Watching this video, I fell in love with you guys. Sistah, you are the embodiment of my feelings when I listen to music! This video was a 30 minute journey through emotions for me. I've always gotten goosebumps when listening to this song, but I never cried out loud before. You brought that out of me and it was wonderful! I've been a hardcore Nightwish fan for over 10 years, but rarely have I felt their songs this intensely. I'm subscribing right away to you guys and I'm looking forward to watching all of your videos. Thank you for this wonderful experience! LE: I completely recommend you go to one of their concerts. I've been to my first one this August and it was two whole ours of musical emotional roller coaster which left me with a thirst for more.
Hi, Sunshine! 😀🤗🤗🤗 Wow! Your comment really touched my heart!! You are so beautiful. It felt so good reading that this reaction allowed you to freely express your love for this song. Thank you for your sweet, heartfelt comment. Than k you for the love and support. 😙😙😙💖
@@HalfLifeSistah this performance of this song was my introduction to this amazing band and the absolute powerhouse that is Floor Jansen! I loved it so much that I have literally watched every reaction to this video on TH-cam, and that has led me to you guys. I couldn't believe that finally I found someone else who felt about this performance the same way I felt let alone 2 of you! I immediately subscribed to your channel and now I look forward to seeing the notification pop up to let me know there is another amazing video been uploaded from my favorite couple on TH-cam. I would love to see you guys react to more songs from this concert or in fact I would sit and watch you react to the entire show! Thanks so much for making me feel like I am not alone, as no one around me seems to be affected by music in the way that I do. Even though I am half way around the world from you guys, when I watch your videos I feel as if I am right there with you. Thank you so much again, and please keep doing what you do! Much love from Australia
@@user-jy1bc3gw2q Normally it gets my eyes a bit stingy and wet. But when I watch it with certain reacters, especially Sistah, who feel this beauty for the first time... It's like I heard it for the first time.
@@black4pienus Yeah I get what you mean. It's like her empathy is so strong that it reaches out and grabs you. She's the kind of person that always makes you feel what they're feeling, energetically. I'll bet you her intuition is razor sharp, and combined with that level of emotion, she knows exactly what the fuck is going on at all times. She's a rare creature. =P He is a lucky man, and he knows it.
It’s been 5 years since this video dropped but from time to time I just need to come back to this. Not because of sistah’s reaction but because of Wolf’s. His reaction to hearing Floor singing for the first time is so pure and reminds me of why I first fell in love with her voice. Long may she gift us with her voice!
U nail it. It was Sistah first get me hooked and fall in love for this very lovely couple. But recently when I have watched again, to soak energy from their reaction, if I have anxiety or similar...but I just realize how deep it hitted to Wolf. I have learned more about his relationship to this band, what it mean to him as I have watch their other nw reactions. It is just so beatufil how Wolf seem to feel in this video. Thats why I want to throw question to you Wolf, sir? It is that u feel like found something long ago losted precious again? Or like u find your way home, in this context? I ask because I feel like u were anxious to see newest singer and instantly u start to realize, like u said yourself: " She fits nightwish perfectly"..so.did u feel reliefed in some sense? I really hope everything good in your and Sistahs life. I have not watched your latest/newest material in yt. All the best Middle aged finnish man
The mother of all Nightwish reaction videos. For the past 2 years of the pandemic I have watched so many Nightwish reaction videos its basically a hobby at this point. Really helped me get through it. Hope you two are doing well and thank you.
Absolutely agree. I've watched probably all of reviews of Ghost Love Score. This one was one of the first if not first ever. Still my favourite and still coming back.
This was beautiful. I mean I've been on a 4 hour marathon of watching people react to this song but you two took it to a whole new level. Thanks for sharing!
Experiencing NIGHTWISH Live with Tarja she drew out emotions. Floor will put you through a ringer of emotions and overload you senses. Seeming to pull some air from your lungs while her voice hits a sweet spot in your ears. I have seen grown men and women wipe tears from their face and I have seen people I know (avid speedmetal fans) faint.
Yeah, Floor is definitely the perfect singer for this band. She can do opera, she can do rock, she can even do some metal growling, and her voice just has a certain kind of warmness to it that both Tarja and Anette lacked. And It seems the band loves her as much as the fans do.
My favorite reaction, Im a 62 year old rock guy, first time I watched them I had to stop the video to because for some reason I got dehydrated from a massive leak from my eyes, drank two more beers and started it over, at the end of the video I had chills and had to drink two more beers....never heard anything like it, Im hooked!
Tracey K.....I will be 63 soon...so I understand! I have listen to hard rock/heavy metal since I started listening to Led Zeppelin and Steppenwolf back in the 1960's! I thought Metallica was the undisputed king of Heavy Metal....and now Nightwish gets dropped into my consciousness....& mind BLOWN!
I almost named my daughter Tarja, I was her biggest fan, still love her but ironically my daughter favorite singer is Floor Jansen, I'm a big fan of her as well, don't judge me, I love Annette too, but I love every single member as well, specially Tuomas, without him we would no have Nightwish, I love Marco, Empu, Jukka, Troy and Kai, Nightwish is amazing and im so lucky to taken my teen daughter to see them 4 years ago as her first concert ever, mesmerizing performance, sorry Tarja but I love Floor as much.
