    I have done temp market for construction and drivers and I used to charge clients around 25% and agency owner was happy with that, depends pan the location and demand of staff availability in the area too.

      Yeah you are totally correct. It all depends on the circumstances, location, time of year ect.

    Kadz, thanks for sharing your videos. I have a question, how would a new temp agency pay the employees' salaries for the first week or month? Clients may not pay the temp agency right away or do they? How temp agencies afford the first month or week's payroll cost. Thank you very much.

    Unfortunately I'm from the States, so this isn't as relevant for me. Is there another service or tool that would translate to USD and standards?

    Thanks for these videos, theyre great. Would you as the recruitment agent be managing the actual paying of the wages to the workers. So the client pays you and you give the worker their wages. Are you doing all the transactions?

    Kads what if it is say a bricklayer on self employed on cis scheme and i use an umbrella to sort and issue wages for example...? Its only 20% plus umbrella charge?

    • @kadzmoney
      @kadzmoney  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Minimum 20% to break even.

  • @TruckerReena

    I'm still confused on this, sorry.
    So if say a driver would be getting £11ph and 50hrs per week as paye, what would be a sensible fee to charge the client without charging too much and still make a decent profit? Calculator is saying I could be making a % more.

    • @kadzmoney
      @kadzmoney  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Usually as long as it is above 20% of the hourly charge (on top) you should break even. How much you charge is up to you.

    Hi Kadz. Do I need to be VAT registered as a Recruitment business?
    I read that: The Court of Appeal confirmed that the supply of temporary staff is liable to the standard rate of VAT on the full amount received from the client, and not just any commission element retained by the employment agency.
    Does it mean that we have to charge client our % + VAT?

    • @kadzmoney
      @kadzmoney  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You need to have a turnover of 85k i believe to vat register. You can't charge vat if you are not vat registered that would be illegal

      @@kadzmoney for example, I have 100 temporary warehouse operatives. all of them earn £8 per hour and work 8 hours per day. I charge client £10 per hour. So £8000 per day or £210000 per month. In this case, should I register for VAT and should I charge the client our % + VAT?
      THANK YOU.

    What sort of % would you charge for a Hgv driver

    • @kadzmoney
      @kadzmoney  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is no straight forward answer. But you need a more expensive insurance so you will be looking at 30% on top of the hourly wage at least

    Kadz can you make a video on how the bridge loans or loans from the banks work to pay the recruited staff?

  • @theaikingdom

    This calculator isnt accurate. Temps do not get holiday pay, for starters. And even in the case they do, its not 40 pounds a week EVER 😂

      No HP for temps? Not sure what planet you are on but legally temps have all the employment rights as a permanent employee, therefore HP must be paid. They won't get HP only if and when are HGV drivers working through their own LTD company.
