    Just got my 2024. Coming from XDiavel. I wanted a less bulky, naked bike and this was the logical choice. I like the grunt and power in the mid range which the V2 lacked, not that the V2 isn’t a great bike also, but it needs more revs. I got the lower seat, less 20mm. Still comfy. Also got windscreen. Big difference. Love the V4! (Take those ugly stickers off.)

    Hi. Awesome video. I bought 22 Black SF V4S (brand new). Have 7k KM on it and now thinking of finally getting Termignoni exhaust and few other bits like better tail.
    I will share my own experience if you don't mind.
    1) Fuel light comes on around 135 KM. Mind due tank is 16L and after 10L light comes on. In theory should get around 190km but I am from Estonia so might be temperature related etc
    2) Does not like RPMs. I mean the engine actually handles low RPMs well but with low RPMs there is chain slapping noise + the gearing is such that it is not traffic light to light bike
    3) wind is absolutely insane on that thing
    4) quick shift sometimes goes to false-neutral. But that's a Ducati thing :D (from what I have heard)
    But on the positive side....
    1) power is godlike.. probably more than 99% of us ever need.
    2) handling is insanely good. I had privilege to ride Kawasaki ZH2 and there is no comparison. Yes ZH2 is more comfy on highway and supercharger noise is cool but in terms of cornering there is no comparison. ZH2 wants to wash off under you when you turn while Ducati turns INTO the corner. This thing wants to lean and this makes cornering much more enjoyable.
    3) Electric suspension is awesome. Makes bike probably like 20% more comfi (questimation)
    4) it has killer aesthetics. Every single person who you ride past will take a glance. Its not perhaps important for most but makes me feel good
    And whilst 90% of the reviews bring out the cost of the bike then my 2 cents is this: its worth it. The build quality, power, handling, aesthetics .
    And perhaps the most important thing. Every time I finish ride and I walk away from my bike... I look back and smile because I had good time.
    Thanks for reading!

      Hey, that’s a great take ,Thanks ! I’ve just hit 9800 km and am currently waiting on new tires ( corso 4’s). I’ve gotten really comfortable on this thing and absolutely love it. I’m just paranoid about the water pump issue that seems to be on all the forums. I did by a 5 year extended warranty for piece of mind .
      Cheers 👍

    GREAT VIDEO! You are the first person I have come across who has compared the Diavel and the Streetfighter. My last bike was a Victory Vegas 8 Ball that I put pipes and a Power Commander 5 and tune on and so I was thinking Diavel. But the Streetfighter just keeps talking to me. Anymore comparisons you can give for a guy who has never ridden anything but a power cruiser?

    • @twowheeledwarrior
      @twowheeledwarrior  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That’s a nice bike 👍. personally, I think the Diavel is one of the most underrated bikes ever. It has low end torque feel which I’d compare to a Harley. A long enough chassis to rip off the line giving you great 0 to 60 times ( 2.5 /2.6 seconds) . Faster than the Streetfighter in that case ( 3/ 3.1 seconds). It’s comfortable and handles surprisingly well in turns . So many positives.but…. The Streetfighter’s acceleration turns violent once your revs are up . It’ll pull from 175 kmh like it’s in first gear. It’s ridiculous! Which is why I had to get one . Well, cause it’s mental ! Lol . It’s also very comfortable, eats gas like it’s candy, and extremely windy at speeds . With the Diavel, you can tuck more into its body , much less wind static for sure . Whichever bike you chose , I guarantee it’ll make you ask yourself “ why did I wait so long”. That’s my short long answer
      Cheers

      @twowheeledwarrior thank you for the detailed response. Each has so many benefits. I was totally sold on the Diavel, and then, like you said, that raw, totally mental potential power of the streetfighter started talking to me. I have no business ripping the front tire up off the ground, but with all the rider controls that tame it, it's like it's just begging me to give it a try.

      I’ve had the Streetfighter a couple of months now , I shit you not . The 16 year old kid in me comes alive, and you can’t get that smile off my face . It’s really a comfortable cruiser I must add. but , it’s mental , scary, and exhilarating . And your right, the teck really keeps the bike in check.it’s a testament to top tier engineering. Hopefully you can find a place to test ride one .
      Cheers

      @twowheeledwarrior  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It gets pretty hot when your sitting in traffic , or stuck in first gear going from street light to street light. You won’t wanna stay in one spot too long for sure

    Congrats it's an amazing bike. Tuck your key fob into the space between the tank. Otherwise it will flop around in the wind and damage the paint.

    I have a 2024 Diavel V4. Super heavy and not flickable. I have to slow way down on intersection turns. Did you notice the same thing? Any regrets getting the SF? I’m 5’7” so that will be an issue but not a dealbreaker. They have motorcycle boots for short guys.

    • @twowheeledwarrior
      @twowheeledwarrior  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No regrets getting the Streetfighter, I regret not keeping my Diavel .they are different enough to warrant owning both. The SF is more Flickable then the Diavel, but… I honestly found the Diavel to be great in corners. Not equal to a superbike/hyperbike .but it wasn’t the v4(beautiful bike 👍) maybe it handled differently…The Streetfighter definitely reacts quicker to counter steering, and dropping it into corners. It is a tall bike , and you can notice that coming from the Diavel. But , ya, no regrets buying the bike. I’d do it again for sure 👍

      @@twowheeledwarrior i’m still stuck considering the difference between the V4 and the new Street triple 1200 RR. They seem so close to one another

      I came from XDiavel, which I didn’t consider all that heavy but it is bulky. Diavel handle very well. I just got my V4 SF and I love it. A step up in sporty riding for sure.

      This is not at all a beginner bike. Id get a Honda 1100 DCT and ride at least a year to understand all the strategies of how to ride as safely as possible in traffic. Then get a Streetfighter V2 and see how that goes before riding the most powerful naked bike. Just a thought.
