OMG! Recreating

Today I am trying to recreate Alia Bhatt's pineapple cake that she baked with Chef Harsh for Ranbir Kapoor’s birthday this year. This one is a little different from your regular pineapple cake and so so good and scrumptious!!!

Ingredients:
Classic Victoria Sponge-
200gm butter
200gm sugar
4 eggs
200gm flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup milk
White Rum Syrup-
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp white rum
Pineapple Star Anise Jam-
half pineapple chopped
1/3 cup sugar
1 star anise
1/2 cup water
Buttercream Frosting-
2 cups butter
4 cups icing sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
