When you take it out of the freezer, let it sit on the counter for 15 minutes, add a little water to the top and then rub the sorbet option. Comes out perfect in one spin.
He seems new to this. If the bottom melts, it bad. There are ridges at the bottom of the jar that hold the frozen mass to the jar. If this melts or is weak, the frozen mass will spin when the machine blades plough through, retarding the process - and may not get smooth and can even bend the blender shaft.
I didn't need to add anything to the Watermelon (No Water, No sugar Substitute) and I just cut it up in chucks and used a spoon to pat it down. Froze it and than ran it through Creami and turned out perfect. Totally shocked how creami and delicious it came out.
And no waste of tons of water for defrosting. The ice cream is very delicious indeed but with keeping it 60 second under hot water is ridiculous when you can sit it aside for 20 mins or fill a container with hot water and put the tub in it.
I put chunks of fruit in the ninja creami tubs and then use an immersion blender directly in the pot. Doing multiple tubs at the time avoids dirtying blenders / mixers. It works really well.
While erythritol has generally been considered safe for human consumption, recent research has linked long-term erythritol intake to an increased risk of heart attack and stroke. However, more research is needed to assess the safety and long-term health effects of this popular sugar alternative.
Bought this ninja exclusively because you have one now. I made these recipes and was absolutely blown away. So amazing. Even my neighbors and family couldn’t believe how amazing it tasted
Fun fact. For the strawberries. 🍓. Take a straw and push all the way through the small tip without the green leaves and it will perfectly remove the green stem.
Add cinnamon to the watermelon one and do a Re-Spin. You get a light horchata. Also, 100g of Kiwi and 200g of Strawberries, you get a smoother and richer sorbet. Appreciate your videos and the time you put into them. *If anyone tries these out, let me know what you think.
These recipes are amazing, I have been testing a lot of combos out and made an amazing mixed berries one super low cal too. Berry blend (2 parts Blueberries/one part Blackberries/one part Raspberries Blended up) 2/3 Berry Blend 1/3rd water to fill line 20g Sugar free Strawberry Jelly 45g Confectioners Sugar Swerve 2g salt It has a very strong flavor and an amazing blend of tart and sweet.
Take bananas slice them and freeze, throw them in a mixer and you have like milkbased Banana Ice cream. It blew my mind when i tried it. JUST bananas and it tastes for me like it is cream in it.
Canned Peaches. I toss in the juice, but could be subbed with water on a strict caloric diet. Add erythritol and lime juice and blend. It's incredibly delicious and smooth.
Add a little bit of lemon juice for a sour taste, it replaces the citric acid taste. I don't like sweet sorbets but lemon juice turns it out❤ thanks for the video 😊
Great Video!! I tried it with a pinch of 5g of inulin powder and 3g of Neutro Agrimontana (it’s a kind of gum blend use in the gelato industry, I found it online) and it gets even better consistency!!!
If you have one, you are BLESSED because this thing sells out QUICKLY! I have the original and then wanted to get the Breeze. The Breeze sold out in a DAY! everywhere!....Believe me it is worth it if you have a sensitive stomach or are watching the ingredients that go into what you eat these days. I have am getting older and my stomach has been getting bloated, gasy and painful due to some of these unknown ingredients in foods these days. So knowing exactly what is going into my ice cream is a life saver for me. I make my ice cream out of homemade nut milk and I make cold delicious sorbets just out of fruit. Lastly, the one I bought is now $100 more than what I bought it for at Costco..if you can find it.
You’re gonna make me go out and buy a creami now….looks so good😩. Can you feel the strawberry seeds or watermelon pulp once finished or is it absolutely smooth and creamy?
I cant tell the strawberry seeds are there at all. Pulp the same. The creami does an amazing job of blending it all together. You could strain it if you wanted, although I dont see a reason to imo.
