Love your channel, I haven’t seen talk about pre selecting your Dr to go to when injured at Work. Instead of going to Company Dr, select and submit to go to your own Dr if injured on the Job.

EDD has a convoluted formula that takes into consideration a longer period of time and does not fall into the 2/3 average weekly wage as Workers' Comp. We would suggest consulting and attorney that can guide you to your next step. If you're in CA you can give us a call. We'd be happy to talk about it. 800 606 6999.

Hello Guys, I am currently on Temporary disability benefits. Farmers Insurance has accepted my claim. I am on a Psychological Injury/claim and have a 2nd QME re evaluation coming up. Can discuss Psychological I injury claims and why I am having a second QME. Can you also let me know what's the next steps in my claim etc.... I feel lost. Also since my claim started the company I work/worked for closed the department I worked in. I am assuming I will not have a job after my claim and will have to use the supplemental job displacement voucher/benefit. Also wants the maximum amount I can get paid for my claim. Currently an insurance manager.

Is he saying state disability is less than workers comp

It depends. The calculations are different. Attorney's use 2/3 of average weekly wage, typically over the year leading up to the date of injury. EDD has a convoluted formula that takes into consideration a longer period of time. Both are subject to statutory maximums.