Four years later... I come still here. I "re-found" Nightwish back to my life same time as you did this legendary reaction. Nightwish brought beauty back to my tortured soul... And I cryed with you. I will always treasure your reaction to this ultimate beauty of Nightwish and Ghost Love Score
I was on this concert. You cannot imagine how it deeply touched my heart. I was like "Oh they got a new singer.. again.." but she just hit me totally off guard. im a 2 meters big guy that does fighting sports and i had tears in my eyes. You cant even closely feel the emotions in the crowd when she sang the first word while watching this video.
I remember my first Nightwish concert. It was in 2015, and I was still kinda sceptical of their "new" singer. And then - Floor happened. My jaw dropped right to the floor, and I'm still looking for it to this day.
I'm sure you'll never see this post but here goes anyway... This is my 4th time watching this reaction. There are three things (besides my love of Nightwish) that keep me returning: 1. Sistah's emotional liberation was clearly, lovingly, and unashamedly on display. Although she complimented her husband on his willingness to be vulnerable, it was she who was truly leaving her bare heart out for the world to see. Thank you for your honesty. 2. The loving, supportive, encouraging relationship between these two people is a wonderful example of how healthy relationships can look. There were no insults, only compliments. There was no snarkiness, only love and acceptance. There was no ridicule, only calming comfort. A beautiful showcase of true love...thank you for the example you set. 3. Of all the reactions I've seen, Wolf's is probably the best. His commentary and physical response to this song weighed more on me because he has a history there. It meant something more to him than most reactors can possibly understand. It was almost like he had lost someone close to him long ago, only to find them by happy accident. We all get to bask in the glow of his reconciled love of Nightwish. Thank you for adding a depth that many overlook.
@@AGDinCA you are my hero ,you've writing exactly 100% the same as inside my head I really want to say that but i don't speak English well Thank you brother/ sista
@@analeila That's how Nightwish fans call an eargasm with Floor is singing, you're totally free to use that word, and welcome to the Nightwish train =)
Bruh That floorgasm was so intense I thought she was about to have a seizure I was genuinely worried about her for a second But that intense of a floorgasm no doubt initiated many other intense floorgasms to come
@@HalfLifeSistah I don't mean this in a sick/pervy way, but you can physically see your full body reaction. Not just in your face, and expression, but you can quite literally see your nipples get hard. You can't fake that Floorgasm. That is an amazing connection with the music! I haven't even made it to the end of the video, but you already have one of my favorite reactions I've ever seen to a Nightwish song.
This is one of the best reactions to this performance. Floors voice is like a Dark Angel Goddess voice that can sing any style. In my opinion, the best metal singer in this generation.
BEST. REACTION. EVER!!!! You both allowed the music to wash over you and channeled it immensely. This was seriously so authentic and genuine. It made my heart smile watching you two experience the magic we diehard fans call the "Floorgasm". Welcome to the epic and wonderful world of Nightwish! Let's have another journey down the Nightwish river together :) I recommend "Nightwish - THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH (Live at Tampere 2015)". This is the happiest they've ever been as you can see the energy that permeates through them when they play. They are whole now and this reaction is why we're such devoted fans. Tuomas (and the entire band really) are musical masterminds, as few bands can move you to your core like Nightwish. PS. The pronunciation of Tarja is "Tar-ee-uh" or "Tarry-yuh" if that helps. :) Thank you for sharing this heartfelt reaction with us. I look forward to watching more of them!
Hi, Adam! ^_^/// Thank you so very much for such a beautiful comment! Wooww :) I'm so glad you were able to connect with us, while watching. Thank you for the correct pronunciation xD Tarry-yah, it is! And this is the beginning of my metal journey, but please believe that we WILL be revisiting more of NW, soon, so stay tuned ;)
Floorgasm: Common signs of a floorgasm are 1) Sudden loss of words in the midst of a sentence 2) Jaw dropping 3) Eye widening 4) Goosebumps and chills 5) Increased heart rate 6) Tears start flowing 7) A flow of words usually used in this way during certain other situations (OMG, WOW, incredible, soo gooood etc) 8) Heavy breathing 9) Throwing random shit around 10) Sinking back in the chair in complete surrender, Floor finishes her last note 11) The audience is completely exhausted but happy, the mating process is complete
12) feeling like crying and getting that throat ache that comes with crying but not being able to shed a tear so your vision doesn't get clouded and you can see what's going on.
LOL, I knew that would make her cry. The Poet and the Pendulum live would destroy her. Jukka had issues with insomnia and stepped down from playing in the band. He now does management for the band. The new drummer is Kai Hahto from Wintersun. Troy Donockley from the UK is the other full time member. He plays many instruments and does background vocals also.
@@the_eaglefan why the fuck do people go with Tempere?? This show is great but Wembley is so much better off of that DVD/Blu-Ray set! "The Poet and The Pendulum" and "Greatest Show on Earth" are so much better in Wembley!
