    Very detailed and helpful video. I have been having a hard time identifying this exact issue, but I too have a very pronounced clicking from the front end in my M2 just like you show at the beginning of the video. I suspect my issue is the wheel bearing as mine is corroded like crazy but I am going to just get all the parts listed and freshen up these areas of the car.

    My Nissan GTR and Audi R8 both suffered with this same clicking noise. All that was required in both cases was to clean the mating faces if the wheel and brake disc and apply a thin layer of copper grease before refitting and re torquing. Might be worth a try before hand.

    • @TheHunterHofman

      To be honest, I have never driven a stock M2 so I can’t really compare. Having said that, it’s stiff, but not too stiff. I think it’s pretty great actually. You can also adjust it to your liking. I believe mine is lowered 10 mm (compared to stock). Hope that helps buddy (and consider subscribing)!

    Hi, I see you putting jack stands on what looks like the inner end of the LCA. Is it safe? If so, that would make supporting a BMW so much less of a headache.

    • @TheHunterHofman
      @TheHunterHofman  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you place the jack correctly and still have the jack support the car as well, I would say it’s safe. If you want to do it 100% correctly (which, I’ll admit, I didn’t here) you should have the car rest on jack stands placed under the jack pads (with the right jack pad adapters). As you say, it’s more of a hassle though. For myself, this was a good balance between safety and amount of hassle.

    Would you say the repair kit has enough adhesive for both sides, or do I need to buy it twice? I am planning on replacing my control arms at the same time so hopefully I will have plenty of room to get to that pesky final bolt which you struggled with.

    Hi may I ask you know which grease or Lubricant like BMW repair kit that one ?? is that very sticky like gasket sealant?? Many thanks.

    • @TheHunterHofman
      @TheHunterHofman  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sure man, it was not like gasket sealant and I wouldn’t recommend that (as the function of the kit is not to seal, but to stick the wheel bearing to the hub (eliminating any room for microscopic movement)). It was like a very sticky glue like grease. A bit like Pritt glue. Hope that helps (and please consider subscribing 😎)
