Can a leveling or lift kit be installed on a hybrid Maverick..?? I just bought a 2022 hybrid Maverick and I was wanting to put a leveling or 1 to 2 inch lift kit and tires to change the look. I don't want to go to aggressive and I don't want to effect them gas mileage too much if possible.
I have questions. How many inches lift can use for Ford Maverick? 16" or 17" wheels for Ford Maverick? Can use 265/75 / 16 tires fit ? Or 32 tires? Thank Andy
Actually many people are taking these off road, It truly is a Ford truck. If you google Maverick off road there's quite a few videos of others taking theirs off road.

It's smaller then the ranger, but has a bigger interior. It's is dramatically slower in exterior size. But dramatically better interior place then the ranger.

KO2s gum-up in mud and become slicks. Mild mudders aren't really much louder than KO2s. Try something like a Trxus MT. I liked them better on pavement than BFG ATs.
I live in the s.f.bay area ( livermore ) my local dealer doesn't even have one to see up close in person 🤔 I don't want a hybrid give me gas engine & I like that blue color even though it's extra $ , but I have to see ,drive one b4 I'd buy tired of seeing them only on TH-cam.
I’m out in Pleasanton and Livermore Ford isn’t the best IMO. There’s a 2.0l AWD avail to test drive at Walnut Creek Ford. They don’t mark up past MSRP for new models either. Food for thought
So you change the center of gravity, more unsprung weight, say goodbye to 30 MPG, slow down the acceration with the heavy wheels and tires and 6K down the drain.

Is the 4k Tow package worth it for someone who barely tows. I mean can I tow without the 4K tow package? Whats the difference. It seems kinda gimmicky when you have a truck you expect it to tow regardless

Common misconception about warranties is that ANY change you do after market will void them. For a warranty to be voided, the issue must be caused by the after market change and there needs to be proof that the aftermarket change was the cause. You have to be aware of this because companies will try that. That ebing said, you only want trusted people to do your work so something you do have done doesnt cause a failure you could be at fault for.
6 k for spacers wheels and tires ? That’s about 4K in labor . Y’all are a ripoff . I paid 2900 for lift wheels and tires mount balance and alignment and kit installed . And it’s not a spacer lift with 33inch tires .

It appears as of 11/01/2021, Ford has changed the financing options availible for the Ford Maverick. Previously there was a 0% for the 24 and 36 month finance options which no longer appear to be available. Additionaly I belive there was an 84 month finance option which is not longer an option. Lastly, it does not appear you can lease the XLT which previously was an option. Do we know if Ford is going to honor the previous finance options based on the manufacturing delays?
6k installed is steep though. A dealer should cover that if another shop installs it because it doesn’t alter any stock parts. The dealer around me doesn’t hassle you on it. I’m sure some do but they are supposed to cover it like your standard warranty. I know there is some fine lines that you may be walking on. I do understand knowing it’s done right by the dealer and no dealer is cheap on stuff like this.

That was mainly due to the wheel/tire choice. I'm thinking a 1in wheel spacer with KO2s on the stock black wheels would look great. Along with a slim fender flares to go with the 2in lift Total cost about 2000 (estimate of course)
Using that set of tires made it very noisy. I think there are better option on offroad tires. But the liftkit will work well for the Maverick in my opinion.

To me this really defeats the purpose of buying this vehicle, it’s a budget entry level truck. A awesome little truck for 25k. I test drove one and wasn’t terribly impressed with the build quality, it feels like your trying to save money. Definitely nothing wrong with saving money, but If you’re going to add another $6k dealer mods on top of msrp/market adjustments theres much better trucks to put your money into. The only thing that is appealing is that they will cover the lift work under warranty But so will other makes on their trd pro and pro4x versions which are much better vehicles. How about a ford focus with a 6k sound system? crazy right.
I do like the height but doesn't look right as a centered tire in the rear wheel well the distance from the body looks a little to far forward in the front of the rear tires if that wording makes sense if the rear tire looked a little better centered that would look perfect just a personal preference on my lifted trucks in the past
I’ve not paid much attention to that before but yeah that is weird, I’m not sure why it would be set forward. There has to be some way to center it. Maybe traction bars and some sort of alignment it is able to be moved back

Thank you! The sound of the test drive was the thing that interested me most. I just received my '24 Bronco Sport Badlands with Falken Wildpeaks, and on my first drive, the sound and vibration concerned me. I've never had AT tires on a vehicle before, and the sound made me wonder if my PTU or trans were bad. This video reassured me that this whirring sound is normal with AT type tires.
Since this is being done at a Ford dealership, I wonder if there was any research into safe operating angles of the Ford CV joints. Was that taken into account before raising the suspension and affecting the angles? Does Ford have a safe angle number? If you want to know the angles for air-cooled VWs, let me know. It has been researched and documented so you won’t have a catastrophic failure while driving a lifted VW.

