    Nice AR. Do you have videos of testing the capabilities of the 2wd maverick?

    • @reviveoutdoors4him
      @reviveoutdoors4him  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No sir, not the 2wd. I put the Hybrid 2WD through a good bit offroad but knew it wouldn’t be reliable in slippery terrain being only FWD.

    ford maverick fx4 lift kit is there a mechanical problem with the truck after some time of use? I bought a maverick fx4, I'm from Brazil and I would like to know your current report today on the mechanics, if there was any problem.

    Glad to see you're using your mav for hunting as well. Once hunting season is over i'll give her a nice cleaning.
    I would have like to have watched the video with out the fish eye/wide angle lens personally.

      Yep! Currently sitting in Ohio in it about to go to sleep in the new sleeping setup I have. I will post a video once I get home from rutcation. Please subscribe so we can stay in touch through the videos.
      I won’t use it again. Everyone that comments mentions it 🤣

    Just got the windows tinted on my mav. Definitely looking to upgrade the tires next. Even with AWD during turkey season I about got stuck due to the soft spring ground and stock tires.

    • @reviveoutdoors4him
      @reviveoutdoors4him  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nice!
      This lift, tire, wheel combo has been great! I traveled to 4 states for turkeys this season and put the truck through some muddy and rough terrain and it handled it great! I was really impressed to be honest. Just have to turn off traction control when offroad or it won’t let the AWD do its job

    I have a 2023 Maverick lariat. I'm planning to lift it. Do your tires rub when you turn the wheel.

    Any extra wear on the CV's or ball joints with the lift?

    • @reviveoutdoors4him
      @reviveoutdoors4him  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’ve heard people complain about this, but I haven’t had any issues and I am at 25-30k miles now

      @xxUncleBuckxx ปีที่แล้ว

      @@reviveoutdoors4him Yeah, I saw a comment on another video. Guy said he had to remove the lift after 7k and replace CV's. I figured it had to be installed wrong if the story was even true.

    Any trimming done in the wheel well to accommodate the bigger tires?

    • @reviveoutdoors4him
      @reviveoutdoors4him  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes sir. A small amount in the after side of each wheel well. You will have to play with it to get it dialed in. It still rubs the carpet wheel well at certain times

    The lift kit does not include shocks. Did you add new shocks? If so, which?

    • @reviveoutdoors4him
      @reviveoutdoors4him  ปีที่แล้ว

      I am using the factory shocks, but have considered upgrading if I add a Go Fast Camper setup, but otherwise haven’t needed anything more than the factory shocks and I have ran this truck pretty hard offroad.
      What are you thinking you will do?

    • @collinis1
      @collinis1 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@reviveoutdoors4himnot sure what I’ll do. I didn’t realize I would be able to lift it for $300 .so I’m tempted not to add shocks at first. Would you say the brace and sway bar are necessary?

    • @reviveoutdoors4him
      @reviveoutdoors4him  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@collinis1 from my experience, I would absolutely suggest the brace and sway bar because of the loosening and popping I was getting before I installed them.

    No disrespect but wth! Why would you buy a small electric truck only to lift it? You may as well have bought a golf cart

    • @reviveoutdoors4him
      @reviveoutdoors4him  ปีที่แล้ว +7

      I wish they made the hybrid in AWD. This is a gas truck. It’s actually a little bigger than 90s model ford rangers and s10’s everyone lifted back in the day.
      For me, I need a small truck with awd to go in logging roads and trails to refill corn feeders and change trail camera batteries for the nonprofit I run. It goes places big trucks wont go.
      Its like a side by side that can go anywhere you need it to on the road and almost anywhere a sxs can go in the woods.

      Why would you buy a small house only to remodel it and make it bigger? Sometimes something is very close to what you want, but not exactly what you want until you mod it.
