As an experienced rider I feel obligated to share this advice. Yes you might be going slow and your skills can't put you in danger, but NEVER assume car drivers will see you. They might not stop, they might not give way or they might downright cut in your lane while trying to turn left. Always cover the brakes and be very attentive. Anything that moves on the road can turn into a threat so be careful.
As a German who's getting his driver's license at the moment, I am astonished at how cheap and easy it is, to get a driver's license in the U.S. We have to do 14 theoretical lessons (~500€ in Bavaria, 90 minutes each lesson) and at least 12 practical lessons (~77€ for one, 45 minutes per lesson), but most people do 18+ lessons. Then we are allowed to do the actual test. I will probably end up payin around 2500€ - 3200€ for it
I believe 3x more Americans are killed per mile driven than we are in the UK, and Germany is even safer. Because the US is so large, and their public transport is almost non-existent, they are in a position where they cannot feasibly take the concept of piloting two tonnes of metal and plastic at 70 mph as seriously as they should, or else their country would grind to a halt.

Coming from the UK it sounds so crazy how easy that test is. I've done both motorcycle and car tests and you have to drive on the roads for about 30 mins, doing things like a 3 point turn, reverse around a corner etc. Even a bike license you have different levels to pass depending on what cc the bike is, and you can't ride a big bike for a couple of years. They restrict you to smaller bikes

Some would say that there's no way of knowing, within the context of a court of law, what about these stories is and isn't false.
Michael and Ludwig at a DMV on a random maybe Tuesday is hilarious
I couldn't stop laughing at Michael watching the Batman Joker theory and the base boosted shorts lmao
driver's exams in portugal are a menace in comparison, you need to have a shit ton of theory and practice lessons and you actually have to drive on the road and the motorways during the exam
Ludwig, you don't need to die to donate a liver. They take a piece and yours grows back. They want your heart and lungs ❤️
Wtf 💀
When I got my motorcycle license, there was a 60 year old guy from a small town who was also getting his license. "Been riding for 40 years, cop friend told me to get legal or lose the bike. Now I'm here."
Riding 900 miles without a license is child's play lol
me when i commit tax fraud and they haven't found out yet
It's crazy to me as a Brit how easy car and motorbike licenses are in the us compared to the UK. A car practical test is like 40 mins long on actual roads
I can't wait to hear what ludwig's gonna do with his Vespa
bro i feel the exact same way about my Kaabo Wolf King GT Pro its like the ultimate transportation its perfect on grass and the sidewalk but if you want you can pass cars on the street going 60, im a adrenaline junky and trust me bro theres nothing like going 60 on electric a stand up scooter. i would 100% recommend getting one
Literally NEVER have heard of his Vespa before
The yard
@@kish2354 ah, whoops. Caught in 4k I guess
@@SnufflySpy it's pretty good!
It’s so car drivers recognize hand signals when a motorcyclist uses it in proximity to them.
you know the video is gonna be good when the title is "I scammed the government"
17:38 the second he said "OVERWATCH 2" i was like MICHAEL NOOOOOO
Hopefully we hear this story on the next patreon yard episode too, only place we haven't heard it yet
hearing those questions, those tests sound harder than the ones here in Uruguay, and still people complain here that they are too hard...
1:16 LMAOOO LUDWIG SOUNDS EXACTLY LIKE GRU FROM DESPICABLE ME
Ludwig is the only one that can make 2 videos about scamming the government
Ludwig: “None of the American cities are walkable”
New York: “Do I even EXIST to you??”
That’s what I was thinking
New York is a shithole.
James Bond: License to kill
Ludwig Ahgren: License to die (3:55)
A classic Ludwig move indeed
Mogul Mail is gonna have a field day with this
Great title, really gives more understanding to scamwig’s personality
That is the most ballsy title I've ever seen
ludwig’s italian accent sounds like gru 💀
i imagine gru’s face being put on al capone’s pictures because it also reminds me of some mafia boss
Ludwig is a great storyteller, not every one can captivate telling a mundane story, it's brilliant !!
you're so good at telling stories it's ridiculous :)
Pov. You found this video again after the Vespa was sold by conner.
