Nice job guys!!!!! Looks great. Thinking about doing the same to my Hot Pepper Red Lariat !!! Maybe not as aggresive a tire choice for me....but the height is great !
You should! It really transforms the look of these little trucks!!!
The lift looks really good...but my Maverick is only a 2x4😂😂😂
Mine too, so really wouldnt benefit that much I guess but man it looks good😅
lol just do it
Hows it holding up, any downside?
It looks great! I have an hybrid one and I want at least do decent aggressive tires but I'm concerned about the rubbing you talk about.
Do you guys think there would still be some rub on there if you put 245/65's instead of 246/75's? Thanks and cool videos!
I do not think there would be rub no, I think you would be just fine
new subscriber and loving the content!..
Glad you like it! Lots of other Maverick videos on our channel and more coming soon!
R.I.P your halfshafts. Cool to see you guys pushing the envelope though. Will be psyched to see beefed up drivetrain parts.
We are working with companies on that!
Wonder what the mpg loss is for the hybrid
Alot
This thing looks sick
I would like to know how much the wheel weighs and also what your gas mileage after you put these on because I have a Maverick tremor that gets 20 to 21 miles per gallon mixed driving which I was a little disappointed with. I’d like to do the same tire set up that you’re doing and lift.
I’d say it weighs around 43 lbs. per wheel & tire. I can’t tell you gas mileage at the moment with the extreme cold we are having here since it’s been -25 or so the last week I’ve been getting about 15.5 mpg since I put them on. But that’s with also starting the car for 15 minutes before I even walk out to it.
A couple years ago I almost bought bronze wheels for my 95 Supra. So glad I didn't.
They are literally everywhere now.
As a fellow Minnesotan, how well does it do with our winters?
Amazing
You should weigh them to compare the difference. Everybody wants to talk about looks and tread noise, but the biggest thing is the weight that affects acceleration and braking.
You are not wrong. The weight is a talking point.
That was a HUGE concern when I added my wheels/tires. I ended up going with a combo that was larger (31") but overall, the weight was 10 lbs less per corner for the new wheels/tires. So I didn't feel as bad going larger since it was a pretty significant rotating mass weight savings.
+38mm might have gotten you that little bit of extra clearance in the front. I’d be curious if you just mounted a pair of those tires on the factory 17” (IIRC, is +38), to see if it’s enough, up front.
Cant wait for mine. Bap black is being delivered
So in love with this channel!! Always doing big things! So proud! Keep up the great work guys!❤
❤️❤️
Got about 5lb of wheel weights on there 😂
There definitely is quite a few
Love it guys good details and nice project looking forward to future Maverick videos
Thanks for watching and making the comment!
Love the way the Vision Korupt 405 Wheels look! Even better in person (video) than the online pics. Great choice! Curious how they would look on a Carbonized Grey Maverick
I’m sure they would look great on there!!!
Where was that parking lot in the drift video??
Carver Minnesota
I thought you guys were going to out do me…
I got the same lift put on and got 265/65R17 Falken Wildpeak AT3W’s on my stock Tremor wheels with 1” spacers. Did have to do some slight trimming but well worth it.
Well played!
It looks amazing and those tires and wheels look sick. Things you didn't share that I wish you did. 1. Does this affect gas millage and by how much? 2. What about increased road noise? Maybe you don't think either one of things factors but it's good to report so others can make decisions based on your findings. Cheers. Love the vids. Keep em coming.
I cannot report gas mileage because of the extreme cold we have been living it so it’s very inaccurate. With long remote starts and snow on the roads I’ve been averaging 16.7 But yes it is obviously going to be very negatively impacted.
Road noise depends entirely on the tires you buy, these ones are somewhat loud around 30 miles an hour but quite everywhere else.
Question...If you buy an XLT, can you upgrade that trim level to the push button start that the Lariat gets?
You cannot
Sweet
Is yours a hybrid? What’s your mpg now?
mine was a 2.0 I was getting about 18mpg with the lift and wheels/ tires
How smooth does it drive?
Very! Other than the rubbing
Toyota doesn’t have country music like this little ford truck
You bought Chinese Bombs!!! Really>>>noy good.
I love the look of this.
Definitely quite cool looking

your CV axles are gonna be in bad shape with that lift. very well known issue with a lift kit.
4000 miles later, they are fine
@@PerformanceOnWheels it takes time. Just keep an ear out for clunking or shaking in the front under acceleration aroumd corners.

How's the camber? CV joints holding up?
