All sweeteners have sugar. The only difference is that some of them break down faster in the body which floods your system. White sugar in the grocery store actually comes from sugar beets, not sugar cane like people think. It's highly processed which is where the negative health effects come from. Other plant sweeteners are a little more complex and need to be digested to access the sugars, which makes them a little less bad for you. sweeteners like agave nectar, coconut sugar, Sugar In The Raw, etc. are also not healthy and are considered processed foods just like white sugar. But at least they're a little (I do mean just a little) less bad for you - mostly because they're expensive so you eat less and because they're not completely broken down. The only way to escape it is to just stop adding sweeteners of any kind and accept that some foods aren't meant to be very sweet. Otherwise, add a little sugar (either the usual white beet kind or a "sweetener" type sugar) and just be ok with it.
