Your tire reviews have gotten a lot better. Your first Hoosier one was good but really like how your comparisons are for the different tires. And it's a great visual how you keep stacking up the tires! Keep up with the great content.

As treaded tires go this is in the top for sure. I like the Burris 6 so I knew I would love this one.
Those shots with the dust flying in the background are amazing. They wouldn’t look out of place in a official Onewheel advert, good job 👍

Another awesome video Scot! I'm still recovering from ACL surgery so I'm off the onewheel for a while. But I don't know anyone else who rides a onewheel where I live but seeing you and the kids all ride together makes group riding look so fun!
How much more time for the recovery
I'm a month after my second surgery so about 4 more months

Hah! Don't loose the kids...great stuff. I've watched a few of your videos. I'm putting a new tire on this afternoon. Would love to see what your 'BEST" tire is to date? I'm like yourself and ride both trail and road. I want the quiet noise of the slick tires...lots of abortion of the tire as well (not to stiff). I'm thinking of just slapping on another VEGAS stock tire unless I hear there's something truly better out there? Anyone suggest a BEST OVERALL TIRE for year around riding? If not, think I'm going with the VEGA (Slick) stock tire again.
I am dropping a video on the Burris Slick colab from Float Life tomorrow. I have not rode it yet but tomorrow I will and I'll let you know. I have high hopes for this tire
@@ScotMendenhall Hi...just got back from the OneWheel shop.. I have them putting on the Burris Tubeless SS-3A (11 x 5.00 x 6) | Slick Series tire. Not sure if your testing that exact model...but I'll let you know how it feels.

Scott have you even put the pint tire on the xr? If not could U do so please. I see people buying this growler kit so they can have a shorter board for the xr with a pint tire I don’t wanna spend 500 for that I would buy a pint tire if you can give us your opinion as to what it’s like to ride a nimble pint with the xr Range feeling and your excitement for the onewheel thanks buddy happy new yr.

Hard comparison, but ive got the hoosier whisper slick right now and I'm considering the tfl trailpro because I got a pretty bad puncture and will need to replace it anyway. Wanted to know your thoughts between the two, specifically carvability on the street, but also any other things that stuck out to you between the two. I love my whisper slick even on trails, possibly especially in trails, for me it was 100x more stable than the vega. the only thing making me consider treaded is sideways motion in mud and wet leaves and the fact that snow will be here soon. Hard to find anybodys thoughts on this since they are two completely different kinds of tire. ive ridden the hoosier treaded a little bit and didn't really care for it, felt very square and loud. Just dont want to get the trailpro only to turn around and buy another whisper slick. Thanks in advance 🤙 love your level of stoke for this review
The TFL treaded tire is awesome and you can ride it on streets and on trails and enjoy the curving on both.

I remember hearing the strip on the burris tires are for better grip on roads.
Well done Burris for that. They did well with it.
That solid rubber line down the middle of the Burris great affects the amount of noise the tire makes. IE, it will make less noise.

I've got about 300 miles on my XR with stock Vega..yesterday I went to some fairly hilly single track which is where all the local MB riders go...I had such a hard time getting very far and it wasn't much fun...you make it look like alot of fun...maybe I should experiment with air pressure because I had it pretty high which is where I like it for street
Yeah if you are going to ride off road i think lowering the PSI and pretty nice. I like to float at 18psi. I find that great for both.
@@ScotMendenhall so is that new Burris your favorite tire? I've been wanting to replace my stock Vega and I've been waiting for these new tires to hit the market and hear peoples thoughts on them..I mostly ride concrete/pavement/asphalt/beach
How do the treads sound and feel on street with the Trail Pro? Probably my biggest thing keeping me away from treaded, I had the FF T1 before but there was pretty significant rumble and vibration on street, but I bet the softer compound dampens that pretty significantly. Still gonna rock the Whisper for the time being though, but I've got my eye on this one 👀

Hey man, another great video. Quick question though. Looks like you’ve got a Mag handle on your XR. Does it hold up well? I’m wanting a handle for my XR, but didn’t know if I need to spend the extra $45 to get the Mag handle Pro, or if the regular Mag Handle would work. Thanks!
Best handle hands down. Love it. It's out of the way and looks great.
How does it compare to the flight fins treaded whisper? I have that tire on my board now and am hoping to have a chance to check out the float life Burris.

Hi Scot! from 1-10 what grade would you give this tire?
This is my fav treaded tire for the XR. I really like it. The only reason I don't keep it on all the time is to try out another tire for a video.
So 8 months down the road what's your favorite treaded tire? The Trail Pro or T2?

I need a tyre that’s hybrid as well for my wat to work .. i go 4km on road and then about 2 km on dirt rough terrain.. hope the review is good for the pint’s wheel cuz don’t think I’ll be able to afford the Xr 😬

Is there a weight limit for the onewheels? I'm on the heavier side and have been looking to purchase a onewheel.
the Onewheel XR is the biggest Onewheel and I think the weight limit is around 275
Hey mate! I was just wondering if you've noticed much reduction in range with this tire compared to a slick? I'm still on my stock Vega and reckon this might be my new tire if range isn't too badly effected. Thanks 😊
I did notice some but not much. The trade off is good. I mean your going to be riding on different surfaces so that will help eat up the battery

We really like s1 helmets. That's what we have and they are great. We will be dropping a video on helmets soon.

It's really easy but I have been filming for years on skateboards and other boards.

Yes. I tried the whisper for a short while and went back to the original Hoosier slick. It carves like butter.
Just know the steep road where that threads would grip its sole. LoL

Nice info and real world expierence. However my LORD, I lament the struggle your kids are going to go through up until they are forced to divert from their father’s decision (which will be hard) to give them some stupid, and honestly CRUEL names, and give themselves real, socially acceptable names.
