Pretty sure "Captain Happy" was the TH-camr AirforceProud95 playing Microsoft Flight Simulator. Voice sounded very similar. Lot of his videos are just non-stop sarcasm and funny as hell.

ATC: Well you should have let me know it was the wrong heading... still your fault
More like "If you knew it was the wrong heading, why didn't you say something? Were you going to crash and die before you pointed out my error?" XD
@@eshbena The pilot could have said something in the effect of '' please confirm heading left 180? " and let the ATC know that they want them to double check. However the ATC controller was not professional and should have admitted his error instead of trying to dump it to the pilots
That was definitely a weird one. I’ve been watching a lot of flight videos and something I’ve noticed is when pilots get into something they want to re-route to a airport they’re familiar with. So what if in this situation the pilot was all that familiar with this airport? It could be a reason he didn’t question. Or just the fact it’s the tower, maybe it’s something taken for granted but the tower is supposed to have their backs so again why would they question (to the controller) about the landing….vector? This in an opinion from a laymen ⬆️ clearly lol.
it is though, the pilots need to say something if they don't think it's right.

I can't imagine the stress these guys go through every single day. Good to hear that they still find opportunities to have some fun..
5:50 Last Clip: I was a Train Dispatcher (Rail Traffic Controller in Canada) which is railroad equivalent of ATC. Ninety-nine percent of train crews I dealt with over the radio were professional and obedient. The 1% who weren't found themselves sitting on an isolated siding in the middle of BFE nowhere (no nearby convenience stores or coffee shops) until their attitude improved. This was when train train crews were paid by the mile, not by the hour. It usually worked, and the ill-mannered few came to respect the supreme, omnipotent, God-like power of the Train Dispatcher. While airplane pilots have discretion to refuse ATC instructions, there are very few, narrowly-defined circumstances in which a train crew can exercise the same discretion. Willful failure to comply with Train Dispatcher instructions is usually a career-ending event. While I dealt with some snarky train crews, never did anyone tell me they didn't like my attitude.

You can tell how stressful this is......the eagerness to crack a joke, the joy of joking back and forth, the well wishes....and that last bit...the very upset pilot venting his frustrations.....it's just stressful being in controlled airspace. (Last controller did an excellent job staying calm).
when it is that stressful to you that you have all the time to argue and be angry about nothing...it's not that bad. What a jerk that pilot.

That pilot at the end claiming arc had an attitude... wrong! He had the attitude and it showed in everything he said! An embarrassment to the profession!

We don't know what the controller and the captain said before this transmission, sounds like the controller may have given instructions that were vague so we can't jump to conclusions.
Nah, if the instructions were vague, you ask for specific routing, you don't take the controllers head off
If captain happy did this to an African ATC he will still be at the airport today waiting for clearance to take off.

Planes don't actually consume fuel, that's more of an engine thing. They usually tend to prefer fresh living humans
