Yeah. I remember that. I even have this alternate timeline within my very own universe with my own fictional series. In this alternate timeline, me and other protagonists in my universe, including a certain someone you know as *the king of the monsters* , got taken to the world of Remnant through some ancient portal left on Earth, built by an unknown civilization that not even the people on Earth today know of. And how we stopped Pyrrha’s death, you may ask? Well, I can tell you. Well, during the Battle of Beacon, I came up with a plan. We each sent large groups to help the Huntsmen and Huntresses fight off the Grimm invasion, the White Fang, and each member of Cinder’s Faction. (So what we did even stopped what Adam did to Yang in Volume 3. Oh, and I also somehow stopped Emerald from making Pyrrha hallucinate during her tour at battle with Penny, which stopped Penny’s death.) I knew what I had to do since I had a Force vision of what canonly happened in Volume 3. Anyways, with how we saved Pyrrha, I went after Cinder, and made our way to assist Ozpin before Cinder even got the chance to kill him like she did in the actual show. There are some scenes I didn’t come up with, but I might come up with them eventually. Anyways, after Pyrrha went up into Beacon Tower to confront Cinder, I flew up to assist Pyrrha, then I crashed my way through the window and lunged at Cinder before she started to melt the Miló. And the Grimm Wyvern, a certain, large, *hard-to-destroy reptile* intercepted and attacked the Wyvern, who then had to fight him off before it crashes through Beacon Tower. And a certain *speedy blue hedgehog* sped up to help us confront Cinder. I didn’t come up with any other helpers yet, but I might once I start this crossover project. I also didn’t come up with how we defeated Cinder yet. But she does live, but just fell unconscious after intense battle damage. And Pyrrha was still alive and well in this timeline. I know this is not canon. But just because it’s not canon, doesn’t mean it’s bad.

Hope Jaune still has the honor of killing her in V9 or V10. With all of this being shown, it is just heartbreaking. Pyrrha was one of my favorite characters in this show and I do miss her very much.
I hope so, jaune needs that final closure, I like his grief Arc where he was slowly turning himself into a directed martyr, he would throw himself into combat against the enemy and do his part, look at when they killed a gheist, he went into combat with no weapons(don't think he had armour at the time), they did use him for comedic relief and to show how a regular person compares to the grimm and hunters. He eveuntal got better but he lost that edge that made him a wildcard

Its been 5 years 5 months and 3 weeks since my heart was destroyed, Pyrrha will always be my favorite character, I just hope to see her one more time in the show in someway
Tbh, post volume 9 it wouldn't surprise me if by the end of the series we find out that Pyrrha's soul chose a new destiny after visiting the tree and ends up coming back as someone else.
People should pay attention to what Jaune and Ruby are saying. We all grieve for Pyrrha, but not moving forward just because if her death would only insult her memory. She wouldn't want them to brood over her death. She would want them to move on with their lives and keep fighting even if she's not there. I think that was the message CRWBY and Pyrrha were sending with the statue scene. It seemed like Pyrrha was teaching Jaune one last lesson. I grieve about Pyrrha too, but we must acknowledge that no character in any show is safe from death, even ones fans are fond of. I and most of the fanbase have accepted her death. I can't understand why the rest won't
I also think it's meant to hint at Monty's philosophy: keep moving forward. There are some people who say that Miles and Kerry have 'ruined' the show since Monty died, and that the show itself should have died with him. Everything I've learned about Monty since I've found RWBY tells me that he would want the opposite. I don't think he himself would be disappointed in the direction the series has gone without him, and just abandoning it altogether would be an insult to his memory. Who better to finish his story than the friends he'd already entrusted with its writing before he'd even passed?
A wise man once said: “If someone has already passed away, they can not be brought back.” I have accepted Pyrrha’s passing, and as much as I miss her, she can’t be written back into the show at this rate. But at least we have fanfiction in which we can write stories of her death being prevented.
Don't get me wrong. I love Pyrrha and she's the best character in the series in volumes 1 - 3, but I'm doing my best not to let my grief and sadness affect me.
That's how I feel. It was sad what happened, but I feel like Pyrrha wouldn't want us to be stuck in sorrow forever. Sometimes, it's all about remembering the ones we lost with a warm smile, y'know?

I love that they made a Statue for Pyrrha in volume 6. If Pyrrha was very dead John will have never been stronger and have healing power too. I was very prude of her for trying to fight cinder and she is in heaven with human penny watching their friends moving forward on their lives now. I appreciate her death and I was a little sad about it but I know that I will see her can again in Rwby volume 4,6.

