hello great tutorial! could somebody help me out with a problem I have? When I add the movement on the character it get‘s distorted. how do I fix that?
2:22 - imports walk 3:22 - how to blend animations so its not instantaneous 3:50 - imports the run 4:40 - make sure to move the keyframes of the action 5:30 - how to extend the run clip
Mixamo works great like this, if you can combine the movements this quickly in Blender, the combination of Blender and Mixamo really has a lot of utility for 3d artists.
Very helpful, and clearly explained. Thanks!!! Now I just need to learn how to do this with animations that are not "in place," so that the character doesn't return to the starting point on each transition. Is there any simple way to do this?
Thank you for the lesson! Just 2 questions. First - How to fix when the legs move from one pose to another and fall into plain? The second question is, when there is a transition from one animation to another, the character returns to the center, how to make it transition in one place. Thank you!
Thank you very much for this video. I managed to combine 4 animations and export them to Element 3D. I previously tried this directly in the element, but the transitions between animations were not smooth.
thank you so much for the tutorial, i am totally grateful, so thus i subscribed♥ however, question!! if i may... when i extend the "repeat" on my animation either "walking" or any other move, it moves my character back to the center spot from where it was moving to. is there a way to fix that and make my character continue their path..????
Hey, awesome tutorial! I have a question tho: my second animation blends in, but is rotated 180 degrees on the x axis, although the rig isnt. Do you know what might cause this problem?
hi thx for the tutorial it really helps me alot but i have a doubts can i use this method for fighting styles like various moves in one single animations
bro great but i am having problem when i dont select the in place option and want the ch to move and add another animation on that it returns to the same place and then start the another animation
Hello Balu, I'm having issues with two mixamo animations that I'm trying to blend. I'm using the same mannequin as in the video. The issue is the character won't stay in the same position after finishing the "Swing to Land" move. ...and I think it's related to the Mesh's Origin. - Swing to Land - Crouch to Stand. If you or anyone else could shine a light on my problem, that would be great. Thank you guys, Cheers.
Hello thank you for great tutorial it worked really well. But how can i export final result as a fbx file as a whole animation can i ask couldn't find anywhere thanks.
I'm working on Blender version 4.1, and I think it doesn't work the same way. You must not move the animation which arrives at frame 1. Otherwise, it won't create a new track in the NLA!!...maybe it's an improvement in Blender..... ….. Thank you very much for your training !!!
Thanks bro! Subscribed But on the 5:00 there is no need to move the keyframes of RUN animation, you can easily move the RUN strips to desired location on NLA editor, that is were NLA editor shines
You have a lot of notoriety. Can you do it quick piece on this like? Maybe just an informative thing telling people in one of your videos that I fixed them mixamo add-on for a blender 4.0.... didn't know when they were gonna update it. So I fixed it and posted it on my channel. It's in my Fast Animation Studio Toolz folder.... The link is under the appropriately named video all ready to install...That way people If people are struggling and like needing it for their jobs or their professions.... They could find it....
I think I'll need more practice with this, but for some reason when I go to push animations down into an action, the blending mode changes. Sometimes I need to use combine, sometimes replace, for the animation to look right but then when I push down the character's arms merge into itself.
I've faced the same problem when I tried to combine idle pose with walking animation, but smh when i changed the extrapolation-mode to "nothing" my character shoulder bone got twisted weirdly, and as a SOLUTION i just rearrange shoulder bone in edit mode and add a keyframe into the shoulder bone's rotation parameter. and don't know how, but it worked for me! hope this helps! :)
hello great tutorial! could somebody help me out with a problem I have? When I add the movement on the character it get‘s distorted. how do I fix that?
found the solution! somehow it only works if I export every movement -with skin- on mixamo. maybe it’s because I 3D scanned my character.

This is a nice variation of the way I saw combining animations done before. I like having the option of using those blending curves.
A nice variation?...what taking someone else's work and calling it your own....
That's not variation, it's plagiarism...