Good stuff! Especially during the summer. I have a cheap blender and not that much patience for food prep (for myself, at least; for other people I'm happy to spend even hours), so I prefer to freeze fresh fruit (especially the discounted one that wouldn't last a day more otherwise) and than blend that with a bit of water and some sweetener! I also use frozen fruit as a base for analbolic ice cream, instead of ice cubes, and then I go with water instead of milk to balance it out calorie-wise. Good way to get your daily dose of fruit AND enjoy anabolic ice cream. Double chocolate and strawberries (or bananas) go hand in hand amazingly. Nice to see these types of video, as the community seems frozen (ah!) on the typical anabolic ice cream, but there are so many "cold-related" options! Semifreddi, ice cream cakes, lollies, etc. By the way, next week I'm going to try to make some ice creams on a stick (sylicon moulds can be easily found online, Silkomart is a great producer and it's absolutely safe...be careful when you see a mould that's too cheap), possibly with a yogurt base, some fruit and some protein powder thrown in. I'll try avoiding a chocolate coating because I want to go for volume (and it would require dipping the ice cream in a tub of melted chocolate, not ideal).
This made me finally purchase one of these since the anabolic community got ahold of it. Tried the watermellon one yesterday and it was a banger. Tonight my wife is trying the strawberry. I am so ready for actual ice cream recipes from ya though!
I bought my ninja creami at Costco on sale with an extra pint. I gotta tell you, it's a game changer. I decided to try Pineapple following the same recipe... it was stellar.. it's closer to 150 calories.. but soooo good
People say they use frozen fruit in a blender, but honestly I have never tried it. I will say this machine has already paid for itself with the amount of ice cream and sorbet pints I have eaten. I was very hesitant to buy it too (just did a month ago) but it has been worth every penny.
Just got our ninja creami deluxe after waiting 2 months. Made the strawberry one we created in advance when we ordered extra pints. It is PERFECTION. Watermelon is next.
I didn't need to add anything to the Watermelon (No Water, No sugar Substitute) and I just cut it up in chucks and used a spoon to pat it down. Froze it and than ran it through Creami and turned out perfect. Totally shocked how creami and delicious it came out.
Looks great! Quick question - can you use frozen strawberries for this? Thinking of just letting them defrost a bit then pureeing them as in the video.
One day I woke up and I was tired of being a fat betch so I ordered this thing. Instantely regreted it because of the price BUT then on the long term it was well worth it. You wanna know why? Because I lost a TON of weight and now I am a skinny betch with some loose skin BUT a skinny betch nonethesless. thank you!
Nick, you already know I had to pick up my own ninja creami after I saw what you could do with it. Thanks for taking that first step for us! These look super doable, I will be making the strawberry first for sure!
Yes! These are really special! It’s amazing how creamy something so watery can become. I can’t eat other even lower calories treats without thinking: but a whole pint of sorbet could be only 100 cal with the creami?? It’s a no brainer!
@@tazRenegade did you buy it? All this time later, would you say you're happy with you purchase(I'm trying to decide if I should pull the trigger lmao)
@@ProdChikara absolutely! These sorbets came out super tasty and Nick came out with even more recipes after. I would 100% recommend you shop around and get it!
I was thinking for a more anabolic sorbet to just add unflavored whey to the fruit? But i've never tried unflavored whey. I've been using the Creami since getting it on Prime day, and at this rate it is easily paying for itself in the cost savings for not getting halotops etc. (Got tired of dealing with a big ass shake lol and sometimes you gotta switch it up). Haven't made a bad pint yet. I look forward to your vanilla base. If you can get that vanilla bean halotop flavor, that would be lit.
Totally agree on it being worth every penny. As far as more anabolic, I look at that definition as being low calorie and/or high protein so I think 100 calorie pints fit in the definition perfectly. I will most certainly be making recipes with protein powder, but I want to make some low calorie recipes that don’t require protein because it will certainly almost change the bases when adding a scoop or more to it and alot of the population have asked over and over for recipes with protein. I will cover the entire spectrum though in time.
Have you ever experimented with mixing 2 or more fruits in your sorbet blend or do you think adding tiny chunks of fresh fruit and mixing it would be better? I'm wondering how a strawberry kiwi sorbet would turn out personally.