I found Nightwish for the first time last night! I had never heard of them before...and I thought that Metallica was the greatest heavy metal band ever....and then Nightwish gets dropped into my consciousness...and my mind is totally blown!!! Maybe because I am a bit older now...I'll be 63 in a couple of weeks...and don't explore TH-cam for new metal bands, to me that is, and listen to them. I even listened to an "opera" singer react to this song, and she was blow away by Floor. She said that Floor had been a classically trained singer...and explained it pretty convincingly too. She could also replicate the notes Floor was singing and explained how she was doing it. She was rather amazed hearing her in the context of a metal band...instead of singing opera...but understood after listening to the whole song!
This was my first Nightwish song I'd ever heard. I'm 55 years old, and enjoy all types of music, except country and rap. Just not my thing. When i heard Floor, her voice brought me to tears, and awoke in me something i had thought long dead. Now i cant get enough of this excellent band and Floor. Succubus, Valkyrie, Siren, goddess in leather, call her what you will, but she will steal your soul, and you will love it. Thank you Nightwish.
I am 78 years old and never considered metal at all, but came across this video by accident. Spent hours looking at Floor interviews and videos. A beautiful woman with such a great voice. So glad she recovered so quickly after her operation. Can't lose such a talent so early in life.
I'm so glad Ghost Love Score is finally receiving the attention it has always deserved. Very validating as a long time fan of Nightwish. Floor is an absolute valkyrie up on stage and this must have been a legendary night to be a part of for the audience.
Same. I’ve been listening to them since 2006 and always thought even just from a composition standpoint this song deserved a LOT more recognition. I stopped listening to them for the most part in the 2010s and was shocked when I saw the resurgence they had in the 2020s.
I first heard this song when Tarja was their singer and fell in love with the song. One of the greatest ever. But this version, like you, brought tears. Floor took it to a whole new level, which seemed impossible, but here it is. Here it is.
I would never say that the best song in the world can be performed by different vocalists And both versions could be so awesome i cannot decide which one i preffer or which one i want to listen right Now! Speechless. And yes, seen in live. Other dimension, can't describe more.
This is THE BEST reaction to this performance I have EVER watched, thank you.... and it´s the only one that comes close to what I personally experienced. This (original) video still brings tears to my eyes whenever I watch it. And I´ve watched it for at least, AT LEAST, 100 times. I´ve been there in this crowd in Wacken 2013, Germany, and it´s my number 1 memory when it comes to concerts and festivals. I was in tears and I still am, watching this, and you guys should be, too.
I just want to thank you all so much for the continued love and support you give to our channel. I appreciate you all for accepting me and understanding me, as a (sometimes) overly emotional being ^_^ There is NO BETTER feeling in the world, than to feel accepted and understood. Some people come across my channel and over criticize me for being the way that I am. They do not understand me. But, thankfully, the majority of you, who watch our reactions and have subscribed to us, do. You understand and accept what we have to offer to this youtube world of reaction channels. It feels so wonderful =) You are all so beautiful. virtual hugs and kisses on the forehead to all of you. Peace. Love and light.
In Nightwish circles the emotions you were experiencing is known as having a Floor-gasm. I've seen them live a few times (and will be again in December) and even some of the more hardcore metalheads get really emotional with this song. It is usually played as the second to last song and the very moment the first bars play you can feel the emotion and expectation rise and rise. You can feel the collective goosebumps every time.
Answers to your questions: Jukka has health problems, new drummer is Kai. The guy next to floor is Troy, multi-instrumentalist. The slow song you were humming is called "while your lips are still red" Tarja was usually good Anette was sometimes good Floor is usually awesome
"When Tarja left, I felt like Nightwish had changed as a band...and again, I love Tarja, but this woman does not make me miss her." Best and most Honest compliment possible. @23:05
@@IdiotPosterBoyAnette was okay. In any other band she most probably would shine. But she was compared to Tarja and now Floor and those singers are above everything. There are a few songs I really like with Annette.
When you look at Wolfkin‘s face the moment Floor starts to sing you can see the massive relieve and love for this band. You can literally see how big of a place they hold in his heart, and how he NEEDS this new version to be okay or even good. And the moment he knows: „this is what Nightwish is meant to be about!“ is written on his face.
That's such a magical thing you must have experienced. I was not there, but I imagine if I had been, that it would have been one of the top moments of my life. Just watching this is so epic... I'm envious of all the people that hold that power inside them from having attended live on that day in 2013.
It must have been a journey of a lifetime. Thank heavens there is TH-cam to get a little pinch of that experience. And what an impact has that little pinch. I can only imagine what it must have been while being actually there....
@@Secret_Agent_Mark I JUST watched a deluxe BluRay version of this concert in glorious 5.2 DTS Master Audio and HD ! It was reaction videos like this that sent me on a short journey to buy a copy, SO glad I did !
