except a fan fiction would be more thought out because it wasn't given to a random vindictive second director for the second movie only for him to ruin all of the ideas set up by the first director.
So... Palpatine was the main antagonist for the third trilogy in a row? Such an unexpected twist had me thinking maybe M. Night Shamalayan wrote the story.
that was there attempt at fan service. bringing back the ole big bad. slowing becoming the next "Moriarty" (the always expected(unexpected villain))from EVERY sherlock holmes EVER.
I just now decided to watch that movie 2 minutes in I hopped on TH-cam and found this video. I very much appreciate you saving a hour and thirty minutes of my life
How come Rey and Kylo were using the Force so casually to heal/revive each other? In Episode 3 (The Revenge of the Sith), it was revealed by Palpatine that only Darth Plagueis learnt to use the Force to prevent someone from dying and that the Jedi would never use the Force to prevent death because the Jedi consider them unnatural?
It's one thing to heal a wound. What Palpatine was referring to was something different. Basically achieving immortality through the dark side of the force.
Josh Day they didnt heal Qui-gon, they didnt heal anyone form clone wars, they didnt heal anyone from order 66, they didnt heal any cut arms, they didnt heal anyone - then here anyone can use it just like that
I heard this somewhere and it really makes the ending off for me: of Rey considers herself a Skywalker now, doesn't that mean she gave in to the fear of being a Palpatine and did not accept who she is? I get that the message is probably that you define what it means to be you or something, but it's still kinda jarring.
it took me 4 years to realize that i never saw this movie… thank you for making it so i don’t have to lol… im a huge star wars fans but i’ll stick to rewatching the animated series 😂
spent this week rewatching the first 6 movies so that i'd have a more thorough understanding of the story, cuz i watched over 10 years ago when i was a kid. and now thanks to your 4 min summary of the disney trilogy, i can safely say im not watching this shit lmao.
Almost missed how bad was the story. New concepts such as healing force, hologram across the galaxy or lightspeed suicide ship could have been interesting, but they put them in place like a bunch of random sci-fi techs forgetting each and every bit of the franchise.
This all could have been wrote better; the girl should have died. The transfigured Jedi should have gave midacloriane cells to amp up Han's boy. He should have killed the bad guy (and said: see you around kid), the Maverick knights would've become the new Jedi. And, the movie should have been titled 'Rise of Solo' (My name is...Han; Han Solo. Like my father before me; Jedi am I...so, may the force be with you). Cut, scene, fadeout and...music. Han's boy would be admitting a truth he was running from (kids...tsk, tsk, tsk)-that girl just came off, sounding, like a liar.
Force Awakens: As a guy who had that "original star wars trilogy" childhood, I had some expectations of the new ones but nothing crazy. Then I saw Force Awakens and it pretty much blew me away. Most importantly (for me) it had that magical, original STAR WARS vibe. Yes! Good story with new characters, as well as classic characters, all good and done right! Awesome!!! My favorite Star Wars film after Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, respectively. So this got me really, really, really hyped for episode 8... The Last Jedi: ...aaaand it was a MONUMENTAL disappointment. That magic Star Wars feel was pretty much gone. It felt like a mediocre spin-off. Stupid code breaker and other luke-warm (eh eh) characters. Lukes death could have been one of the greatest, most emotional scenes in film history if they had done it right, but they didn´t, so it felt kind of rushed "no biggie ok Lukes dead ok next scene, bye". After this I waited for episode 9 only hoping that they would do the last film the honor it deserves. But... The Rise of Skywalker: Please kill me. 90% of the time it didn´t even feel like Star Wars, which I actually marveled at. How the hell did they even manage that. I´m so sad, sooo sad. Well, at least we will always have the old ones.
For me same opinion as like you.i would say it is because of Disney buy the rights for the star wars and they give more importance to the cool visual effects and fight scene they didn't give much importance to the conservation scene and it is sort which leads to the movie emotional less.even thought star wars story is good poor direction makes the movie worst. They don't know which scene have to give importance and they increase length of the scene which is unecessary.
Lame movie, 1:27, even the most powerful jedis could not destroyed something like that. I guess this is where the fictional movies go wrong against their own "logic", if any.
@@vishalbhat8602 Not just the lightning but every thing that required the usage of force requires training, merely being strong with the force doesn't mean shit but she defeated kylo with no prior training at all.
I still don't understand her just declaring herself a Skywalker lol. I'd understand if like they put more emphasis on their relationship but they used Luke and killed him off asap cause they are morons, and she met with Leia like what 2 or 3 times across the 3 movies? If Luke was like I kinda see you as a daughter, but I don't reacall any big connection wtih them, and I'm not about to watch them over again lol. But then again her and Kylo kissed which was also very weird and out of place.
So wait... Anakin's role as the galactic savior of the force was to have kids who became the incest ghost parents of the emperors blood daughter? ... So much for teaching my kids about Star Wars. Fuck Disney. I'm glad I waited this long to bother finding out.
So rey is palpatines grandaughter? I lost basicly all intrest of theese movie after they did luke skywalker like that. So much wasted potantial was destoyed.
This whole sequel trilogy feels like a fan fiction mixed with a fever dream
The only one i enjoyed was TFA

That was miles more coherent then the actual movie.
Damn, the movie actually makes sense if one leaves out all of the details. Never thought 🤔
I just love how rey could stop people from dying but the chosen one anakin couldnt

Underrated Channel
That's what I was going to write! But yes, it is extremely underrated.
Soo basically the force has killed Luke Skywalker,Leia and Kylo Ren
Florin Herlea How so?
Cool 37281 cool
Yo, this video is solid! The video is matched to the audio perfectly; it's short but thorough. Love it! Keep up the great work!