Finally got a Creami, and imeaditly tried both the Stawberry and watermelon ones, Strawberry one is amazing, and so is watermelon, but I don't like watermelon but I wanted to try it, cause I like watermelon flavored things like candys and drinks.
I've been making protein ice cream every day I never use to make it because it was to much of a hassle . U needed to have ice already prepaid and all the clean up. The cremi makes so much easier
Yes!! The two sorbets I made so far are just fruit, nothing else! I did a mix of fresh mango & strawberries. Blended in Vitamix, then poured into Creami pint to freeze 24hrs before spinning on Ninja Creami machine. The other sorbet was again, only fruit! Put equal amounts of strawerries, mango & banana in Vitamix to blend. Pour into Creami pint container & freeze. Shared these with a couple friends who love ice cream! They were amazed & loved both the sorbets!! They might even buy a Ninja Creami to make their own!! I have a stevia plant growing in my organic garden. I think if I ever wanted to sweeten a Creami, I might toss in 1 leaf when blending in the Vitamix!
Dont cover it in the freezer - the mound it makes will disappear. Cover it after it freezes. Skip the water bath step. Leave it out for a few mins max. YOU DONT WANT the bottom to melt. If this melts or is weak, the frozen mass will spin when the machine blades plough through, retarding the process - and may not get smooth and can even bend the blender shaft.
If you added a little nut milk (I would pick unsweetened coconut milk - 18 calories for 100mls) instead of the water, would it make it more creamier while still being sorbet?
Yes it would! Although technically that would be a sherbet which I will do in the future, but I was going more of an authentic sorbet consistency/flavor
@@Exercise4CheatMeals ohh fantastic! I'll file that away for when the ninja cremi here cost less than a house 😄 Can't wait to see your sherbet video! Thank you for answering my question 😊
You can do lemonade versions of the sorbets by adding a True Lemon lemonade mix packet to the water. A single packet should make enough for three pints.
If you dont want to spend 200$+ on a Maschine you can put the mixed fruit on a baking sheet freeze it smash it up again and throw it in the blender the consistency might not be the exact same but close enough and it taste the same
Plenty of low calorie examples out there I've seen. If you're not afraid of artificial sweeteners and artificial flavors (e.g. you like those Singles to Go drink mixes) you can get into the 30-40 calorie range. 3 tbsp erythritol + 1/2 tsp guar gum + 1/2 tsp xanthan gum + 2 packets of whatever "singles to go" flavor for sweetness and flavor. (This is double the concentration in the directions because freezing mutes flavors). If your freezer is supercold like mine, respin twice after the first spin WITHOUT adding any additional liquid. The erythritol is the primary contributor to texture (keeps the mixture from freezing into a solid block of ice), the guar + xanthan gum takes it to the next level. (They synergize with each other so that a 50/50 combination is superior to either one alone. 75/25 guar/xan may be better per the paper that I based this off of, but measuring 50/50 is easier and i'm lazy). That leaves the drink mix for sweetness and tast. (Erythritol is 3x as effective as sugar as a freezing point depressant but only 70% as sweet per gram, so to get equal texture performance to sugar you wind up with 1/4 the sweetness overall from the erythritol vs. equivalent sugar since you're using 1/3 as much and it's less sweet) Warning though - while erythritol has much higher digestive tolerance than most other sugar alcohols, 3 tablespoons is pushing it on an empty stomach, and two pints worth (6 tbsp) is guaranteed to give most people the runs for a few hours. Still, even if you OD on it, it's a lot less miserable experience than eating half as much sorbitol...
I'm wondering what your preferred sweetener is that isn't a zero calorie one. I find that artificial and other zero calorie sweeteners give me, to avoid being graphic, "digestive distress"
what if one dont have ninja blender, nor some option to buy it - whether is reason of possibilitie to buy or actual avaliability of that brand in these areas...