This is NIGHTWISH! Love! Emotion! Appreciation! Energy! Tears! Laughter! A rush of feelings in each song! Please you need to watch this Wacken concert entirely! This wasn’t even 1 year after Floor joined the band, she was still not officially a member and she pulls this in such an amazing way! Me too stopped following them with the new material after my first concert with Annette...and when I learned amazing Floor had joined and watched Wacken’s , oh my Universe! Was so bloody anxious about how Tarja’s songs would sound, I would literally lower the volume so it wouldn’t hurt too much, but immediately my tears started falling down, chills all over and that was it! Now I can listen to all of their songs with the same pleasure! Hardly ever miss the original singers, taking a couple of songs of course! You also have Tampere dvd and the Wembley Arena, all before 2016. Along with Floor came Troy, the multi faced instrumentalist and so well put together as a human being, also present on those 2 last concerts, unfortunately we lost Jukka due to a struggling condition, but before exiting to behind the scenes (he still works with Nightwish but in finance if not mistaken ), he invited his good friend Kai from Wintersun to join the band, and we gained this amazing drummer, with the perfect technic to play all the intricacies of Nightwish’s compositions! Will miss Juka’s energy forever though! Tuomas must finally feel like living a dream come true, as Nightwish, is lifelong project, is now a tight band, having fun as ever, respecting each other and delivering to the fans experiences like yours! And us fans, never get tired of witnessing magic happen! Love heavy metal, but no other band as touched me like them! Going to see them in December for my 4th time, so excited! Thank you guys for allowing us to feel with you the strength of this song, and this performance in particular! The elements Floor introduces to places in the song where we had only instrumentals, and all the levels she reaches, make it my top 1 performance of all times!
I have exactly the same sentiment, I followed Nightwish since 2004-ish and loved their music, but lost them along the way. Beeing a fan of Floor since After Forever, I jumped back on the bandwagon a few years ago and I couldn’t be happier they are back. The band hasn’t been more complete since Floor joined them and Floor has never been a better singer. I’m too a big heavy metal fan, I love industrial metal and some types of black metal, but Nightwish is (together with some other Symphonic/Power metal bands) something special. I see them live November 5th in Berlin! ☺️🤘🏻❤️
Wow..didn't expect your reactions..but then again..I'm 52 and have never heard of this band before..certainly never heard of symphonic metal. I've always wanted to see a orchestra play ..but when I heard this type of music I finally found my sound!! Absolutely love them.
I've loved this band for 20+ years, and I was just like the guy here who learned to really enjoy _Dark Passion Play_ but kinda lost track of the band after that. And then to find they have a third singer and wow...
@@george93308 Same here George. I'm a lifelong E.L.O fan and only discovered Nightwish a few months ago after hearing so much about them and decided to see what all the fuss is about and OMG 👍😊
I keep coming back to this reaction and I completely get how Wolf is feeling! My bf tried so many times to make me a NW fan, but I never quite got the vibe with either Tarja or Anette. I mean Tarjas voice is amazing, it just didn`t click for me together with NW`s music. Their music is so epic, powerful and majestic and for me personally, neither Tarjas or Anettes voice were compatible to the music. And then came Floor Jansen. This was the first song I heard, and I was FLOORED! It`s like Wolf said, she was just the embodiment of what their music is and she fit so perfectly!! She has done so much before, but it is like Floor and Nightwish was destined to end up together. Perfect perfect perfect!!!!!
I've been a fan of Nightwish for 15 years and couldn't bring myself to listen to Nightwish without Tarja until a few years ago, but I only listened to the album Annette was on. No disrespect at all to Annette, she is a good singer but her vocal style and personality weren't suited to the aesthetic or sound of Nightwish. It wasn't until a few days ago that I finally listened to this song and I can honestly say that I regret not giving Floor a chance sooner. They look so much happier and Floor suits them perfectly. Sistah expressed more freely what I felt when I heard this for the first time. Floor is definitely the Valkyrie that Nightwish was in desperate need of and I'm happy they found her.
Best Nightwish song. Best Symphonic Metal song. Best song in general, in music, in world. I feel the same every time I hear it. It is simply incredible. Is magic.
I disagree. Don't get me wrong, I love the song, but if we go through modern music I have to say Queens-Bohemian Rhapsody is still the highest rated for me.
@@TheAlex11880 Each person would tell you a different song, surely. Anyway, not only classical groups have written great songs. There is always that tendency (both in music and cinema) to sanctify the classic, as if nothing better has been done since that. And I don't think that this is true. I'm not going to go into whether it's better or worse that Queen song than this Nightwish song, I do not care. I like both, but... for Nightwish, I feel a special predilection over the rest of the bands, and that particular song I love it, so much. So, personally I think it's one of the best songs that has ever been done EVER. Thanks for your comment.
actualy he doesn t because he last heard it when tarya was singing it and she didn t do the last part! that was eddited by floor during the 10 months she started with the band!
Off all the Nightwish reactions videos I have seen the moment when Floor starts to sings and Wolf reconnects with the love of one of his favorite bands is just beautiful. You can see Wolf anticipating how she will sound, and a few shorts moments later the relief and joy taking over. So lovely. The buildup with your history of the band show how much the band meant in the past to you. I have come back to see this several times. 😃 9:45 to 10:15.
