He's gotten better after visiting Pyrrha's statue at least....not completely self loathing of himself at least anymore. Still I don't think has completely gotten over his death. Cinder needs to die for that to happen. Much like Yang and Blake is slowly happening ESPECIALLY after Adam's death. For example their flirting more in vol 7. The same could happen for Jaune and Ruby...though being their the main protagonist...things would be more different with them.

Even though I ship them, I like how they've just been platonic best friends for the entire course of the series so far. It's rare to see a healthy male and female friendships, especially ones that don't become romantic over time.
it is rare I spot 5 different animes and 2 cartoons that does this. I always find it annoying that they rush a relationship. but I hate it when they force characters together knowing full well they hate each other. like can't we just have more normal relationship build ups? it's not really that hard. talking about both friends and couples.
Jaune's semblance is linked to his aura and he shares it....so he may not have to touch the area to help with the healing factor. This was the first time he was using it and may have assumed it has to be physical touch...I mean it was still doing so even if Ruby pulls his hand away to see what he's doing. That's how I least thought.
It's fine if people don't ship them but don't insult me or other people when we do. I'm not a fan of White Rose and I don't insult it either. Even before Pyrrha Ruby was there for Jaune at his lowest in vol 1, and gave him advice that made him a better leader and huntsman. When Ruby was feeling low and hopeless in vol 3 it was Jaune who helped make her smile again by reminding her how dedicated he and their friends were to following her, because they believed in her. Romantic or platonic, it's a wonderful relationship.
Well actually for Ruby seeing her personality and character Ruby still easier forgiving Jaune and said is not his fault because when we see Phyrra killed Penny by accident(thanks for Emerald for that) Ruby just forgiving her, now for Jaune well that's is the real issue😅
Sarina Alexa Given the novels that Blake reads, she’s a secret romantic and I think Sun has a weakness for cute things. As for Yang, well she wants her sister to be happy and I think she’ll be supportive of Jaune and Ruby getting together.

I love how its with Jaune that Ruby shows her vulnerable side that she hides from everyone even Yang and how effortlessly he picks her up since day one.
Watching this after Volume 9 Chapter 7 hurts that much more. Neither of them were in the right. They were both drowning in their own pain and lashed out, hurting the other. RT and CRWBY CANNOT ignore this and simply have it taken care of off screen, like what they did with RBY learning about Jaune and Penny. These types of scenes should never be left completely on off screen, they're extremely emotional and important to the characters that they need to be brought up so that it can be addressed and the characters can grow/react properly.
They have too much chemistry, like, the only reason they aren't together together is because most main characters don't get to have actual romantic relationships before the story's ending
No self-insert fantasy would go through as much trauma as poor Juane. He also wouldn’t be such a uniquely fascinating male character. I just want Ruby to just be a little older and I’d ship them. Give them a year or two on the island.

I think it’s the name of a noble household that had a rose as the family symbol. They were knights too. I really didn’t think people would look for that kind of accuracy just for a ship name, but it sure surprised me.
What I love most about Ruby and Jaune’s relationship is that they’re both equally socially awkward and are each the central focus of this show in that they both struggle with what is means to be a leader or a hero. Yet, they’re both so natural about it and that’s a warm welcome. I mean, they’re not meta humans or superheroes. Just a couple of teenagers longing for a purpose. Despite the endless hatred this show gets from haters, I find the journey of the main characters to be endearing with how relatively “normal” and “human” they are.
I feel we're going to get a lot of interaction between Jaune and Ruby in volume 8. Oscar won't be with them. So we don't have to deal with the annoying and delusional shippers for Rosegarden. I mean they had to move the plot along. You have to remember it's slow burn romances....that's why Bumblebee hasn't even kissed or talked about their relationship being something more yet. Cinder is going to go after Ruby now she's got the relic. Planning to murder her...this could be what jump starts it to romantic. Jaune wouldn't be able to bare the thought of losing Ruby. I always pray that a guy shows an interest in Ruby.....and Jaune subtly is very jealous. Showing he starting to see her more than just a friend...but isn't fully aware of it. Maybe Nora has to address how obvious his feelings are for Ruby.

I think that's because Jaune's a pretty important character. He's a foil to Ruby, I'd go as far as to say he's a deuteragonist.

Even though I ship them, I like how they've just been platonic best friends for the entire course of the series so far. It's rare to see a healthy male and female friendships, especially ones that don't become romantic over time.
it is rare I spot 5 different animes and 2 cartoons that does this. I always find it annoying that they rush a relationship. but I hate it when they force characters together knowing full well they hate each other. like can't we just have more normal relationship build ups? it's not really that hard. talking about both friends and couples.
I ship them because their’s is the healthiest relationship out of everything so far. That’s still alive and not a current ship.

Jaune's semblance is linked to his aura and he shares it....so he may not have to touch the area to help with the healing factor. This was the first time he was using it and may have assumed it has to be physical touch...I mean it was still doing so even if Ruby pulls his hand away to see what he's doing. That's how I least thought.

Even before Pyrrha Ruby was there for Jaune at his lowest in vol 1, and gave him advice that made him a better leader and huntsman. When Ruby was feeling low and hopeless in vol 3 it was Jaune who helped make her smile again by reminding her how dedicated he and their friends were to following her, because they believed in her. Romantic or platonic, it's a wonderful relationship.

Watching this after Volume 9 Chapter 7 hurts that much more. Neither of them were in the right. They were both drowning in their own pain and lashed out, hurting the other. RT and CRWBY CANNOT ignore this and simply have it taken care of off screen, like what they did with RBY learning about Jaune and Penny. These types of scenes should never be left completely on off screen, they're extremely emotional and important to the characters that they need to be brought up so that it can be addressed and the characters can grow/react properly.
Nothing like people bonding over their shared trauma.

What I love most about Ruby and Jaune’s relationship is that they’re both equally socially awkward and are each the central focus of this show in that they both struggle with what is means to be a leader or a hero.
Yet, they’re both so natural about it and that’s a warm welcome.
I mean, they’re not meta humans or superheroes.
Just a couple of teenagers longing for a purpose.
Despite the endless hatred this show gets from haters, I find the journey of the main characters to be endearing with how relatively “normal” and “human” they are.
And the moment Jaune snaps, ruby crumbles down too
I hope they get together soon if not atleast around the end of the series because i ship them alot!

I feel we're going to get a lot of interaction between Jaune and Ruby in volume 8. Oscar won't be with them. So we don't have to deal with the annoying and delusional shippers for Rosegarden. I mean they had to move the plot along. You have to remember it's slow burn romances....that's why Bumblebee hasn't even kissed or talked about their relationship being something more yet. Cinder is going to go after Ruby now she's got the relic. Planning to murder her...this could be what jump starts it to romantic. Jaune wouldn't be able to bare the thought of losing Ruby. I always pray that a guy shows an interest in Ruby.....and Jaune subtly is very jealous. Showing he starting to see her more than just a friend...but isn't fully aware of it. Maybe Nora has to address how obvious his feelings are for Ruby.
