Hmmm. I tried fixing it myself "over a weekend" and it became a 6 day weekend. LOL But I fixed it. The take away is: Don't do it unless you have a spare car. Great video, too! Having the whole kit is a great help.
I have this noise problem after spending more than a thousand dollars and still making noise after trading to the dealer I found that I still forgot to replace the rubber spacing. Now I learned something new for the suspension noise . Thanks
I really appreciate this channel. Whoever came up with the idea to create a how to channel from your company was a genius! These videos have helped me so much with my 2001 Honda Civic that has over 200k on it. Needless to say it needs some TLC and I appreciate being able to get professional help through these videos from people who can not only explain abd show me how to fix things in my car, but why I need to do it, what might be able to wait and what can't, and how one thing can lead to another. I hope you continue to create these videos!
these 1A Auto guys are the best ...very informative , educational and unbiased.. clear vids...good lightning and excellent camera work ...sure they want to sell parts , but they do it thru education and building trust with customers NOT by a hard sell or being sales pitchy ...wish you guys all success and thanks again
Wow information that is necessary to understand the problem. My mechanic “its fine” which helps nothing and offers no solution happens alot they tell me its fine and wont look into it pretty annoying. If i come to you saying this is making a noise im asking to help me fix it because you are the professional. I wish we had mechanics like this in MA
How interesting my 4x4 88 toyota truck still has no play and the ball joints rubber boots are not leaking and are not able to be greased. 350K on the suspension. I'm glad I PAID that extra $$$ back when I bought it knew, rather than buying from the other car makers.
Word of warning, I messed up on ordering my part and I had to eat the cost for shipping it back. Lost $170. I was the one who messed up by not specifying that I had rear wheel drive vs 4 wheel drive, but had I ordered local and made this mistake, I would have gotten my full refund.
Would like to know if I had a front end alignment so I need to have a nother one if I change to knew shocks old ones have front end bottoming out have no bumpstops
No clunking or creaking noises on my 2010 Expedition, but a lot of squeaking front and back coming from underneath going down the road. Also when I I turn the steering wheel while running my engine in park. Thoughts?
Is it worth it to change all the components except for the suspension? I just replaced my front suspensions stabilizer link and man it made a world of difference.
I have a question my rear tires of my 2011 ford flex are wearing unevenly the inside is worn bad what components of the rear suspension could cause this? Any help is appreciated. Thanks Enrique
Have a question have a 2015 Chevrolet server when I go reverse or drive sometimes make clunky noise when it wet underneath make more noise I can’t figure out
Any video for an intermittent front end pop noise? I've just put on new struts, sway bar links and brake pads/rotors on my '07 Nissan Altima, but get an occasional pop sound in the right front area. Even double checked my torque spec for all including lug nuts. But it is usually when going over a bump.
when drving to bumping road it make squisy noise i did bring to workshop all there did putting some lupe 😂 or idk maybe slime making the noise go away that all the workshop guy do it does work but few day it start making noisy sound again (sorry no good in english)
I have a 2023 Chevy Silverado Duramax 3.1 have a BDS 6-inch kit put in, but the driver side makes a noise, if I push the car up and down it makes the noise. the whole assembly removed and put back together, and it still makes noise can you help
Can I come and fix my car at your shop? I'll buy the parts from you but I need to use your tools. . Seriously though my cars a junker and everything in your video is what's wrong with my car. It's so bad that a part is hitting up against the rotor. I haven't a clue what the part of the car is called which is why I'm watching your video. Trying to get insight on how to rig it until summer . Use to driving the car that takes extra turning to keep it straight. Get that it's a road hazard which is why I don't go over 30 .
I have a 2011 ford escape, I just replaced my front end control arms (which needed to be fixed ). My car is making a clunking sound anytime I go over bumps or potholes. I just can’t figure out the problem, any ideas?

If your steering is loose it's Definitely your rack & pinion. I just did mine like 2 weeks ago, & it feels way better

Worn engine mounts or transmission mounts can also result in clunking noises.

What would cause black stuff in the antifreeze reservoir, and what would make the motor run hot? It’s a 3.1L GM motor
Correction, you don't have to remove the entire knuckle for press-in wheel bearings. There is a tool so you can do it on the car.
Very informative video.
I just took the car today to the dealer for a oil change and they told me today that I have to change both of my lower ball joints