11:16 Wait hold on! She just started crying as soon as Floor started to sign hahahaha I'm afraid about what could happen to her when Floor nail the last note :c 15:40 Aaaw that was cute 20:01 My god she's like she's having a kind of spiritual revelation hahaha 22:10 SHE'S CLEARLY HAVING A SPIRITUAL REVELATION :O 22:36 Ok ok ok now it's me who's trying hold my tears 22:51 Fuck me, I'm also crying :'(
I'm on a binge of ghost love score reactions and this one takes the cake. Like... It hit you immediately that it was special. In my humble Dutch opinion (totally not biased because she's Dutch), Floor Jansen is simply the greatest singer ever. If aliens ever come to check what humanity could provide to the greater good of the universe, we just show them Floor and they'll be like "Aight, they're good".
People usually break down in floods of tears at the incredible last note but this was like someone who had just heard music for the first time. Wow. Probably my new favourite reaction to the Waken 2013 performance of Ghost Love Score. I appreciate you folks being willing to post this for everyone to see. The song made my cry first time too by the way.
I watch your reaction at least once a month. The purity and the honesty of this reaction from both of you is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to be far from... Thank you. Two years late, but thank you!
So here we are. Welcome to the Golden Age of Nightwish. I had been waiting for this kind of turn since seeing them play live at Finnish clubs and festivals in the 90's. I never was too crazy about Tarja; rather, it took Floor to pique my interest in any serious fashion. Floor is such a genuinely warm, highly intelligent and supremely talented person - true Amazon Queen of Hearts for me. She also is a true professional, truly valuable asset as the newly galvanized band keeps working their way towards their true potential. Sistah and Wolf, I really love your thoughtful and emotionally invested commentary on this one. Became a subscriber within a minute, even before the waters broke on our shared emotions. Best of wishes for You two from Finland.
Hi, Sunshine :) It is nice hearing your thoughts of Floor! I can totally believe everything you said. She exudes greatness! Thank you for the kind words about Wolf and I. You are beautiful. Best wishes, love and light, to you :* (((hugs)))
And it’s such a shame she gets almost none recognation here in holland, (even in the small metal community) can’t blame here for moving over to sweden/finland you guys rock👍
The Greatest Show on Earth live at Tampere 2015 is probably the most notable, most epic, and longest Nightwish song and performance that has existed thus far. It is about evolution. Evolution of the universe, of man, of philosophy, and of music. It would be awesome to have a reaction of that masterpiece!!!!
Un Tal Mr. X Yeah, some people are going to prefer what they prefer. I love that one for the fact that Richard Dawkins is there and comes out on stage. However, I love the timed fireworks at Tampere. Floor adds some vocal flares at some points, such as “life” at the “Enter life” part. And also her saying “We were here... Kiitos” at the end adds another level of emotion to it. And I would also say the music mix is more balanced at Tampere.
Lol 2 seconds into Floor singing and she already had a floorgasm... Wasn't expecting that. Most people wait until the end to climax. (Edit) just wanted to say that I love that you can be yourself and feel the music for how beautiful it is. I felt the same way back when I first heard 'I wish I had an angel' all those years ago. Keep doing you. Let your emotions flow through you
Wishing the Viking Queen a speedy recovery ... this performance is by far one of the top live performances ever ... the band was out of this world, and she delivered powerfully and gorgeously with a voice that can take troops to battle like a General!
I totally understand her... when Tarja left, or was kicked, we all fell the doom was coming on NW and that they would never recovered... no harsh feelings for Anette but she.. didn't cut it, she wasnt the voice for NW. Being a fan of After Forever myself, when I heard Floor was going to be in the band (first as invited) i said "oh yes... now we have NW back". I saw her live in 2012 and prayed she would stayed. I am not sure if there is a god out there, but someone heard my calling. Yes. We can cry. Nightwish has now the BEST voice we could ever ask for. She is a Siren, she is a Viking, she is Pop, Rock, Opera. Floor is everything. Lets enjoy :)
Wolfkain you know what? I was exactly like you. First time i hearing Floors Version of a song i know for so long i got teared up instantly like you. Never thought that someone else as Tarja could touch my soul, but Floor did this in the first second. Sistah you need a hug for being so emotional and feeling free to show all your emotion you have
Best reaction I've ever seen! What a lovely couple you are. Tarja's name, you should pronunciate the "J" in it too. (I'm Finnish) Edit: since you were nice enough to give me a heart, I had to write some more. To me Tuomas Holopainen (the composer) is a pure genius. It's so funny that when Nightwish first started everyone was laughing at them in Finland, since they didn't get this wonderful consept to mix opera & metal! Now only one who is laughing is Tuomas when he goes to bank!!
I never thought a band could emotionally engage me like Pink Floyd has for the last 50 years but Nightwish is outstanding. I hope they tour America sometime soon. Absolutely mind blowing. Perfection!!!!
I haven't checked all their tour dates, but they have been though western Canada a couple of times in the last few years. They are very polished live, as they should be after being together so long. Delain was an opening act and they were pretty tight as well.
Check out Anathema - untouchable live (the one with the higher number of views) If you like Pink Floyd, you should enjoy. And then maybe Porcupine Tree - Live at Tilburg.
They actually had a tour in America back in the summer. I went to the one in NYC in August. Unfortunately the mic for Floor wasn’t loud enough and her voice was over powered by the music. Other than that it was awesome!
