I started back up earlier this year. I'm 40 next year ... and can say after having genuinely neglected my self PT post-FVFG 20 years removed... this is absolutely non-negotiable. Encouraged seeing others in my age range acknowledge the importance of mobility.
Just piling on with the others here at 40+. I’ve been pretty active my whole life but I’ve been neglecting my mobility up until recently. It is THE difference between feeling young and strong vs creaky and sick. Wish I had started this type of training when I was younger
Did this routine for 6 months every day after waking up. At the begining I couldn't do cossack squats and deep lounges without support. Now I can. I am 50 y.o. It somehow really helped to stay consistent how LBP presents the exercise.
Consistency accomplishes everything. You can learn a language, a subject, how to paint, how to sing, and most easily learn to be in shape and all of them only take a little consistency and discipline. The catch is only a quarter of the population has those two traits.
I think this is the best format of follow along workout video that I've ever seen! I really don't like the upbeat music from other videos, loud bells and people unnaturally trying to motivate me. And there's even some chill low music at the end. 10/10!
Did this after finally recovering from non-epileptic seizure condition!! 9 months of mostly being immobile in bed and great muscle weakness. My legs were literally buckling after trying it, but to me it is now the the best feeling ever because I’m able to move freely again. Thank you for including variation and being so thoughtful of people’s differences in capabilities!❤❤❤

Rotator cuff injuries suck! I damaged mine years ago and still have issues so I work around it. I do various curls and triceo extensions, rows and lat pull down but steer clear of any type of overhead press or chest fly
These are fantastic as a baseline for building a stretch routine, something we should all learn from a young age. However, it's never too late to start. I feel so much limber after the exercises, particularly on my shoulders!
This is how all fitness influencers should handle the gym. No one in the background, not taking up too much space, not trying to start drama for clout. Just legit trying to help. You're a legend Patty.

I haven't properly had a work out in years, I've tried so much but nothing felt right. I wanted to work out every part of my body, not only that get my mobility back. I literally have the body of someone 10 years my age and I shouldn't. This stretching exercise felt so good despite it being pretty difficult. I love it! Thank you so much for encouraging me to start taking care if myself again!
Ive been doing this routine before my workouts for the last few weeks and really notice the difference. I feel so ready for squats after these moves. Thanks!
I appreciate these mobility movements. A main reason I don’t warm up or stretch before work outs is because there are plenty of how to do exercises, and routines, but nothing on warming up or stretching

I love these stretches and how accessible you've made them to people! One pointer if you're open to it, but instead of child's pose, your posture is more of a puppy pose! How fun! Puppy pose generally keeps the hips stacked over the knees like you've done here, whereas child's pose, traditionally for rest, has the hips sinking back onto the heels so the hips can open and relax. PS thank you for all you do! Murray Christmas!
contributes some surely... i think more than the physical it really benefited me with having a disciplined mindset.. merry christmas!
I've been dealing with knee pains from old injuries and never have i ever been instructed to do these kinds of exercises. I believe this series of exercises will be very helpful for me. Thanks for sharing and explaining a bit more in depth of how its done and where you should feel it
Idk if it's your vibe or what, but this is now my favorite stretch routine. They also work amazing 👏
Came from Instagram, thanks Patty for this routine, I need it for my return to Muay Thai training 🥴
Muchas gracias bella dama🤘🏽
🙏🙏💪
I have seen so many videos and tik toks showcasing the 90/90 stretch and no one that I have seen has ever addressed scooting. Thank you! I've been wondering what the heck I'm doing wrong because I scoot when I do them. Also I love your editing :)
😂 Yeah I was like, Am I supposed to be blazing a trail all over the floor when I do the 90/90? 🧐 I thought it was bc I have one hurt hip and wearing a satin nightgown
@@oopie2006 I am pretty convinced your hips have something to do with it - I've got hip dysplasia and was pretty much scooching all over the laptop after 3 reps xD
this was literally amazing!!! it's been a long time since Ive been active and even this was a workout! i cant wait to keep practicing these and see how much better my mobility gets, thanks for this video!!
It's not just a useful and really effective workout... It's a stand-up workout with a delightful and charismatic girl! Thanks for the exercises and humor. Charges both energy and mood for the whole day ❤️
Flexibility and warming up is SOOO underrated. Even in the fitness-community! Thanks for helping to make the "boring and tedious" part of working-out feel less like a chore 💪
right!!!! Whenever doing a FULL warmup and stretch, I actually feel stronger when at the gym. Like way more comfortable
I gotta say its 1am and you inspired me to crawl out of bed and to do 90/90s after 2 brutal leg days. Now to get my 8 hours of sleep😂😊
I did Taekwondo before and this is the typical warm up! I used to hate Taekwondo but now I'm grateful I did all this mobility movements
I do mma should i do this everyday and should i do a flexibility routine aswell or does this cover that?
I felt encouraged by your lighthearted tone, thanks for embracing the silly, but tbh I couldn't last the full video. I listened to my body and switched to doing more comfortable stretches when you said it was alright to do so (in fact I was already doing cat/cow when you got to it). For the second half I was simply sitting upright in the same posture as you, rolling my neck, shoulders, and ankles. I was very entertained, and I'll come back for more of your content when I feel ready!
I love your videos you inspire so many people including me
🙏🙏🙏
busy groaning as if I'm 80 years old and I'm just 18 bruv 😭😭 this told me I need to go back to exercising
Nice video Patty I was laughing so hard through the sound effects! It really helps that you added the progression as well! Thank you
Its so awesome when people talk trough the routine and actually explain the movements, ty ❤😊

merry christmas!
Be motivated by what you can do, not defeated by what you can’t.
OMG you're editing style is too funny. Also really great video thx. Never been this flexible in my whole life.
Great mobility workout. And it's a real joy to watch your videos because of your high quality content combined with your positive and funny personality. So authentic and natural! Love it. Greetings from a 54 y o woman in Germany. 😊
6:00 got some Goku vibes going on
100% going to try this before my next workout - I hate warming up more than a 5-10 minute walk and I never stretch after and my hips are starting to DIE. 😰😰
Merry Christmas 🎄
merry christmas!
I found this video today and I just wanted to say thank you, because I have terrible mobility, but you're so kind explaining the variations and how progressing is important, that it motivated me to just keep trying, even when it's frustrating. So thanks! ❤
Ugh finally someone who teaches well, gives different variations, and isn’t annoying 😅