......... not a great time to remember for me.....I lost my dad around volume 6... statue scene and both songs for pyrha was my honest feeling......up till now I lost family and friends left and right, people I grew up with, people I consider family, took care of me, and even consoled me when I was still young....and yet...I'm still here.. This is why I srill stayed and enjoyed RWBY it grew up with me despite the broken part of it for the fandom that hates, dislikes, and even criticicized that's like me too, not everyone likes me and understanding with my antics during the time, , yet some people still enjoyed being with me despite my shortcomings and awful parts. But like the show (despite the behind the scenes and controversy) We both improved and HAVE evolved to be better, still carrying problems but still enjoyable and good intended in the end and as long as someone likes something from us that's all that matters, at least we have someone to share memories even if it wasn't very happy. What could he have honestly done? At that point Jaune couldn't have hoped to do anything to stop Cinder. Even in the situation he was on guard she could've just did that arrow trick she used on Pyrrha to kill Amber all the same. That's what Jaune's biggest regret in all of that was: that he wasn't strong enough to make a difference.

What I never understood/was never expained is, why was Ruby having flashbacks of Pyrrha's Destiny conversation when she wasn't even there when it happened?
If you think this is bad were all are gonna go nuts when she reincarnates in cinder and Jaune has to decide whether to kill her or not the whole two souls one body thing Monty foreshadowed at the beginning wasn't just about Ozpin.
Her death was tragic but I do find it a bit odd that Jaune and Ruby are the only ones who actually mourn her, true she was Jaune’s love interest and legitimately only interacted with him while Ruby personally saw her die but still no one else really seems to care. Another thing that’s odd about is that no one (aside from Jaune) had any type of relationship with Pyrrha (I’m pretty sure Ruby only spoke to her once), so Nora’s “just like we loved Pyrrha” rings a bit hollow.
I don’t entirely disagree with the criticism that the male characters in this show can sometimes overshadow the female characters, but at the same time l think it’s worth celebrating just how fantastically so many of said male characters break out of traditional male archetypes. Even characters like Qrow and Ozpin have deconstructed the archetypes they so obviously were based on in the beginning, while Ironwood has been turned into what is essentially a cautionary tale of toxic masculinity.
I personally find ironwoods downfall to be due to pride, lack of allies, internal enemies, he was a man who rose through the ranks of a miltilary and belive in law and order but kept finding flaws. he though he could wage a conventional war against Salem but failed as magic was a unknown force, he didn't know how to wage a war of politics or intrigue, ozpin constant chessmaster shit and the strain of command ruined him.
@@adammyers7383 yeah rens arc in volume 8 had similar points of toxic masculinity with how ren closed his feelings off till he exploded but he finally realised that he needed emotion to tie him to the people he was closing himself off to like Nora when they split off for different plans but that realisation led to his semblance evolving

Pyrrha was a martyr and stuck to her code I understand. Its just that, with the underlying themes and details, coupled with the songs Casey sang for jaune and pyrrha it really hits hard. I can accept the fact that she was suppposed to go since its what Monty planned. I miss her thats all. Like rwby with her mom. And Monty above all.

Jaune was supposed to stand guard at the end, but no he didn't. Maybe if he did she wouldn't have that statue.
What could he have honestly done? At that point Jaune couldn't have hoped to do anything to stop Cinder. Even in the situation he was on guard she could've just did that arrow trick she used on Pyrrha to kill Amber all the same. That's what Jaune's biggest regret in all of that was: that he wasn't strong enough to make a difference.

Her death was tragic but I do find it a bit odd that Jaune and Ruby are the only ones who actually mourn her, true she was Jaune’s love interest and legitimately only interacted with him while Ruby personally saw her die but still no one else really seems to care. Another thing that’s odd about is that no one (aside from Jaune) had any type of relationship with Pyrrha (I’m pretty sure Ruby only spoke to her once), so Nora’s “just like we loved Pyrrha” rings a bit hollow.

I don’t entirely disagree with the criticism that the male characters in this show can sometimes overshadow the female characters, but at the same time l think it’s worth celebrating just how fantastically so many of said male characters break out of traditional male archetypes. Even characters like Qrow and Ozpin have deconstructed the archetypes they so obviously were based on in the beginning, while Ironwood has been turned into what is essentially a cautionary tale of toxic masculinity.

I personally find ironwoods downfall to be due to pride, lack of allies, internal enemies, he was a man who rose through the ranks of a miltilary and belive in law and order but kept finding flaws. he though he could wage a conventional war against Salem but failed as magic was a unknown force, he didn't know how to wage a war of politics or intrigue, ozpin constant chessmaster shit and the strain of command ruined him.

@@adammyers7383 yeah rens arc in volume 8 had similar points of toxic masculinity with how ren closed his feelings off till he exploded but he finally realised that he needed emotion to tie him to the people he was closing himself off to like Nora when they split off for different plans but that realisation led to his semblance evolving
