@@toamszkozak8822 Soyeon is definitely the most charismatic and powerful one but Soojin is powerful in her own lane, besides her incredible dancing skills, her badass stage presence, and her angelic vocals no one in Gidle nor 4th gen could go up against her. She just had that aura that made her stand out.

Senorita stans we rise!! For real though, Soojin will always be dear to me. I adore her and I hope that there is some company big enough out there to scoop her up or that she finds success in whatever she does if it's no longer entertainment. She's too talented and amazing to not be living her best life.

I miss Soojin everyday :( She will always hold a big place in my heart. I love everyone in GIDLE but Soojin really draws me even when she just stares. She is the most quiet member but my heart is so noisy pounding for her. She's so talented to be wasted.
Soojin was the target of a bullying accusation by a former classmate, and their company Cube Entertainment was basically the biggest ass in trying to defend her. While almost every other idol accused of bullying was cleared or protected by their companies, Cube felt that the only way to save themselves was to just...let her go and kick her out of the group and later terminate her contract. Her departure was one of the most shocking things in the world of kpop in 2021. Even people who did not consider themselves Neverlands (a.k.a. the fandom) were shocked to see GIDLE go from 6 to 5. And it further cemented Cube Entertainment as one of the worse companies in SK. From kicking Dawn out of Pentagon for being in a relationship to them sabotaging CLC and never really giving them a chance, they suck in many ways. It hurts cause she was their main dancer and was known for her insane charisma and sweet vocals. That's why I wasn't so crazy about their latest album because not only was it a formation difference, but it was also an audio difference. GIDLE will always be six in my heart, though.

It's easy to call cube the worst company in SK but in this specific case we don't have a lot of info of what really happened. If they just wanted Soojin out to save themselves they would have kicked Soojin out of the group earlier and wouldn't wait 7 more months to get her out of the company. Also this case is different of many other idol bullying scandal because there was an other celebrity involved and in SK actors have usually more consideration than idols. There is also a word were the decision of leaving was also Soojin choice because we don't really know how this scandal impacted her. So instead of hating cube just for hating I'd rather just continue to support the girls and hope that Soojin is fine where she is right now.
CUBE IS THE WORST! They use the idols until the point They dont want anymore and make another group. I hope Soojin can go to a company wich really take care of her because she Is an amazing performer!
But we should support GIDLE either ways....Soojin chose to leave because she didn't want to affect her group...I bet they are still hanging out behind the scenes though

Some info for these songs.
Let's start with SENORITA since it's your fave:
-The song, especially the rap part, as well as the MV itself is intentionally chaotic. The lyrics and story says something about it. It is about a "love at first sight" or "one-night" kind of thing. And with this kind of relationship mostly is abrupt and chaotic.
-During the rap part, Soyeon intentionally had an off-beat type of rap but it blends so damn well with the lyrics and visuals. She's literally saying "where are you looking?" "are other people important?" "just focus on me", thus she's stating that don't let anything (visuals, flashes of light, music) distract you and just focus on Soyeon. This goes as well with the unusual song pattern (intro, v1, pre-chorus, chorus v2, pch, ch, bridge,, outro), being so out of order.
-MV is like near death but they're just walking straight without flinching. This is because of this type of relationship that you know the dangers and red flags around it but you still go on unfazed. Also, this was sponsored by KAJA, a cosmetic brand so they're also showing that they can stay "BEAUTIFUL IN THE MIDDLE OF CHAOS"
-They really do love lollipops. it MAYBE because Soyeon loves licking things (kinda her signature move)?? But here the lollipop have the razor blade inside and Soyeon can see it, yet still chose to lick it. It may symbolize that tho the danger is obvious, she still wanted to taste that short sweet moment.
-Kfans didn't liked it, and this song got them almost no wins and awards. This is due to the things above that were not "trending" in korea that time. But IDLE is always the rebel and revolutionists.
-FUN FACTS:
~~ Some fire were real like the elevator/lobby where SOOJIN is. The exploding light bulbs were real as well, and SOYEON's hair actually got burnt by a spark. She had to cut it due to the damage.
~~Soyeon thought of the brass instrumentals while walking home from the studio.

LATATA:
-Is their debut song that Soyeon created coz she was pissed at the management for delaying their debut due to no title track. So she created this and presented it, and well it passed.
-Soyeon love Latin music and shows, that one day she watched a gag show where the actor said "LATA LATA LATA". To her it sounded like a spell or magic. So when writing this song she used it as a "LOVE SPELL" thus the lyric of the song.
-The intro where Soyeon and Soojin have an interaction with the fox mask is directly connected to Soyeon's solo songs (before IDLE) "JELLY" and "IDLE SONG". You should check those out.
-The MV may not have any connection with the "love" meaning of the lyrics. But it was them playing around, with weird things going on. This is connected as well to their group name IDLE sounds like "AIDEUL" which means "children" in korean. That's why their fandom name is NEVERLAND, a place where kids stay as kids, and happy thoughts makes them fly.