I can not express how much I appreciated the authenticity and vulnerability you both showed during this reaction. Seeing people be moved by music the way I am is really awesome. This is my first time watching you guys but it will NOT be my last! ❤️🤘🔥
I’m felling like a spammer! LoL I’ve never seen or heard of you two until this came up in my feed. The two of you are an infinitely adorable pair! Love you two at first sight!
I swear, I haven't had my migraine in weeks now but I guess I'll have it this evening after you both made me cry. I love you guys, you are a wonderful couple. Thank you for these wonderful experiences you are having and sharing them with us. As soon as Sisath started crying, I couldn't hold my tears either. Nightwish is an awesome band, Floor is a magnificent singer and you guys are the beautiful people.
This is literally still my favorite reaction of "Ghost Love Score" from Wacken. You guys grabbed my heart--you're so incredibly sweet and genuine. Also, Half Life--your voice is seriously so soothing!!! Love you guys!
This is one of the best reaction videos I have ever seen! I appreciate you both taking all the time that is necessary to really explore and intelligently discuss this earth-shattering performance. I'm also glad that you both feel free to show your emotions. My reaction was similar to Wolfkain's - gobsmacked, stunned silence followed by uncontrollable tears, goosebumps and chills. Later I learned that this is called a "Floorgasm."
In an interview she says she does and she's thrilled that people of different music backgrounds are opening up to new kinds of music and that the most important thing for her is that the music, not her specifically, is getting out there. She did poke fun at some of the self proclaimed "vocal coaches" but she enjoys hearing actual professionals experience and react to her singing and the technical feedback they offer.
i've seen a ton of reactions to this amazing rendition, and even the most seasoned vocal coaches are just blown away by this performance. Nightwish with Floor is like a religious experience.
Tuomas is a musical genius. As a modern composer he is comparable with Vangelis. Nightwish fans are a fickle lot. but , despite allegiences, Floor is the best thing ever to happen to the band. You guys are genuinely inspirational. Love you. xxx
Every time I hear this it makes me cry, this is so beautiful, this is what music (and life) is all about, perfection of feelings in a piece of art, 10/10 🤘
Loved your responses. I cannot play this song without crying. I am watching reactions from 23.00 to 6.45 non stop tears pooring. Yes I'm Dutch and proud to have the best singer of the world coming from the Netherlands. But that makes me proud only. The tears and emotions just come from the song the absolute gorgeous voice. I'm pretty sure she makes angels cry too.... I tottaly understood your genuine reactions both different but both very touching for different reasons....
Sistah and Wolf, you guys are great!! I love how emotional you both were on this reaction! I just started listening to Nightwish a couple of months ago and was blown away. Cant believe I missed out on them for so many years. Anyway, great reaction and keep em coming! :)
Easily, one of the best videos I ever saw on TH-cam... A totally visceral, beautiful and sincere reaction to an already amazing, visceral and sincere live performance from Nightwish... I bet you made a lot of people cry together with this video. Kudos, it was great...!
OK, so I have been listening to many people reacting to this Ghost Love Score, and I felt they were dishonest about it being a first reaction. I do not feel that with you two. Wolf was up front about his knowledge of the group. You seem genuine. Please keep that up.
First of all. That chorus makes me cry just how powerful and beautiful it is. And to see you two getting this emotional just makes me break down. Thank life for good music. I feel you Wolf, I feel you 🤘
Floor can and does do all their songs perfectly! I bought VIP tickets and got the chance to meet the band in Miami last April. No diva personalities there. They are all wonderful, gracious, and down-to-earth people. Note that, in this video, the venue producers estimated this crowd at about 82,000 fans. So, during that minute-long orchestral intermezzo (pre-recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra, btw) you had 82,000 totally amped-up metalheads, who came ready to headbang, mesmerized into near silence so deep you could almost hear crickets chirping! How many bands can wield THAT kind of stage command? :)
I found NW 3 months ago and have found that reaction channels Strongly remind me of the feelings I had the first time I heard them. I am 73 and still can't believe I had never heard of them. I can't get enough now. I listen to EVERYTHING. Tarja, Anette, Floor, Marko, Jukka, Troy, Kai, interviews, documentaries....everything. And then I found you guys! Great reaction. My first introduction to NW was Phantom of the Opera with Tarja. I was blown away. GLS was the 2nd one. Floor walked out and I said "Who is this chick?" Then the chills started...then the goosebumps.....then the tears. This band brings emotions out of me long forgotten. So glad I found them, and you two as well.

😂😂 same. Doesn't matter how many reactions I've already seen. I immediately started crying with them.
Lol... Totally me today!!!
Literally same
Man, those reaction marathons, right. Once you begin, can't stop, even if it is like 4AM.
Also me today. I love this song and this particular performance
It´s called Floorgasm
LMFAO!!!!
Best definition ever
Indeed it is! :-)
It's not a song...it's an experience!
Now that was what we Nightwish fans call a floorgasm of epic proportions!!
"She is the embodiment of Nightwish"
Perfectly said.

Yup, same here.
