I mean I get it, but it does take awhile for a voice actor to perfect their character's voice, so it'll be bound to sound different as time passes. I also actually like her slightly higher voice, makes her sound more innocent and optimistic.
Weiss is my favourite character and I just love her developement! She started of cold, bitchy and confused because of the lies her father told her. She learned the truth about the faunus, what friendship means, that perfection and skill don't mean everything (ofcourse she thought so because that's how she survived and could get out of Atlas) and how she had a choice to live her own life. Through all that she became a caring, responsible, more open minded, strong and overall warmer character. How confused she must have been after her past but now understanding herself and everything so much better. First she the defended the SDC, now she feels bad about it and sorry for the many trouble it has brought everyone. I'm proud of her
I'm annoyed that they don't used coloured glyphs anymore. White is Weiss' colour, but with all the blue she wears now... is she really the "White" character from team RWBY?
Main reason I chose to watch this collaboration of WR interactions was to see the combat skirt scene once again! I love it so much, and no matter how many times I see it it never gets old!
It's simply one of the best moments of the entire series! It also spelled the first moment of complete cohesion between Ruby + Weiss, which at that time were the most divisive within the RWBY team - things only improved! A great big "NO!" to skirt shaming!

This video was cathartic for me. Seeing the relationship develop is so beautiful, and you see the evolution more clearly if you watch it all at once. Also, for those who claim White Rose has no real development; this is about fifteen minutes less development then Bumbleby, which is CANON. This is satisfying and amazing.
Not to even mention that volume 6 was pretty focused on solving the issues between Blake and Yang, and volume 7 will be a lot about Weiss’ family, and we all know that Ruby said she’ll be there for every step of the way. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if WR gets at least as much screentime in v7 as BB. I’m not saying that they should be romantic, but they have a similar amount of development as BB. Not romantic, but platonic. That being said, I would love them being together.

These two have a relationship that has more screen time than all of Volume One. Also, team partners are consistently romantically involved. In some ways, I miss the old tech (or at least Yang's old render) because of how much character Yang's hair had. Her hair doesn't look as awesome as it did in the first 3 volumes

That is unlikely and we would get volume 8 until 2023. Maybe even 2024-2025. Maybe a couple of episodes that shows all the characters that died/or left before volume 4 maybe? Like Pyrrha, penny, Amber, CFVY, Glynda and Ozpin. I always wondered what Pyrrha looked like in new animation. It would delay the next volume by months-a year but i think we can wait. *_If it's possible..._*

I think it is insanely interesting that Weiss changes the petals Ruby leaves behind. Like Blake, Yang, Nora, Penny. None of them change the petals. Whereas Weiss turns them half white, half red. its not split red and someone elses colour. Weiss is in every petal. Now knowing Ruby practically breaks down on the molecular level, that implies Weiss becomes a literal part of Ruby for that moment. Full on souls and molecules bound together.

The animation got so smooth and beautiful and more articulate in volume 4. I’m always surprised when people say it was nothing compared to the other volumes..I think t was plus the animation in early rwby wasn’t very good so no comparison really.
Maybe some of those people mean in terms of fight scenes?
The quality of the animation itself got better, but the spark of the fight scenes was lost entirely.
