TOPIC: BLACKPINK JENNIE
Her full real name is Kim Jennie (김제니), but other Blackpink members call her "Jendeukie." Sometimes, she is also called "Nini. She was born on January 16, 1996 in Anyang City, located in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. She is the only child in their family. She is the 2nd oldest member of the group. Blackpink members voted Jennie as the best cook among them. She spent five years growing up in Auckland, New Zealand. As a result of living abroad, she became a fluent English speaker. Jennie started her training after moving back to Seoul from New Zealand. A talented high schooler at the age of 14, she became a YG Entertainment trainee in 2010. She trained in YG for 5 years and 11 months becoming the member with longest trainee period. Same as the other three members of blackpink, Jennie came from a wealthy family, where her father owns a hospital and her mom is a successful business woman, a share holder and board member of CJ & M company. Even though she grow up rich our girl manage to take her own path and she auditioned in YG Entertainment, one of the Big 3 or the biggest Record Label and Entertainment Company in South Korea. After more than 5years of training she debuted in August 2016 as the main rapper and lead vocalist of BLACKPINK.
TAKE NOTE: The American record labels and Korean record labels are completely different. In America, a label will scout you and pick you up as an artist. In Korea, you audition at a company in hope of being a trainee. If you pass and become a trainee, you train for years in sing/rapping and dancing and other things to debut. The company will then decide whether or not they’ll debut you in a group or as a solo artist. You debut with people you’ve been training with or you'll never debut at all. Blackpink started training together since they were 14-15 years old, trained for 4-10 years and they debuted in August 2016. Blackpink when signing contract in their company it states that they are fobidden in 6 things----- drinking, smoking, clubbing, driving, plastic surgery and dating. But in late 2018, Jennie and EXO's Kai were reportedly dating but in early 2019, SM Entertainment (EXO Kai's Agency) confirmed that Jennie and Kai broke up, in order to focus on their personal careers.
WHY PEOPLE LOVES JENNIE MORE AND MORE:
HER LOVELY PERSONALITY
she is a pretty, lovely, humble and sweet person but she can be savage and funny at the same time. She's fierce on stage, yet she's really sweet behind the camera. The proof? She has a gummy smile that is as soft as cotton candy! Another side of Jennie that you probably didn't know about is her warm, bubbly, and adorably cute personality. Jennie is such a beautiful person, but she's also a normal human who gets frightened by creepy things, startled by horrific objects, and cries like a poor baby. As what their In House Producer and Senior Teddy Park said in their Neflix Documentary Light up the Sky, Jennie she is a perfectionist, she is very clear about her opinion.
HER PASSION and DETERMINATION
jennie is a kind of person who get out of breath, get hurt and get tired easily. one time on their concert she sprain her ankle while going down the stair, but she just continue to do the show and stays strong for the the blinks. during also on their concert she's not feeling well but she continue to give her best and would never give less, but the staff want her to feel better that's why the members continue the show without her and told the members told the fans that jennie just not feeling very well and she's thankful for blinks to make it to their concert.
HER BEING INDEPENDENT and GREAT ROLE MODEL
She is an only child, being strong indepent she is, I really admire her for that. She goes to korea to train all by herself because she has the passion to reach and achieve her dreams. We all know blackpink members are rich even before they became blackpink but they didn't look at theirselves higher than anyone and when you became a trainee you just have yourself, trainees are ostensibly allowed to communicate with their parents, the nature of the beast doesn't leave much time for it. Trainees' phones are taken away for almost the entire day because they usually practice 12 am to 12 pm a day. Actual visits from family members occur rarely, if at all, and only with approval from management supervisors and once on their life when still a trainee they lived in a dorm together, and they only do grocery one a month where at some point they have to only eat scramble eggs and strawberry jam, they didn't want to ask money to their parents and revealed that they once live with cockroaches. Blackpink and Kpop Artists as a whole experienced the same situation and it's not easy at all even if you are rich there is no exception and even some other kpop artist are not supported by their parent to became one but they did it all by theirselves because they has the passion to do achieve their dreams but haters is just cruel and always gonna hate.
HER THOUGHTFULNESS
During their 1st Private Stage with Blinks. She really wants to perform for blinks other than performing their song, so she ask help from Rosé and the member of their own concert band to teach her how too play guitar so she practices it until the end of their world tour concert before the private stage.
HER GOOD HEART
BLACKPINK have donated 40M KRW (34,000 USD) for restoration of the highland and to help support the victims of Sokcho forest fire. According to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association, on 8th April, Blackpink members Lisa, Jennie, Rosé, and Jisoo donated 10M KRW each to their organisation. When the wildfire occurred on the evening of the 4th, Blackpink said, "we sympathise with the pain of the residents of the Gangwon area," they also cancelled their comeback press conference meeting which was scheduled the next day. In Dec 2018 they were awarded prize money of 20M KRW (16,800 USD) by Elle Styles Awards, but being angels they are they donated the amount to low-income and single-parent household in South Korea. And they donated another 16,800 USD worth fruits for low income people to sell.
HER BEING GRATEFUL and APPRECIATIVE
Every fanmeets, concert or other events the girls would always got expensive gifts from fans. But you know what, regardless of the price, the girls would still jump for joy getting gifts from fans. There's no gift too grand or too simple for them. But sadly, In October 2021 YG Entertainment release a statement saying that the girls won't accept gifts anymore only written letters from blinks, they want their fans to use their money for good cause like donation or charity.
BLACKPINK is the best or one of the best most multilingual speaking group in KPOP industry. Below Lisa who speak 5 different languages Jennie rank 2nd as member who speaks more languages, she speaks korean, english, and japanese fluently and currently learning french with Lisa. Her full real name is Park Chaeyoung, or commonly known as Rosé but other Blackpink members call her "Chaeng." Sometimes, she is also called "Chipmunk", "Foodsé", and "Pasta" She is korean but was born on February 1997 in Auckland, New Zealand and raised in Melbourne, Box Hill, Australia. As a result of living abroad, she became a fluent English speaker with an Aussie accent. She came from a wealthy family where her Dad and Sister are International Lawyers the reason why they lived in Australia. She audition because her dad ask her to and ended being the only one who passed among more than 700 people who auditioned. Rosé started her training after moving back to Seoul from Australia. She trained for 4 years and 2 months (May 2012). She is the third oldest member of the Group.
After more than 4 years of training she debuted as the main vocalist, and lead dancer of the biggest girl group called BLACKPINK.