Because this trilogy is a mess that ignores the rules defined by the the previous trilogies.
It's one thing to heal a wound. What Palpatine was referring to was something different. Basically achieving immortality through the dark side of the force.
@@joshdaymusiced They could revive dead people, which is more than heal a wound.

Fantastic Summary, Underrated channel, This deserves more views.
A perfect summary. Keep up the good work :)
Movies in minutes channel is so underrated! I will be subbing for ever 👍
This channel makes me like the sequels even better because I understand it way better
I personally am not a big fan of them but i still wanna understand them batter
lol i can't bare to watch the movie , so i have to watch this instead.
Same lol, so glad I made the choice not to watch them
What’s so bad about it
I just did the same thing lol
I tried watching it, but honestly, compared to the older star wars movies it jumps between scenes so fast that I can't keep up with what is going on.
YESSSSS FIANALY SOMEONE WITH A BRAIN
Omg, thank you for saving me 2 hrs. Great ending too
Thank you for this... I completely forgot the entire plot of this movie...
I love your content! Please make more of these
i tried 2 times watching these new movies. couldnt make it through. thats why im here
This dude’s voice should be a whole ASMR podcast
❤️
I actually questioned myself if i've seen this movie now that its been laid out so eloquently by movies in minues.
it took me 4 years to realize that i never saw this movie… thank you for making it so i don’t have to lol… im a huge star wars fans but i’ll stick to rewatching the animated series 😂
Unable to watch the movie due to poor time management. Thank you for this recap.
Thank goodness for this recap because I did not want to watch this movie after finding out how it ends.
THANK YOU FOR THIS. For me the star wars movies just get more and more confusing, I needed an explanation
lol that was actually an incredible summary thanks bruv
Best video ever made
i was just watching ur sw8 vid😳
Awesome channel
Wow.. For someone whom haven't seen the movie yet, this is so surprising 😮😮😮😮
Nice recap! My personal favorite Star Wars film!

Am I the only one who loved this movie?
So Anakin's sacrifice was pointless...
*sigh*
What has happened to star wars
They should have given Rey a technologically advanced stick as her primary weapon.
She doesn't deserve a Lightsaber.
Thnks man
The beginning of the last movie when the thunder rumble flashes I saw Palpatine scary eyes like a zombie
Thanks
Jedi Assemble! I love when the Jedi of the past give Rey the strength she needs to continue. So awesome and heartwarming.
Can you do Get Out (2017)?
Lol this video came out exactly 100 days since rise of skywalker was released
So I'm a huge SW fan but I got lazy and didn't watch this movie but holy fuck what the twists
Same I just skipped this movie & got an obsessed with Mandalorian instead 😂
You should make a patreon account for us to support.
So basically grandson of Anakin and grand daughter of palpatine fight and the girl wins, like wtf???
I liked the movie and I'm glad I saw it, but the ending and whole "diad" thing didn't work for me. I still enjoyed the trilogy though
It would be cool if you did blade runner 2049
I love you❣
Godzilla king of the monsters in 3 minutes please
Can you do God father?
Think about it. Leia Organa who never finished her jedi training TRAINS Rey, who is already more skilled than Leia. What a shitfest!
I don’t understand anything about Rey’s parents

The force can magic people back to life? So why didnt Vader magic Padme back to life? This movie has PLOt hOlES.
Plot Armor.
Why didn't Obi Wan bring back Qui-gon
Bro plz upload the mission impossible fallout in 4 minutes VDO........
So the ‘rise of skywalker’ is the death of the last skywalker and an adoption by ghosts?
And people said Episode I-III were shit, lol.
Facts
I have now seen all the movies so far and they make little sense anymore
Waay better than The Last Jedi imo.
Wait so is rey a palptatine because she used force lightning but she calls herself a skywalker? Im confused
no its just that skywalkers are the "chosen one", so she is basically the next chosen one
She is a palpatine by birth I guess but she identifies herself as a Skywalker as like and Leia are like parents to her or some shit.
So episode 6 but “different”

I never was much into star wars i watched the first 3 and the one with jar jar bings but i hear this one is bad and only the first 3 was good
Original trilogy is the best. I thought this trilogy was pretty solid. Prequels are solid to. Revenge of the sith rlly saves it.
Anyone else watch this instead of watching the movie becuase of how bad everyone says it is
You must talk about Sonic the hedgehog you must tell story of Sonic
I've never bothered to watch it
You can skip to the action scenes after watching this summary. It's what I'm doing. Don't regret it.

Da fck, she kisses him lmao bro
Thnx! Honestly i just don't want to invest time in watching this disney shit
I actually liked the movie lol
Same
Same. I also liked TLJ
Honestly i dint really like this movie cause palpatine isnt even explained how he survived and Rey calls herself an skywalker but she is an palpatine
Why did Rey kiss kyle? Wtf?
Lmfao! That’s exactly what I said when I saw it!
what a bullshit movie. Even in a 4 min summary. Thx for this so I def know I never need to watch this crap.
Sorry bro
What a crappy ending to such an intriguing franchise. Thank you for saving me the time I would've otherwise wasted on this horrible movie.
i never understood starwars
I could only understand the original 3 and the sequels, not the prequels
@@minxreal lol same