Your warranty does not extend past the factory new vehicle warranty of 3 years/36000 bumper to bumper and 5 years/60000 powertrain, unless I am incorrect, then please clarify. Why would a customer choose this package for $6000 versus sourcing a similar package and installing it through a different shop? Most likely for significantly less money. Also you didn't provide an itemized breakdown of your package. I would thoroughly enjoy reading it. I don't see how this is a reasonable purchase for a consumer to build confidence in the brand. $6,000? The lift kits for these are $199.95 for 2”, 31s run bout $600-1100, 18s run bout $800-$1150 a set, how do you guys get $6,000 for building this? And aftermarket kits only available for 2” ford won’t warranty aftermarket parts once it’s installed unless it’s a ford performance part. The truck looks amazing just confused were $6000 comes into play for add on price. My truck with a 6” kit 36s on 17s tan $6000 that’s why I’m like ???? Not complaining just curious as a consumer.

Ford are just starting to build them.. and they have had over-subscription on hybrid orders. they were expecting 60% ICE to 40% Hybrid and it's been the other way around. So, they are not ready for the demand for hybrids. typical old US OEM. "What, people what a great car that is a hybrid/EV ?" So if you order one now. you might not get a hybrid until May at the earliest.
@@DuncanCunningham Mine has had the build date pushed out twice. I'm guessing a battery supply issue. I cant believe they would post incredible MPG numbers for the truck and not expect a giant demand for the hybrid.

to me the gains won’t outweigh the negatives in lifting a small truck. lifting and adding larger tires highlights the odd fact that the rear wheels do not sit centered in wheel arch on the Maverick. They sit farther towards front of vehicle. I’m keeping mine stock.

I believe 1.5" to 2" is what most of the lifts are for the Maverick. 31" tires would be fine but 32" would probably rub.

It’s going to be awhile until there plentiful enough to see one just sitting in a lot you can test.
Hopefully chevy makes a compact truck like this but instead of a unibody a body on frame. With at least a solid axle rear.

That is untrue, not only have we done a Lift on the Maverick we have also lifted Bronco Sports that are also unibody.

Some of the cost goes to the tech for install and we cover it with a warranty. And there is markup.
@@longmcarthurford thanks for responding. costs for labor are understandable, if reasonable. Your warranty does not extend past the factory new vehicle warranty of 3 years/36000 bumper to bumper and 5 years/60000 powertrain, unless I am incorrect, then please clarify.
Why would a customer choose this package for $6000 versus sourcing a similar package and installing it through a different shop? Most likely for significantly less money.
Also you didn't provide an itemized breakdown of your package. I would thoroughly enjoy reading it.
I don't see how this is a reasonable purchase for a consumer to build confidence in the brand. But please feel free to educate me.

Is anyone doing a muffler upgrade for the 2.0 eco. Just go mine yesterday but may need a little better sound.
$6,000? The lift kits for these are $199.95 for 2”, 31s run bout $600-1100, 18s run bout $800-$1150 a set, how do you guys get $6,000 for building this? And aftermarket kits only available for 2” ford won’t warranty aftermarket parts once it’s installed unless it’s a ford performance part. The truck looks amazing just confused were $6000 comes into play for add on price. My truck with a 6” kit 36s on 17s tan $6000 that’s why I’m like ???? Not complaining just curious as a consumer.

Could you pls tell me what dod you say about hybrids? What does it mean they are done for now?
Ford are just starting to build them.. and they have had over-subscription on hybrid orders. they were expecting 60% ICE to 40% Hybrid and it's been the other way around. So, they are not ready for the demand for hybrids. typical old US OEM. "What, people what a great car that is a hybrid/EV ?" So if you order one now. you might not get a hybrid until May at the earliest.
@@DuncanCunningham Mine has had the build date pushed out twice. I'm guessing a battery supply issue. I cant believe they would post incredible MPG numbers for the truck and not expect a giant demand for the hybrid.

Was the truck computer recalibrated so the speedo and MPG are still correct?
to me the gains won’t outweigh the negatives in lifting a small truck. lifting and adding larger tires highlights the odd fact that the rear wheels do not sit centered in wheel arch on the Maverick. They sit farther towards front of vehicle.

It is very strange that the rear tire is not centered in the wheel well I agree.
The lift kit has very little to do with it as that seems to be the case in it's stock form as well.
