@@lindagellatly8511 Not really, I just use it as a base and toss in whatever floats my boat. LOL. The last one I made had black beans, bananas, cocoa powder, dates, almonds and almond milk and a few drops of almond extract added to the oats..( which I froze in an ice cube tray first.) You can just add some to any of the above or any dairy free recipes for added nutrients and fiber. Just have fun experimenting!

I don’t have the Ninja cream maker, so I cooked my sweet corn, then put it in cold water and froze it. In my Vitamix, I added two frozen bananas, two medjool dates, a tablespoon of white miso, a cup of frozen sweet corn and a little bit of unsweetened soy milk. Blend until you get ice cream. Delicious! Thank you Ami for the idea of sweet corn ice cream!!!
I love ginger/pear icecream for the Ninja Creamer with a pear and a lot of ginger, 1/4 cup of oats, 3 dates and 1 cup plantmilk and apple/cinnamon icecream with an apple, cinnamon, 3 dates, 1/4 cup of oats and 1 cup plantmilk.
Hello! I just tried cooking the plantains in the microwave 😁. I put them in the food processor with some carob powder, PB2 and some oats! It takes soooo good! I rolled them into balls and coated them with Hemp seeds. They taste amazing! Thanks to you and your amazing inventions 😁🙌👊. Also I grew up in Brazil and corn is actually a legit ice cream flavor! I grew up eating it 😋🌽. You can make it without the miso and when you have it ready to eat just sprinkle a tiny bit of cinnamon on top 😉. Also avocado ice cream is really tasty if you'd like to try. In Brazil we eat avocados with sugar sprinkled on top and in smoothies, we don't use it for savory dishes ( I personally love guacamole and avocados in salads but it's not common).
HOT TIP!! Use a hand held potato peeler to level the top of your frozen tubs, no more stabbing with a knife to get flat. 😉 (the squatty peeler type) Thank you for sharing your amazing self and amazing food creations. 👍🏼
Great idea!! Doubled the Sweet Corn and the Tiramisu recipes - a quick 10minutes and now there are 4 ninja tubs in my freezer - Sunday Roast (Vegan! stuffed squash and root veg) will have a surprise dessert treat!
The sweet corn caramel ice cream is delicious!!! Even my picky 17 year old liked it. Can't wait to try the others. I LOVE corn but never would've thought of that. Thanks for the inspiration!
I have it on good authority I am receiving a creami for my birthday this Sunday. Inspired to get one by yourself. If you are up for a challenge, do all of the Ben and Jerry's range, sugar free style.🙏🙌
Your ideas are brilliant and easy enough to want to recreate. I’m roasting some plantain in my oven🤞(don’t have microwave) to make your delicious desserts. I love raspberry and almond flavour, salted pecan. Thanks for your hard work.
You could probably blend sweet potato with root beer OR garbanzo with root beer, OR bean and root beer I just bought ice cream machine today and I am super excited to make ice cream tomorow. Enjoy root beer ice cream. No root beer for me.
Love watching you make these. I need to get a Creami. What model is yours? Some other flavor ideas: carrot cake, orange vanilla, key lime, tahini chocolate chip.
Hi Ami, I never ever would have thought to make ice cream out of sweet corn, brilliant! I’m definitely going to try it. I made lavender ice cream today with some culinary lavender and food colours to make purple, I got it from a lavender farm here in Bundaberg Australia 🇦🇺
@@TheMiriam333 Hi, you will need a Ninja Creami machine for my recipe. Heat up half a cup of milk (microwave or stove) don’t let it boil, add two teaspoons of culinary lavender and let it leave steep (soak) for 5-10 minutes then strain it, and add it to a food processor with two bananas. Process until smooth then pour into Ninja Creami tub then freeze for 24hrs and then it’s ready to process in Ninja Creami using the Lite Ice cream setting.
My 20 yr. old son asked for broccoli ice cream for his 5th birthday. So that's my request for you. I was in the habit of doing green smoothies so I did a variation and made him some. It turned out pretty good. (The following year he wanted Artichoke Cake. I drew the line and served artichokes with his birthday dinner.) I think all three of your ice creams sounded delicious!
I do the sweet potato nice cream all the time. It’s my go to. I like the JSP and Stokes for vanilla flavor. I use the Garnet or Jewel for sweet potato pie or carob flavors. I have sweet potatoes in the fridge as we speak. I’ll be making the sweet potato pie flavor tomorrow. My fave. 😋
I don't have an ice cream maker and not a banana fan, so beans and sweet potatoes have often been my base. Black beans and anything chocolate are wonderful together, and chickpeas or any beans work great with anything milder. I also accidentally discovered oatmeal cooked in milk then cooled makes a great blank canvas for vegan ice creams. My current favorite is almond joy... with added almonds, coconut, and mini chocolate chips!
I cannot wait to try all three, but especially the corn and sweet potato ones. These are by far the coolest Creami ideas I've come across, thank you for sharing!
I just got my Ninja Creami, I am so excited to try some of your healthy plant based recipes. You are so fun to watch. I love sweet potatoes! 5:31 Keep up with the great ideas.
