There is a bunch of videos comparing the pint vs the xr but with the reduced weight (if range isn’t an issue for you) i would suggest going with the pint and it’s very customisable to suit your taste that being said the Onewheel is so comfortable to ride, simply amazing
Can you post the hoosier tire specs that you installed. Just interested. I just got my board not to long ago and haven’t been able to ride hardly any yet. Im really like thinking of getting on it in the snow.
I think its time for me to comment on your sick Jordan collection. Dope man! 1's, 3's, 4's, and 5's are the truth. I like using vans, Jordan 1's, and Nike dunks on my one wheel. I love a shoe that just gives you some great board feel. Let me get a video on some shoes that have the best board feel. Anyways, keep the vids coming. cheers
@@ScotMendenhall I need to catch up on the last dance. I wanted to wait so I can binge. I only saw the first episode. It's pretty compelling from what I've watched. But yes, the Jordan 1 Chicago color ways have skyrocketed in value since that documentary came out. Until you put that video about shoes and board feel, float on brother. Cheers.
I counted two goofy stances 🤟. How old is your youngest rider there? I have two 4 year olds but they’re too light still to activate the pressure pad lol.
I tried the treaded tire for the pint and rode about 500 miles on it before switching back to the stock tire. As much as I love the feel and look of the pint treaded tire, it has a major flaw in that it takes away 1-3 miles of range. Normally I get 8-10 miles of range but when I switched I was only getting 5-8. Although the tire and rides is awesome, this con makes it not worth it to me. Also it is noiser than the stock tire for those who are curious. It sounds like a car driving on the road but I like the sound tbh
thanks for the vid! I purchased this tire a few days ago, just waiting for it to arrive. Awesome that you dropped this vid right when I was looking for more info lol I ride on loose dirt/sand a lot so the stock tire kept slipping on some areas. I went higher PSI to make the tire harder but it just bounces too much (more than 20psi which is supposed to be the max), hopefully, this one has enough 'grab' to avoid the slips on low tire pressure and if needed I can go higher psi without losing the 'softness'.
Just ordered a pint! This was the first upgrade I wanted to do can you provide us with a link where you bought the tire or the specs of what we should look for on the Internet to buy one! Thanks n just subscribed! Great helpful videos!
Scot Mendenhall Awesome thanks much appreciated love the channel! Can’t wait to get mine with all my accessories on the 26th delivered!!! Watching your videos to get ready!
best way to get rid of lettering on any tire: first is a bit of patience, second a wet stone (like a sharpening stone or a river stone), get it real wet and a bit of elbow grease!!! i use to do it on my car tires!!!
I have this pint Hoosier treaded and a Flight fins whisper pint tire in the closet. This review has me wanting to change it finally. Was the treaded noisier? Also please try the whisper slick for the pint. I really would like to hear your opinion.
Dang man. You don’t have to take it apart that much for the tire. Remove front footpad, disconnect the cable you need, remove the fender delete and the mag handle and the tire and motor slid out the bottom like the XR. Hope to see you test the XtraRad Burris.
Hey scot! My names jesse and I have a onewheel pint with the stock tire. Ive put over 200 miles on it and loving every minute! After watching your review and range test video I found myself looking into getting one of the hoosier treaded tires but im on the fence because I am primarily riding on concrete and gravel. Do you think its still worth it? Thanks for your time! Jesse...
You know the difference between the d30 and d30a compound? I've been searching and can't find the difference. I'm guessing one is slightly softer? (Wet compound is softest I believe) 🤙
Nice foxtail race! I like how you guys just fly over different terrains. I just started two weeks ago and very hesitant on riding on dirt trails, the board seems really squirrely. Do I need more speed? or just more practice! I’ve downhill skied but never did any board sports. I’m riding a Pint slate.
Awesome video bro, I’m really interested to get this treaded tyre for my pint but a future video you could do is a range test to see how much the treads effect the miles. See you laters, Luke
Thanks for reviewing a treaded Pint tire! I’d be interested in knowing how it handles mud. After the last rainfall, there was a bit of mud on the bike trail that I didn’t see and it was like hitting a patch of ice with the slick tire.
We raced in the mud yesterday and that video will drop on sunday at 10am. That will clearly show you how it handles the wet muddy stuff. good to see you name pop up on the comments. How are you and your family doing?
We’re doing good! The last couple of weeks have been busy with yard work, but I’ve been trying to keep my OW streak going. We’re building a fence and it’s been a great project to work together on!
thanks for the advice
No problem!

Where can you actually buy a Stock Tire for Pint?
Scot. What size tire was this HOOSIER Tire you installed? Is this also more Rounded or more Square tire?
A little or rounded Size 5.0 10.05 /6
I am a new beginner and have trouble balancing and thought getting Threaded tires be better for me? Hoosier tire is the best way to go?
some one link me the tire plz id like to change it out for my racing slick

Scot Mendenhall it’s always the highlight of the day so glad I won somthing this week 🤟🤟
I love how you are becoming the standard for onewheel tire reviews on TH-cam.
Ha the standard that's very kind and I can only dream of that one day. We love getting to drop our thoughts on all things Onewheel
Which Hoozier Tire is this that you're riding?
This is the treaded tire that Float life sells

So do I Dom. I think it has a very cool vibe to it.
Just got a pint.2 rides in (14 miles). I Live in NYC. I feel the stock wheel I have is too round. Will this tire give me more of a stable ride?
It should but you could take out a few PSI out of you tire and get the same effects. Give that a try.
Scot Mendenhall Thank you! Rode 10 miles today. Confidence & letting some air out was the remedy.

At 18psi for me it's nice and soft and has that bite to it.

Oh yeah! that's one of my Fav videos we have done.
I like the tread of the pint tire much more than any other tire treds for the xr
I agree with that as well.
Hey Scot, can this tire stretch onto the XR, or will the Hoosier 11.5x7.1-6 treaded fit?
Would love to know about stock vs whisper on pint.
