use a kraken drive instead. because of the way docking ports work you can use the magnetic attraction forces between 2 docking ports as a way to move without propulsion. just put a docking port on a piston facing another docking port and fine tune the piston length so that the docking magnets are engaged and boom you have a kraken drive. now all you need to do is mount it on a craft.
The firework propulsion at the end is a lot like project Orion, a space program that started with a blast plate that drops perfectly timed grenades behind it. The goal was to build a rocket that detonates nuclear explosions behind it to accelerate extremely quick

if you want the fuel to run trough decouplers, you should try enabling crossfeed on them. (Rockets normally arent supposed to let fuel trough, so it is turned off)

11:47 To be entirely fair, engines are less efficient in thicker atmosphere, AND the thicker atmosphere causes more drag, AND there's more gravity closer to kerbin. That's why getting out of kerbin's atmosphere takes about as much delta-V as maneuvering to another planet then orbiting
Hey RCE there's this glitch with this thing called the kal-1000 controller you can basically make any engine really over powered you can also do the glitch with firework launchers and get amazing results😁
Irl fireworks obviously won't work in space because of the 3 things fire needs to have to exist: fuel, oxygen and heat. It has fuel, it could have heat but it doesn't have oxygen, obviously...
I’m pretty (mostly) sure that the glitch is to with the amount of data stored in each part. For example a fuel tank containing oxidiser and liquid fuel will cause kraken attacks more often than one containing just liquid fuel
If it hasn't already been done, somebody needs to mod the UK space suits into this game. They had capes and made the astronauts look like a 50's version of the Warhammer space marines. Search "BIS lunar space suit" or "Tom Scott space suit"of you want to see.
You basically invented the Orion drive. Which was supposed to be propelled by a series of nuclear explosions below it. For some reasons it never flew... It also was meant as an upper stage in space, not to launch from earth....

Go to settings in KSP and look for (advanced tweakables) and then click that and then you'll have Auto strut
in the assembly building, in the top left, you can set custom actions/who pilots the vehicle