MUSICALLY INCLINED
As many blink says she is the most musically among the members even though Lisa plays ukelele, guitar and piano, Jennie plays guitar and Jisoo drum. She plays many instruments. She is considered the most musically inclined in the group which answers why she has the most spotify playlists. She loves music.
HER ANGELIC VOICE
Many fans love her because of her angelic soothing voice. Even their seniors from Bigbang like Seungri and G Dragon complimented her.

Was born by the name Pranpiya Manobal(n) but later changed her name to Lalisa on the advise of a fortune teller that this name will bring her a great luck, but was does Lalisa mean? translation: the one who is praise. Sometimes, she is also called "Lili". She was born on March 27, 1997 in Buriram Province, and moved in Bangkok, Thailand when she aged three. She is an only child. She grow up comfortably in Thailand and as far as known, Lisa was educated at Praphamontree II International School and the tuition fees there amounted to about 20K USD per year. She was part of a dance crew before along with Bambam of GOT7 who was her bestfriend for more than 15 years. Fame runs in her family because her dad is Marco Bruschweiler a famous renowned Swiss Master Chef in Thailand and Switzerland. Her family owns a hospital and they own a culinary school. But growing up rich doesn't mean you are rich yourself, Our girl took part in an audition organised by YG Entertainment in Thailand in 2010, where she outshone the competition. Winning the first place, Lisa was the only candidate and the first non-korean artist to be accepted as a trainee at YGE beating more than 4K auditionees. Started her training for more than five years after moving back to Seoul, South Korea from Thailand. She made her public debut as the main dancer, lead rapper and sub vocalist of World's Biggest Girl Group BLACKPINK, when the group launched in 2016.
The reason why Lisa now has bigger fandom, is that Lisa is one the kind of idol that attracts international fans with her kinda western vibe/swag that mostly kpop idol don't have, tho' there are some. And it's okay to love her, to have bias on her or have bias on other member, but please don't spread hate to her or to other members or idols. She is my bias, not just because of her being swag and talented, but because of her huge and genuine heart.
WHY PEOPLE LOVES LISA MORE and MORE:
HER PROFESSIONALISM
She went to Milan for Prada's fashion show. Took a 12 hour flight back to SK, and from SK, took another 4 hour flight to Japan for their last Japan Dome concert that started just a few hours after she landed. But seeing her on stage during that concert you would never guess she just came from a 16 hour flight. Her energy was overflowing. She never ever gave less. And that is not the only time that she had back to back flights between countries to attend a show or interview or conference. During her trip to Paris, she had a 12hrs flight, cameras shoved to her face, barely got space to breathe yet she was smiling, taking fans gifts, signing albums and interacting with everyone and taking pictures with them. Not even a slight look of being annoyed but just a pure soul being thankful and humble as ever.

BLACKPINK donated 40 million won or 34,000 USD to the victims of fire in South Korea. In December 2018 they were awarded prize money of 20 milliom won or 17,000 USD by Elle Styles Awards, but being angels they are they donated the amount to low-income household and another 20 million to low income single-parent household in South Korea. Lisa donated 200,000 baht or 8,000 USD to the victims of flood in Thailand she donated it quitely without any intention of media attention. She was scammed by her former manager for about 1billion won or 820,000 USD, she keep it and settle it privately. She created a TH-cam channel as a way to give back to her fans. She also helped and supported Education in her hometown. She contributed to the education of Thai students and worked out support from the Korean Foundation for International Cultural Exchange to set up a learning centre. Earlier this year 2022, Blackpink along with other YG Artists and Actors donated 500M KRW or 400K USD to help with the recovery of wildfire damage in South Korea. Even all BP members says that she's the one who keeps them motivated, happy and stayed positive, and always makes them laugh. sometimes its really sad to see she's getting so much unnecessarily hate, just because she's being true to her natural self. i do hope, more people will see this one of a kind star and appreciated her more.