HANN (Alone)
-This was the first part of the song trilogy. Soyeon said that to understand it, you should listen to HANN (Alone) >> HANN (Alone in Winter) >> HWAA.
-It was about betrayal and forgetting something. The scorpion stung and hurt them. They promised to forget about that (guy).
-The old ruins in the middle of desert is that memory being forgotten, but also how ruined they were after that breakup. The black dress and veil connects to someone dying (memories, thought, care). Then the oasis and colorful dress, the flowing growing states life, new beginnings, and hope.
-In the end, they showed the scorpion being kept in the jar. At first it was like locking up the past, BUT with HANN (Alone in Winter) and HWAA's release, this signifies that they really didn't forgot nor let go, but they still kept the past with them inside a transparent fragile wall.
-FUN FACT:
~~MINNIE did the whistle
~~The scorpion was real and was aggressively trying to sting Soyeon.

You guys need to watch "My Bag" the performance video. It's a really good way to get to know every member of (G)I-DLE, since they're all highlighted. Also, at least watch the Performances of Queendom! (G)I-DLE are such monster rookies on that show. "Put It Straight) Nightmare Version" is probably the best of them stage (the Performance Video) is also pretty awesome of that. I-DLE are like my ult group along with Drearmcatcher. I'm so jealous you get to see both!!!!
Also, Yugi has "Bonnie & Clyde" which like no one has ever reacted to, & it's soo so so so good.

I know for most people when you think of gidle their minds go straight to Soyeon because she's an ace and the most predominant member but to me Soojin was the essence of the group because for me gidle is sexyness and Soojin exudes sexyness with every breath.
I discovered them in 2019 at MBC Music Festival, I was following the show because of other groups and then gidle came in with "Lion", the first member who caught my attention was Soojin, I was like "TF IS THIS GODDESS?"...then my bias became Yuqi because I love her tone but still gidle is one of my all time favourite groups, i love every member equally but Soojin really left a void
Fun fact: the whistle in Hann is made by a queen, Minnie👑

- The more popular one being the Korean pronunciation: 우기 - pronounced like "Oo gi"/"Ugi"
- The less popular but still used by Chinese fans: 雨琦 (Yǔ qí in Pinyin transliteration) - pronounced like "Yu chi"
I don't think "yuki"/"uki" are particularly correct ways to say it, but it's normal for international fans to mispronounce her name in those ways (and I haven't seen Yuqi herself mind).

Awesome, mini (G)I-dle marathon! Glad you two were able to react to these together because it's always fun watching one who knows the videos vs one whose never seen them and your different takes. This group and Iz*one were my 3rd (Correction: 4th) Generation favorites because while they both had different sounds, they kept trying new styles and visuals to always keep you guessing. I'm sure they're going to be amazing live.

Explanation of Senorita of G(I)-DLE (My point of view):-
I think this mv is about five girl who carry bad luck. As a we see.......soojin walked in the elevator cut to is crashed. Then yuqi is in a room where gas is leaking,cut to minnie comes with a birthday cake where lit candles are over it, it means the whole room will blast( which we saw at last everyone is dancing in a room which caught fire). Then cut to miyeon was in bathroom, then we saw a sink which was overflowing with wter and then we saw a hair dryer over water which electrified the whole room. Then we suhua going through a road cut to a crane suddenly appeared. After this minnie touched a shop door and the signboard fell. Then in that "fu fu...." Part we saw everyone was sitting then suddenly a car caught fire and crashed. Cut to yuqi was walking to a man hole....
There are many scene where they are destroying everything near them.

Just my opinion but, Minnie - Miyeon - Yuqi is the best vocal line in KPOP, next to Mamamoo.
Gidle are the definition of "5$ and a dream" lol Cube didn't even give them a good song to debut they had to write and produce their own songs.(Soyeon was literally 19 years old when she wrote and produced Latata) Their first photo shoot was next to trashcans and their debut album only sold 260 copies on the first day due to Cube not promoting them.( You saw the MV yourself so...)
But everyone loved Latata! it became a hit and Korea started referring to them as monster rookies!
It was only after the huge success of Latata that cube considered promoting them (And they really didn't do a great job with it even to this day!)
That's why the success that they have today is 100% because of their talents and nothing else.
Also i don't think they would perform Senorita in kpop flex. for some reason, the members hate this song (jk or maybe not)