@@Exercise4CheatMeals oh its super damn good. trust me. fuckin love dark chocolate and watermelon. but you add just enough sweetener, touch of salt, and that cocoa powder with a chocolate protein powder with the guar, yourt, phenomenal
@@ShiaFighter4Life Sure! 700g frozen watermelon (cubed) 113g cottage cheese or Greek yogurt 40g chocolate casein/whey protein or just a 50/50 blend of your own 16g oat FIBER not flour. but if you don't have this add more casein or double pudding mix 10g dark cocoa powder 7g SF Chocolate pudding mix 20g stevia or 30g sweetener of choice 4g guar preferably over xanthan 2g decaf coffee 2g salt 5g vanilla extract 35g liquid the salt and coffee grounds really will enhance the Chocolate

Do you just store your watermelon juice in the fridge utnil ready to use? Did you buy a bunch of extra pint containers for the Creami? Thanks!
If you dont want to spend 200$+ on a Maschine you can put the mixed fruit on a baking sheet freeze it smash it up again and throw it in the blender the consistency might not be the exact same but close enough and it taste the same
I would disagree but i would try it to believe it.
What do you for with leftovers? Do you respin?
Yes. On the same setting you spun the original on. You should flatten the top of your pint before putting it back in the freezer.
Quick question, why does he rinse the frozen pint with hot water first before putting it into the Creami? What does this step do? Thanks
it helps reduce the amount of ice on the outer edge of the pint and get a more even mix
do any of these work with normal blenders?
other than for if mixing multiple ingredients, whats the point in preblending, when the creami is blending it anyway
Is it safe to use other fruite than pineapple ? in manual ninja says only use pineapple bec other fruite can demage the machine?
Just bought a Ninja Creami today. Can’t wait to try these.
Been waiting for someone (of course it’s you!) to champion low calorie and protein creami recipes! Let’s goo!
This is just the beginning 😈
(Erythritol is 3x as effective as sugar as a freezing point depressant but only 70% as sweet per gram, so to get equal texture performance to sugar you wind up with 1/4 the sweetness overall from the erythritol vs. equivalent sugar since you're using 1/3 as much and it's less sweet)
Warning though - while erythritol has much higher digestive tolerance than most other sugar alcohols, 3 tablespoons is pushing it on an empty stomach, and two pints worth (6 tbsp) is guaranteed to give most people the runs for a few hours. Still, even if you OD on it, it's a lot less miserable experience than eating half as much sorbitol...
Add a scoop of unflavored protein powder or collagen powder.
Would probably effect the recipe, but you could always try it oht
If you don't already have a "how I got started in the fitness industry" video, I'd love to learn about your journey! Great before and after pics 💪💪❤❤
Definitely want to make one in the near future, Thanks Spencer!
I need to buy this magical device.
Magical is a great way to describe it 😂
I love you for this! ❤😋
Have you tried working windows frozen strawberries? They’re so much cheaper and seem like they would lend themselves to this process if blended first.
I have not, but strawberries have been a dollar a pound by me so been super cheap. Blending the frozen strawberries first probably would work
Ayyyy I remember asking you about ninja creami recipes a couple months back!!! I'm so excited to see what you'll come up with.
We in it to win it now
I'm wondering what your preferred sweetener is that isn't a zero calorie one. I find that artificial and other zero calorie sweeteners give me, to avoid being graphic, "digestive distress"
Man, I love cantaloupe!
Me too. Underrated
Seeded watermelon tastes fuller and better in a way no seedless one can
How long do they last in the freezer?
ok these r fire. i just cant eat sugars of any kind anymore so most of these shakes would not be something i can consume or repplicate
what if one dont have ninja blender, nor some option to buy it - whether is reason of possibilitie to buy or actual avaliability of that brand in these areas...
Thank you Nick! I love your channel and have been waiting for recipes
Thanks Matt!
Thanks so much!

Do you have the ninja creai deluxe? Cause I follow your steps and it dosent fill up the cup?
Did you remove the seeds of watermelon?
Since I make my own delicious yogurt some of it has to be added!!
