@@blacknightcreations tailgate is bang on 👌.. looking forward to how you are going to finish behind rear window …b pillar etc.. that’s where most fail miserably.. your mind Is definitely thinking outside the box.. you need to look up Roger Ramjet proton energy pill 😅😂the proton a true stroke of genius
@adamgilesconcoursdelegance9302 working on the next episode right now and I’ve just realised I’m at the “attaching panels” stage. Hopefully you’ll have an answer on the B pillar soon and I completely agree that it’s where a lot of truck conversions get let down.
Great video mate, nice shout out to Trev at South Glenelg Brake Service. Like yourself, he is a top bloke. He recently did a much needed service on my territory at the last minute before a family holiday. I'll be hitting up the merch store soon, make sure you have an XL hoodie and tee for me 😊
The time and effort you’ve put in to this setup has paid off - It looks great! Impressive what you can come up with to solve any problem. So shiney and new :) can’t wait to see the next step with the tailgate.
hi lewis the spacer should be legally if they are bolted to the rim with 5 tappered set screws then it makes the rim a 2 piece if they are solid mag. or 3 piece if they are 2 piece rims not legal if they are bolted to the stub axle i recon but it most likely cheaper with 18 inch rims but saying that your rims and brakes look real good on the ute cheers glenn
I think you’re talking about the dust shield spacers? They only hold the dust shield to the trailing arm and have the brake shoes rest on them so don’t mess with the wheels at all.
If the spacer is made to fit into the factory rim at the rear and affixed to the rim then infact they are legal , I bore the rim center out and make hubcentric spacers and press them into the rear of the rim and then mount spacer to rim with Allen head countersunk bolts so they sit flush
Yes Lewis. England says great to see you back. You are truly amazing. E30 truck is our favourite build. It’s an incredible looking set up. Brakes and diff you could eat your dinner off it’s all so cool. 🇬🇧❤
Braking News!!!! He’s backkkkk💪
Back and motivated to finish this Ute!
@@blacknightcreations just remember that the BMW factory couldn’t even execute their later Ute as well as you are doing here!
@adamgilesconcoursdelegance9302 thanks, I’ve definitely caught myself comparing the Ute to the ones BMW ones.

Hahaha I wonder who this is? XL hoodie has been put aside ready to go.

Yes you are correct, spacers bolted to the rim and affixed to the rim are legal

The spacers aren’t attached to the rim or the hub, they sit behind the dust shield
@@blacknightcreations what we are saying is you can legally run wheel spacers but they must be attached to the rim permanently