I was obsessed with after forever when Annette joined. I was completely shattered in the best way when they announced Floor. 😭❤️❤️❤️
Holy hell, never seen someone being that touched by a voice they started crying rightaway. 😱❤

Best reply ever. Floor is a metal valkyrie. She sings to your soul.
I'm sure you'll never see this post but here goes anyway...
This is my 4th time watching this reaction. There are three things (besides my love of Nightwish) that keep me returning:
I've watched this many times as well. You nailed the exact reasons right on the head!
Thank you for this beatiful analysis!!! It feels so warm that there are more eyes out there who can see it like you realized it

Floorgasm: Common signs of a floorgasm are
1) Sudden loss of words in the midst of a sentence
2) Jaw dropping
3) Eye widening
4) Goosebumps and chills
5) Increased heart rate
6) Tears start flowing
7) A flow of words usually used in this way during certain other situations (OMG, WOW, incredible, soo gooood etc)
8) Heavy breathing
9) Throwing random shit around
10) Sinking back in the chair in complete surrender, Floor finishes her last note
11) The audience is completely exhausted but happy, the mating process is complete
This comment is waaaay underapreciated xD
I recently watched a reaction video to this song and you could add "sweating" to the list...
12) feeling like crying and getting that throat ache that comes with crying but not being able to shed a tear so your vision doesn't get clouded and you can see what's going on.
Yeah, screw her...
When Floor Jansen sings, even the angels stop to listen
LOL, I knew that would make her cry. The Poet and the Pendulum live would destroy her. Jukka had issues with insomnia and stepped down from playing in the band. He now does management for the band. The new drummer is Kai Hahto from Wintersun. Troy Donockley from the UK is the other full time member. He plays many instruments and does background vocals also.
I second this. The Poet and the Pendulum for sure.
That Wembley one would blow them away
Maybe try Greatest Show on Earth (live at Tampere) first. The emotion in Poet and the Pendulum may be really bad for her.
@@the_eaglefan why the fuck do people go with Tempere?? This show is great but Wembley is so much better off of that DVD/Blu-Ray set! "The Poet and The Pendulum" and "Greatest Show on Earth" are so much better in Wembley!
The Phantom of the Opera from End of an Era tour would blow them away too
Me as soon as Sistah reacted to Floor: I will protect this woman at all costs.
Adorable!!
Me too!!
You crying was exactly how I felt when I first her powerful captivating voice. She is a goddess!
New country music or old country music?
I am 78 years old and never considered metal at all, but came across this video by accident. Spent hours looking at Floor interviews and videos. A beautiful woman with such a great voice. So glad she recovered so quickly after her operation. Can't lose such a talent so early in life.

Same. I’ve been listening to them since 2006 and always thought even just from a composition standpoint this song deserved a LOT more recognition. I stopped listening to them for the most part in the 2010s and was shocked when I saw the resurgence they had in the 2020s.
"Make Sistah Cry" - Come on girl, it's just music.
"Nightwish - Ghost Love Score" - Oh...

In Nightwish circles the emotions you were experiencing is known as having a Floor-gasm.
Mara Fontes, beautiful sentiment. ❤️
heatherelf77 can’t help but feel all of that and then more about Nightwish!

You're so right here! \^^/
.
I could not have said it better! You are totally right!!
Shivannah 77 I’m with you!
Every word! Thumbs up!
I am a woman from 65 and i love nightwish. Have been twice to see them with my husband and daughter. Beautiful
Floor is amazing. Check out her earlier work with After Forever from 10+ years ago.
She also sang a song with Epica
20 years here...I am back as a fan🤗
I agree with you on this one ;)
Wolf: ok lets try to hold it together.
Me: Did you forget how the song ends?😂
actualy he doesn t because he last heard it when tarya was singing it and she didn t do the last part! that was eddited by floor during the 10 months she started with the band!
@@pascalnast9703 i know, but its still an amazing composition no matter the singer and he knows it 😉
Off all the Nightwish reactions videos I have seen the moment when Floor starts to sings and Wolf reconnects with the love of one of his favorite bands is just beautiful. You can see Wolf anticipating how she will sound, and a few shorts moments later the relief and joy taking over. So lovely. The buildup with your history of the band show how much the band meant in the past to you. I have come back to see this several times. 😃 9:45 to 10:15.
Totally...Cried with them
Never hold back the tears. Never let anyone make you feel bad for the music you love.
Wow, Jason!! :-O Thank you so much! I really needed to read this
11:16 Wait hold on! She just started crying as soon as Floor started to sign hahahaha I'm afraid about what could happen to her when Floor nail the last note :c
15:40 Aaaw that was cute
20:01 My god she's like she's having a kind of spiritual revelation hahaha
22:10 SHE'S CLEARLY HAVING A SPIRITUAL REVELATION :O
22:36 Ok ok ok now it's me who's trying hold my tears
22:51 Fuck me, I'm also crying :'(
😃🤗🤗😘💖
I'm on a binge of ghost love score reactions and this one takes the cake. Like... It hit you immediately that it was special. In my humble Dutch opinion (totally not biased because she's Dutch), Floor Jansen is simply the greatest singer ever. If aliens ever come to check what humanity could provide to the greater good of the universe, we just show them Floor and they'll be like "Aight, they're good".
