    Thanks for a nice first impression video! I purchased the S model about 6 months ago and while it's the most expensive bike I've ever owned, it is by far the best. Only thing you may find lacking is usable range as the fuel light comes on somewhere around 85 miles. 😂 Also you commented on heated grips: the button is there yes but they must be fitted as an option. Also the aftermarket akra exhaust is ridiculously expensive but the sound it makes afterwards is pretty awesome! All things considered, it is simply an amazing ride! Looking forward to your comparison with the Super Duke R.

      @Bazza47 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I guess you've never dropped your keys at a petrol station then spent the next 10 minutes panicking trying to find them like I have then! A lot of riders have no other keys with it which makes it easier to loose plus of course if commuting bike thieves are known to come up next to you at the lights, steal your keys and then ride off hoping you'll leave your bike at the roadside so they can then steal it with the aid of another gang member spotting for them. I've had it on my last 2 GS' and like it, though I would agree it's not much use unless the fuel cap is keyless too. It's more convenience than anything, if you've never had it you're probably not bothered but once you do have it keyless becomes a nice to have.

    On my GS I find keyless quite convenient. Mainly because I have to carry so many keys for the bike; namely 1 BMW (to release BMW sat nav when parked), 2 Givi key for top box (too mean to buy BMW item), 3 Litelok, 4.Disc lock. So without keyless I’d have this lot banging about in front of me.

      Its because the shape of the fuel tank (an "S" ) cant fit a floater for the fuel gauge. Same reason why the aprilia v4 doesnt have one. you just cant

    Really interested in what its like in the rain, in the cold, in windy conditions. Considering using this all year round. No doubt on a lovely summer day its an awesome bit of kit. But there are no reviews yet that show what its like to live with in the winter. Under horrid rain and wind. Trust TMF to bring us the first down to earth review. Rather than another video of someone twisting the throttle, laughing like a madman and saying its great! Any bike is great in a straight line on a summers day.

    Keyless ignition would keep the key and key chain from leaving scratches all over that area of the bike/tank. That's about the biggest benefit I can see with that tech/feature/capability. Might be a little more secure as far as theft deterrence, too.

    I’ve been looking forward to your review on this Andy , this mainly being because I can’t keep going out on salted roads and keep washing mine which I got in December (not a great time to buy a bike) I totally agree with you on the looks I didn’t like it at first, it bugs the life out of me that it hasn’t got cruise control, I can live with the fact it hasn’t got a fuel gauge, but, whilst running in I’ve seen 85 miles to reserve 😳 . I love it though, it’s a great bike .
