Very honest speaking Liv, I haven't seen as detailed, thorough, well explained and exhaustive tutorial of forearm stand as yours. You covered everything, from how to increase strength and flexibility, to how to move into a forearm stand in different ways, how to hold in the pose in correct way, the dos and don'ts and removing the fear to fall. I would recommend all beginners to watch this video. And thank you Liv for the hard work you are doing, for the concepts you are teaching your audience in-depth . You are a great teacher and I wish you all the very best for your channel and your future endeavours !! Rise & Shine ❤️
You're really amazing. That tip about the spine being capable of being in shapes other than perfectly straight actually helped me. The hand the position too..... I've actually started catching my balance I'm forearm stand now thanks to you. Yoga is a beautiful journey.
I have only recently discovered your channel & this has been the most helpful pincha video I have seen. This pose has remained out of reach for so long for me for all the reasons you've mentioned but your wall use explanation @ around 14:00 & drills to make it safer are especially useful as I've never come across this method before. Thank you very much for all your tips & drills, I'm really looking forward to practicing them now ❤️
Thank you for posting this video. After years of weekly (or twice weekly) yoga classes, I've been trying to maintain a daily practice, which I started during the pandemic lock down. I've mastered the basics of urdhva dhanurasana and ardha chandrasana, things I was never able to do with only a weekly practice. This is the next pose I'd like to learn. Following your advice I've already added some shoulder weight repetitions for chaturanga, which I think will help with pincha mayurasana too. 2024 goal!
You are so wonderful! I’ve been practicing pincha for a few months and can actually see a lot of progress - but I wish wish WISH I’d seen this video at the beginning! You explain everything so clearly and have filled in the gaps in my knowledge, everything makes much more sense now. Thank you so much, what a brilliant channel!
Thank you Liv. I've just been learning how to call out of pincha at class this evening. I will be following this video when I practice and succeed in achieving this inversion ❤
I watched your video today and I can bet this is the most helpful and honest video on Pincha. Thank you ❤️ I smiled when you said "learn to fall"., because that's what holds us back..will start Pincha practice from tomorrow. 😁
Dear Liv, thank you so much for such a thorough tutorial on pincha.... So far no success for me but I know I have weak core, stiff shoulder and tight hamstrings 🙂.... So working along all of these things along learning pincha. The day I'll have success.... You will be the first one to know xx thanks again
It’s great that you’re able to identify the bits that are holding you back, it’s not always a quick journey but hopefully one you enjoy each step of! Good luck! 💕
Been avoiding this for too long. I am a handstand lover, Ex-anti-headstander and newly open minded pose positive yogi again who is looking with envy on people performing Pincha for way too long. Lets get at it. Do you have a full class that builds up to this? Love your content and the clarity and completeness of your tutorials. some of the best I have seen so far. Honestly.
Thank you, Liv. I mastered headstands a few years ago and would like to move past them. I’ve been working on arm and shoulder strength lately and I think it’s time to give this a try :-)
I've been practicing this almost daily and have been struggling to balance when up. I recorded myself after your instruction, and sure enough, the wall is throwing my balance off! My next step is to learn how to fall so i can safely practice without the wall!
Wow!! Sending loads of love from India! This is one of the awesome tutorial on pincha I have come across in youtube! A complete drills to learn pinch mayurasana...will definitely include all these in my practice tomorrow. Will request you to make tutorial on jump back and jump through! My gratitude 🙏
Another great job!! Thank you, new to your channel.. 😍😍. Binge watching!! I've been practicing these poses lazily for months.. with your tips I'm stepping it up and coming into them much more safely!
Great tutorial thank you! Do you also do 1 hour practices where you incorporate the pincha and or other more advanced asanas? Would love to have a more challenging practice like this! 🙏🏼
Dear Liv, just discovered your channel, and I'd like to thank you for your detailed tutorials. Is that an Irish Setter on your couch? My two Irish Setters are always with me when I do Yoga!
I would do my best for this, its not easy at all. But I'm optimistic, One day will reach to ''hand stand'', so as u say before that I should practice this,...
with the end goal being the handstand, I found many "guides"recommending mastering the headstand first. But after exercising towards it I realised I just don't wand putting weight on my head. In terms of difficulty, is the forearm stand a lot more dificult than the headstand? (I am guessing it requires more strengh in the arms but other than that?) could it be an alternative? And thank you for the very thorough, detailed and well presented process. it is really helful!
Awesome thanks. Learning tiger bend. Ridiculous to realise after a decade of handstands, handstand push ups and even one arm training, that I can’t hold a head stand or elbow stand😂.
Thank you so much for this, Liv! Such clear & detailed explanations and I’m so excited to progress on my pinch’s journey! I know this a bit of a vague question, but often would say I should incorporate the drills into my week to build strength?
Glad it’s helpful! Working on your strength 3 times a week is a nice idea to start with, but really, any strength work is better than no strength work, so just do as much as you have time for and enjoy doing!
Thank you! Although if i am looking to revise a specific scene, thats awfully hard to find because there is just so much talking. It would be even more helpful if you made more voice over where we cant see you talking, but instead just hear you while you are doing the thing you explain over and over.
@@Livinleggings I appreciate your explanations very much and especially that I can see your facial expression while you talk. This gives me much more information than a voiceover ever could - please do NOT change that! ❤💛💚💙

Aw thank you so much for such a lovely comment! I super appreciate it, thanks for watching!
You never ever kick legs up to do any hand stand for many reasons, it is only a core and lower bak work and by doing that you maintain the alignment.
So agree. Well explained, And so sweet voice and face to watch.
This video needs more credit!
aw thank you so much!
Hands down my favourite tutorial for pincha; the advice that she gives is realistic and accessible to yogis of varying levels!
The tips of learning to fall are excellent. Gives me more confidence to keep trying. Thank you.
After watching many videos.. Finally I got it.. Thanks a lot
You're really amazing. That tip about the spine being capable of being in shapes other than perfectly straight actually helped me. The hand the position too.....

This was AMAZING! I finally got a hold in pincha after many many failed attempts! Thank you Liv 🥰
Yay!! So happy to hear this! 🥳🥳🥳
How many I wonder, hahaha...
I've been looking for a pinch tutorial a lot, and this is definitely one of the best ones out there. Thanks!
I love the way u talk about this, its like science Class, first we have to learn what is going on.... I love your channel bx of these reasons

Very helpful and great explanation. She answered questions I've been having for weeks. Thank you!!
Just a perfect tutorial. Thanks a lot 🙏👍
Thank you so much for the "reverse wall" hint! I just nailed a foream stand with my legs split and bent, but that's a start, isn't it?
Thank you so much for the very-well-put-together video. This is exactly what I was looking for, cheers! #nailedit
