    I tried this but when I exported the fbx from Mixamo the second time (after t pose correction) when I imported it into blender it was wall messed up.

    you didn't tell how to select bone that's corespond with the mesh weight paint tho (luckly i pres ctrl + right click and found it)

      My appologize. That's right. To select the bone you can click either CTRL + RMB or SHIFT + RMB (it's also working)

    my bug is in my 3d model's hand fingers, they randomly stretch during mixamo animations, how do i fix it? I don't know how to do that painting you did.

      Hi! Make sure your hand model has 5 separate fingers. It is important that the vertices dont intersect between the fingers and do not merge. The construction of authoring in Mixamo will depend on this.

    hey, thanks for a video and your tip! i did this way and it worked. but I faced a problem, when I uploaded mesh with a rig to mixamo, and than download animation, it doesn't play in Blender. The animation consists of 2 keyframes and character doesn't move. Could you help me, maybe you had something similar?

      Hi! Thanks for support! I'm glad to be helpful. Actually, I haven't seen similar issue before. I think, it have been caused due to issue with the blender importer. Could you try exporting .dae from Mixamo? This might be solution to the problem.

    Why when I do this my mesh deforms. I have an added backpack on the character

      This is possible when you backpack have a weight from other bones. Either you need to clear backpack of all weights or revise the existing one. If you want to clean and reweight, select the backpack in "edit mode", separate selection and delete all vertex groups. If you want correct curent weights, open "weight paint" mode and select "paint mask". For convinience, you can select the backpack by seam, have pressed "L" to select and "shift+L" to desselect. Click on each bone, you can fill zero weights by pressing "Shift+K" .

    I feel like I’ve missed a step. My rig is still having a weight painting issue. Do you have an email I could send you my rig to fix the weight paints

    tihs didn't work for me. When try to apply this, the model is ruined