Is thinking Ann Wislon is par with Floor Jansen. Maybe Stevei Nicks.
Thank you. Two years late, but thank you!
this is the greatest floorgasm ever recorded! 😂🤣
That one is really great, but my personal favorite is Wachen 2013
I prefer the Wembley version
We were here.. :)
Let your emotions flow through you
I Floorgasmed in the first two seconds as well
Multiple Floorgasms! ;)
Agree 100%! Floor is the perfect voice for Nightwish and I love Tarja more as a solo artist.
I was sad that the Mid-tour vocalist upgrade of 2012 had happened a week later than it did so I could have seen Floor on that tour....
Floor is the strongest Barbarians who smack everything on her path. Floor FTW!!
By far, the best Nightwish reaction I have seen. And I'm only half way into the video.
Sistah got a beautiful and fragile soul. Such an emotional reaction. God bless you
Wolfkain you know what? I was exactly like you. First time i hearing Floors Version of a song i know for so long i got teared up instantly like you. Never thought that someone else as Tarja could touch my soul, but Floor did this in the first second. Sistah you need a hug for being so emotional and feeling free to show all your emotion you have
For me who has been a fan since the beginning.... When I first heard it... Was like finding peace at least.
Floor gave me peace.
Best reaction I've ever seen! What a lovely couple you are. Tarja's name, you should pronunciate the "J" in it too.
(I'm Finnish)
Edit: since you were nice enough to give me a heart, I had to write some more. To me Tuomas Holopainen (the composer) is a pure genius. It's so funny that when Nightwish first started everyone was laughing at them in Finland, since they didn't get this wonderful consept to mix opera & metal! Now only one who is laughing is Tuomas when he goes to bank!!
My wife was overwhelmed as well by floor's beautiful vocals, floor has an amazing voice and is surely one of the greatest vocalist of all time.
I never thought a band could emotionally engage me like Pink Floyd has for the last 50 years but Nightwish is outstanding. I hope they tour America sometime soon. Absolutely mind blowing. Perfection!!!!
Ever listened to Epica?
@@tuomollo Porcupine Tree is a HUGE underrated band, Steven Wilson is a genius.
The Poet and the Pendulum with Floor, live at Wembley. Tuomas' hardest hitting song lyrically in my opinion, and Floor takes it to another world.
I believe it was 2016.
I belive it was shot 2015 and released 2016. Recently I found high quality version from this show with lyrics.
THIS
You know Britain is in Europe right?
@NorthernLights ofDemons Shut up you silly twat
I wonder if Floor ever takes a look at these reactions? I'd really like to see her reaction to this reaction lol
We Love you Floor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She has looked at lots of them since her performances on Beste Zangers. You'll see her pop up here and there
In an interview she says she does and she's thrilled that people of different music backgrounds are opening up to new kinds of music and that the most important thing for her is that the music, not her specifically, is getting out there. She did poke fun at some of the self proclaimed "vocal coaches" but she enjoys hearing actual professionals experience and react to her singing and the technical feedback they offer.
She has commented on a reaction video from Rebecca Vocal Athlete!
@@gauchesymbiote1039 I saw that.
i've seen a ton of reactions to this amazing rendition, and even the most seasoned vocal coaches are just blown away by this performance. Nightwish with Floor is like a religious experience.
Oh! The live video of Romanticide with Floor and Marco together is fantastic! The vocal swoop they do near the end is almost terrifying.
Thank you! Thank you for feeling about this song the same way I do. I play this every couple weeks and cry like a baby every time.
Tuomas is a musical genius. As a modern composer he is comparable with Vangelis. Nightwish fans are a fickle lot. but , despite allegiences, Floor is the best thing ever to happen to the band. You guys are genuinely inspirational. Love you. xxx
He is in the same class as Hans Zimmer, and also to John Williams
Watching this gave me goosebumps. I love seeing people fall in love with Nightwish
I cry every time I hear this and see this live video. One of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard.
Every time I hear this it makes me cry, this is so beautiful, this is what music (and life) is all about, perfection of feelings in a piece of art, 10/10 🤘
Powerful..pure emotion...her voice makes you FEEL
Thank you, Carl!! ^_^ ♥
Oh my good, what a reaction! I cryed instantly with you guys!!.Nightwish is amazing band and Floor fits with them perfectly. Creetings from Finland😎👋
You should really listen to Floor sing The Poet And The Pendulum live at Wembley.
They did.
You made it 3 seconds into Floor's vocals! And 'make-a-brotha cry'? You're making us all cry!!!! Love it :D
my favorite version of a great song
By far the best reaction video! Beautiful emotion by both of you. I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets emotional listening to this lol.
You truly are the most beautiful reaction at this song !
Thank you :)) ♥
nothing more refreshing than a nice emotional session with you guys. You deserve your channel to become way bigger
Tremendous compliment! Thank you, love :)
First of all. That chorus makes me cry just how powerful and beautiful it is. And to see you two getting this emotional just makes me break down. Thank life for good music.
I feel you Wolf, I feel you 🤘
Same shit here mate....always...
