the decision that has been taken by
the AU to create the infrastructure continental. China say that they have taken that decision here are the resources for that energy, they're together.
Western countries just feeling they are being replaced because they were here doing nothing for the people in Africa while doing something for themselves. China is going to help as it helped them in the struggle to liberate themselves from the Western countries. China is now helping Africa to develop so that Africa can be economically independent stand on their own and take their own decisions.

Western countries enslaved Africa. Took their diamonds and minerals.
When china came with $. Building their roads, ports, bridges and etc. And then the west ask "dear Africa, why you work with China"
This is a classic example like" raping the same country many times over. Leave. Then ask" why you sleep with China?
How low can the west go?

It is so funny that this Orville guy criticized that China being hegemonic! Just like what the bible says in the book of Matthew, "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in other's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?" Which country has 1000 military bases around the world? Which country has warplanes and warships 7000 miles from home 24X7 threatening another country at their doorstep? Which country overthrew 60 governments that they don't like? Which country conducted over 500 military interventions since WW2? Which country is constantly interfering with other countries internal affairs, seeking conflicts, confrontation, trade wars, cold wars and hot wars? As professor Mahbubani once said, "It is not only impossible, but also immoral for one country to suppress the economic and technological development of another country!" Who is the ultimate hegemon?
